I enjoyed the extended sequence with Fujinami trying to avoid and then escape the sasori-gatame before ultimately getting his legs wrecked by the hold. As on 4/3 Choshu escapes with another indecisive victory, this one by count out."

This match, unlike the April 3rd meeting of Choshu & Fujinami, doesn't have the same fire these two brought to the prior match, which also had a more decisive finish. This is still a good chapter in the rivalry of these two, and I loved some sequences like the battle to put on the Scorpion, but this was just a good early 80's title match and nothing as memorable as that prior encounter."

It's the same as Okada/White at WK17: two extremely capable main eventers put on a great match but have the misfortune of following one of the greatest matches of all time and are thus a bit overshadowed by it. My one complaint would be that I was a bit disappointed to see this also end in a count-out, with this technically being the third count-out of the night. Regardless, solid stuff from both men and especially strong work from Choshu here. Loved the selling in this one in particular."

The finish made sense as the count-out was used as a way emphasize how much punishment Choshu gave to Fujinami. 8/10"

Might actually be better than the first, I'm not sure. The point is, this is great, and both guys played their parts wonderfully."

Loved the little slaps and cuntish kicks they threw at each other. Amped up the hate a mega ton which is good to the new viewer. Better than the one earlier in the month. ****"

Technically sound, intense, great atmosphere altogether, with great storytelling at the ending stretch. ***1/2"
