[7.0] "A solid tag match, but it lost my attention around halfway through the match during an extended control segment by the champs. Still had some fun stuff in it."
[7.0] "M3K's lengthy Twin Gate title reign comes to close, and unfortunately to Dragon Dia and Yuki Yoshioka. Susumu Yokosuka and Yasushi Kanda's reign as Twin Gate champions has been one of the few highlights of calendar year 2023 for Dragongate. It was probably the right time to end their reign, I'm just disappointed in the team that beat them for it. Yoshioka continues to show no charisma or character growth at all, the same issues that plagued his Open the Dream Gate title reign are still apparent and there has been no improvement. He's a fine wrestler, but has no crowd connection at all, and I don't blame the crowds at all. M3K were significantly more compelling in this match than the eventual winners, and it wasn't really even close."
[8.0] "Usually when pro-wrestling match 'just keeps fucking going' it's a very negative reaction to what happened in later portion of it (basically it was dragging along for the longest time), but this match had really good drama that was all about in-ring action and it played into the finish - Dia found a way to pin Kanda in the heat of the moment with an injured ankle, and after all ups and downs it felt earned, not given. Watching Susumu wrestle is like watching master at work, who seen it all and knows what to do and not to do at all times. ***3/4"
[8.0] "An excellent way to end Susumu Mochizuki and Yasushi Kanda's reign. It went 20+ minutes but it never dragged and both teams always managed to bring interest in this match. M3K's leg work on Dragon Dia was great and though Dragon Dia's selling may be a bit spotty for some, he sold his injured leg at the right moments. It was great how Susumu and Kanda started to be more agressive in their leg work toward the end, Susumu hit an avalanche Ashi Yokosuka, Kanda a Elbow Drop on the leg and Susumu followed with a figure four leg lock which nearly led them to win the match but Yoshioka did the save with an amazing Frog Splash. Yoshioka and Susumu had such a great exchange that ended with a clash between Jumbo No Kashi/Battle Hook with the Jumbo No Kashi winning the clash. Great finishing stretch with Dragon Dia trying his 450 Splash but fell on his feet and hurt his knee, Kanda capitalized with a John Woo and the Tornado de Acapulco but Dia avoided and hit the Reptilian Rana for the win. The torch has been passed to Yuki Yoshioka & Dragon Dia and the future of the twin gate division is on good hands with teams like D'courage - ****"
