[6.0] "This was an okay main event that had more with way more wrestling than HoT normally does. Nothing remarkable to make this standout as something to see, just HoT isolating TJP because of his injury until he made a hot tag to Akira. Later in the match everything broke down and the wrench, whiskey, and the rest of HoT got involved. ***"
[7.0] "Somehow Catch 22 (again) made this match very interesting in the moment, but it also really helped that there was little to no interference, and that interference only added to the finish and made babyfaces' win a little sweeter. Best match on the show that had some good matches."
[6.0] "TJP pinned SHO with an inside cradle after SHO was on the receiving end of an accidental spray of whiskey from Yoshinobu Kanemaru. A nice shorter main event that was obviously helping to build for the eventual final of the Super Junior Tag League. The match was about 16 minutes deep before the rest of House of Torture made an appearance by which point I'd foolishly forgotten that was a likely thing to happen."
[6.0] "About as enjoyable as is possible to have with HOT. Decent work throughout the actual bulk of the match, and all the HOT gang warfare was actually met with United Empire reinforcements as they should be every time. NJPW is very lucky they have Catch 22 to hold this tournament to a certain baseline of quality."
[6.0] "They have had 18 minutes to wrestle and is a lot in this tournament, since the most of the matches are too short NJPW's bookers shouldn't fuck up the times in which they can give importance to a certain bout; why choice this? DKC's match apart all the other Jr. Tag Team League matches deserved the main - event spotlight more, this is just another normal HoT match but saved by Catch 2/2. ***1/4"
