[6.0] "Just a decent match, but quite disappointing when this guys were delivering the most realistic worked-shoot feud of that era. This doesn't go beyond your typical textbook Street Fight, some brawling in the crowd, some more brawling in the ring, a couple of objects being used. Damn, they even missed one of the two big spots of the match with Matt doing the Diving Leg Drop from the ladder. It has some ok callback to the SummerSlam match with Matt being once again in the position of being asked if he can continue with Edge kicking his head in complete superiority, but aside of that and the finish with Matt trying to attack Lita and the Side Effect onto the electric equipment, the rest is quite basic. Props to both guys for the bumps and the hits they took in these kind of matches, but this is just underwhelming for what their feud was (*** 1/4)"

[6.0] "A pretty nice brawl between Edge and Matt Hardy, way better than their SummerSlam '05 match that made Matt look very weak. This was a good fight and you could feel the tension and hatred throughout it. The awesome ending with Matt Hardy hitting a Side Effect to Edge off the stage is burned into fans minds. 6.5/10"

[2.0] "This is very boring, just a lumbering plunder match with nothing that feels like authentic hatred, until a completely laughable no-contest ending where Matt and Edge jump off the stage onto some electrical equipment (? ), sparks fly and the commentators talked in hushed voices as they are wheeled away."

[5.0] "A very generic hardcore-style match. They had a big brawl to start, which definitely fit the story of their feud but which didn't result in the most interesting action despite still being executed decently. Not even their weapon-/prop-usage was especially interesting, but at least it was likewise all decently executed. Even in 2005, this was really nothing special, just quite basic and low-brow, and without any of the spectacle that can allow these such matches to be far more interesting. **1/2"

[7.0] "After their Summerslam bluff, Edge and Hardy refueled their grudge with this toughly contested street fight, with good timing and a sheer sense of hatred and revenge especially from Matt. Their selling is compelling and the climax grows to a controversial but effective finale that would put the base for their historic steel cage at Unforgiven. ***1/4"
