[9.0] "Watching this match, I was struck by what makes a good chamber match... You want big stars in the match if its for big stakes like a World title, you want strong 5 minutes, you want good energy brought into the match with each person brought into the match and you want a good, compelling finish. I believe this match ticked all those boxes except star power with Miz and Corbin personally lacking, although they involved in good to amusing spots at times here. This I believe was the first year of the padded chamber, it certainly doesn't sound painful like the grates which does take time to get used to but its still a great match. Loved Ambrose going nuts, using the chamber as a weapon, Cena/Styles open and do their thing, Corbin dominates and gets eliminated quickly.. then gets mad and murks Ambrose, who then gets eliminated by Miz... The finish is really fantastic with AJ/Bray Great match."

AJ and Cena add to their already prestigious rivalry by starting things off, then they revisit the triple threat between them and Ambrose, Corbin has a solid showing, The Miz as well, Bray oozes aura here and him winning is such a great moment that makes me hate WWE even more for fumbling his title reign. ****"

[8.0] "Possibly the greatest Chamber match of all time and the brightest shining moment of Bray Wyatt's career. Going into this match, I think most would have pegged Cena retaining or Styles winning. Maybe Miz and Ambrose were your long shots. I don't think anyone was expecting Wyatt or Corbin to win. But as Wyatt got closer and closer, cheers for him got louder and louder. When he eliminated Cena, it was almost like the arena collectively went "Wait...are they going to...? " Of course, the night after he won, I knew that Bray was simply going to be a transitional champion for Orton, but for this one night, you could pretend that Bray's stock had peaked. It was a magical night for us Wyatt fans that will now have an even more special place in our hearts due to his young death. This match isn't great just for the finish, though. Considering they couldn't be as violent as early Chamber matches during this era, they make up for it in big and unique spots. So many athletic and cool spots are done from the pods and into the steel. There are some risky bumps that land solid, too. Everyone is working their butts off. Styles in particular is shining everywhere. Cena too isn't taking it easy, and Ambrose is at his most creative. Corbin is built pretty strongly here, but his elimination is lackluster. Miz has crafty heel work, but is eliminated so quickly, it almost feels like he shouldn't have been here. The other four are driving the train. This match has the benefit of being a fantastic bout and having a special moment at the same time. It's not a perfect match, but it is magical in its own right. A personal favorite of mine that I frequently come back to."

This was the first match in the new chamber and I thought they did a great job of utilizing the new components (added space on top of the pods, safer flooring outside the ring, etc.). Outside of Baron Corbin, who was definitely not ready to be champion (especially heading into WrestleMania), any of the other 5 guys could've believably won this match at the time."

[8.0] "I liked the booking of Baron and Miz. Excellent heel work form both men. Not only that, but they also had a pretty big program ahead heading into Wrestlemania. Ambrose was fine, his chances of winning were slim to none and everyone understood that. Cena, eh, there was really a chance to do Cena vs Orton at WM. Great work from him though as usual, love the guy. And the odd final two - AJ who had just lost the title and Bray, he was the favourite, but I was not interested at all in seeing him as a world champ, let alone at WM. When it comes to wrestling, very enjoyable. Tons of smart sequences utilizing all of the signature moves of the competitors. When it comes to atmosphere - unfortunately dull. How can you change a steel floor for pads inside such a legendary structure? Vince was out of his damn mind (what a surprise...). Fun stuff, but felt rather as a regular six man elimination match"

Going into this i honestly thought cena would win so we could finally get that cena and orton match at mania but once bray pinned cena i knew it was going brays way. I just didnt expect them to actually give bray a chance like this. This match is great easily one of my favorite chamber matches. I wish the final 2 could have been cena and bray with bray pinning cena to win the wwe title to make up for years ago when bray shouldve gotten big wins over cena. No matter what this rules. 4.50 stars"

It was the biggest win of Wyatt's career and one of his best performances, but Corbin in particular looked out of place in the match. Chamber matches are never going to be 5-star classics, and this is one of the better ones despite it modern/PG nature. 3.25 Stars."

A few impressive spots but nothing too out of the ordinary for these matches these days. It's possible I just don't like this match type or there isn't much room for innovation in them. Not a skipper but I think there are better chamber matches out there and all of these guys have better matches you could be spending your time on."

Wyatt got the biggest win of his career and it was such a rewarding moment after feeling as though he wasn't being used at the level he should have been after suffering a bunch of big losses. The match itself was really good and it's one I've rewatched multiple times, including today. However, even then, the most memorable part of this match is the fact that, even if his reign wasn't the best, Wyatt still got this huge accomplishment and is on the list of men who have been WWE Champion."

[8.0] "This is a really good, well structured Elimination Chamber. It is a more modernised, 'PG' version of the chamber, as the steel grating has been replaced by padding and everything looks a lot cleaner and safer. It takes the match away from being gritty and violent, and moves it more towards something that is more focused on high spots. The wrestlers make use of the new floor by doing a lot of spots that would have been much too painful in the old chamber, and they all seem to be a lot more comfortable leaping off the new pods as well. The eliminations all make sense and are very well executed, and the match had enough action to feel like something is always happening (although there was a bit too much of people needing to lay out for extended periods of time). Everybody has a role, and they play off their existing storylines and relationships well. The conclusion of the match is very memorable, and they do an excellent job of putting Wyatt over as a threat and making him feel like a legitimate main eventer. You could see a world of potential here for what could have been. Rest In Peace, Bray Wyatt."

Not only was the action good but when Bray eliminated Cena, reminiscent of the 2009 World Championship main event that also saw Cena got eliminated as the defending Champion, things started to get really engrossing, the crowd got more lively as we were guaranteed a new WWE Champion. I actually thought Styles was gonna win but when Bray planted Styles with the Sister Abigail and as he covered him 1, 2, 3, the entire arena came undone. This was a truly epic crowning moment, completely unexpected but wholeheartedly welcomed. Very good match and the ending bumps up a point in a huge way. ****1/2"

Corbin just came in to wreck stuff up and he looked amazing before getting eliminated off getting distracted by Miz. [10.0] "This stands out as one of the best Elimination Chamber matches in the Modern Era of WWE. All six men entered with a good chance of winning the title and that aspect made this match even more prominent and exciting to watch. The way it started with the leftovers of Royal Rumble between Cena & Styles was the best call as they set the tone for the match in a way that wouldn't have been better. Apart from the fantastic presentation of Wyatt as a star, Corbin & Styles were the other MVPs of this bout as they did their performances in the best way possible. Kudos to the other three for their great showings too. Wyatt winning was something that I truly never saw it coming but had Cena's reign been a bit more significant with Cena facing Orton & Wyatt at WrestleMania & had this crowning happened there, it would've been even more memorable. Otherwise of that minor gripe, this was a fantabulous match in terms of wrestling as well as booking standpoints. 4.75 out of 5 stars!"

It was a great spectacle made in WWE that only they have the secret to and that's how we'd like to see the Chamber bouts booked every year, with logical eliminations, great action and a happy ending that was here one of the most memorable moments of all of 2017 with Bray Wyatt's magical victory. It's always hard to have to describe a match of this stipulation because there's too much to say, all I want to say is that it couldn't have been better and they all performed very well. A real action-packed thirty-five minute match with excellent booking and great wrestling in front of a red hot crowd, surely one of my favourite Chamber matches."

Every single wrestler in this match had their story told, with every single wrestler in this match having moments at which they were the star of this show. For instance, Baron Corbin looked more menacing than he ever had and The Miz more cowardly. What makes this match so special is how damn good the final few minutes were. Bray Wyatt having to go up against the top two wrestlers in the company at that time, AJ Styles and John Cena, in consecutive order to pursue the WWE Championship was incredible. And the sequences between those wrestlers were outstanding, including the counter of the Phenomenal Forearm fantastic. One of the best matches of 2017. 4.5 stars, 9 out of 10."

The beginning stuff with Cena/Styles/Ambrose was very spotty but i enjoyed it. Corbin gave a very good performance once he came in. Miz had some really funny reactions and did his Daniel Bryan shtick well. Wyatt looked like a star here. I loved how they booked him to pin both Cena and Styles. Such a shame his title reign was wasted. Styles was probably the MVP of the match. Loved his selling and offense. The real flaw of the match is the usual Elimination Chamber trope where a couple guys lay on the outside of the ring for WAY too long while two guys fight inside the ring. Nonetheless this was pretty impressive. Good booking, good wrestling and some solid nearfalls. ****"

The match is merely very good for the first half or so, but around when Corbin gets eliminated, the match really starts to pick up, and the final three sequence between Wyatt, Styles and Cena is still a sight to behold. Wyatt? s win was absolutely perfect, and despite the lacking aftermath, I can? t deny that his win is amazing to rewatch to this day. I wish Chamber matches could be as well booked as this one."

The only one who really showed any personality was Miz, and he was eliminated after approximately one move. Ambrose showed a little too, finding interesting stuff to do using the new chamber structure, but of course he was eliminated early on as well. I think in the end the upgrades to the chamber itself were done to allow the guys to work and do spots easier, which showed greatly though the match, and made it safer overall. I liked Corbin in the match, and am curious for a supposed Ambrose/Corbin feud. Styles bumped like a madman and looked like the best dude in this match (to nobodies surprise), and Miz's performance (outside of his Bryan impersonation) was funny as hell. Overall though, they really made Wyatt out to look legit, pinning both Styles and Cena, and I thought this was pretty great. ****1/2"

We all knew who would win, but after so much time and many lost occasions it wasn't still 100% sure until it happened. The momentum kept going with Dean coming in and there was some nice callback spots to the three men's match from No Mercy. The match kept going with Bray and Corbin coming in and cleaning house, but unfortunately Corbin was eliminated early to set up Corbin/Dean at WM; Corbin looked strong in defeat though. Finally Miz came out and while he only had a few minutes to get his stuff in, he certainly delivered with his shtick of stealing Daniel Bryan's moveset, then was quickly eliminated. It came down to the final three who tore it up together and in shocking fashion, Bray eliminated Cena and then finally AJ clean to finally get his first championship win in dominant fashion. Everybody played their role well, and the new Chamber allowed for way better visibility and much cooler spots and setups. Cena & Styles had a great opening sequence reminiscent of their previous matches, and Ambrose entering made the next few minutes feel like No Mercy's title match. AJ's use of the Chamber here was awesome, from climbing on it to facing off with Dean on the pod next to the Plexiglas. Bray and Corbin both added to the match when they entered, and Miz played his role excellently despite being in the match the shortest time. Feuds between Corbin/Ambrose and Cena/Miz were set up by eliminations, and the final 3 was good. However, once Bray surprisingly pinned Cena, that's when it started to REALLY get good. AJ & Bray put on an awesome segment here, with great pacing, tension, and reversals. They made each other look great, and the finish put over Bray really hard. I cannot believe that they finally invested in Wyatt as a main event guy going into Wrestlemania, this is just incredible. This match was awesome, but Bray winning it just puts over the top for me. He deserves it so much for how good he is at what he does. Terrific match, perfect result. ****1/4"
