[7.0] "[3.5*] What an awesome main event, such an improvement from that embarrassing battle royal that we unfortunately had last week. The people expecting the real Rainmaker Kazuchika Okada in the fckin AEW Dynamite is just nuts lol. Gedo would not even allow him to do that. We got the classic tag-team match Okada which is already insane and perfect for weekly tv. Claudio Castagnoli stole the show, he was the best performer in-ring wise and looked like a beast, but the moment with the most aura was when we had Okada and Bryan sharing the ring, so so special. I hope we get the rematch on WrestleKingdom. I loved it."
[8.0] "This was a fun main event. Cassidy was the legal man for CHAOS for most of the match building anticipation for the confrontation between Okada and Danielson. When the two finally did, it was awesome and Claudio pinned Cassidy to win"
[8.0] "A really fun Tag Match for the main event here. It was especially cool to see Okada on Dynamite and I think he was presented well. Cassidy was legal for the majority of the match, but that was what I expected. I enjoyed the interactions between Okada and Danielson, but I also think Cassidy and Castagnoli proved to have some very nice chemistry together here as well. Hopefully their International Title Match proves that as well."
[8.0] "Fun match. Okada v Danielson is a fun rivalry. Didn't like hearing that Danielson did this one injured to build a story. The action in this match was great as expected with these 4 men. Wasn't the biggest fan of the finish but didn't ruin the match for me"
[8.0] "Sehr gutes Match.Das war eine richtig spaßige Nummer, alle vier sind gut aufgelegt und die Matchstory schreibt sich von selbst und gerade Orange und Claudio harmonieren richig toll miteinander, dazu die Rainmakerpose mit Umarmung, das fand ich richitg witzig. ****"
[8.0] "This was super fun, even if Okada did the least interesting wrestling in the match. I'm skeptical of its placement on the card (why not Juice/MJF, something that actually had a week-to-week story behind it? ) but the crowd was all over this live. Danielson is in top form, and it's terrible to hear that he worked this injured later down the line. Okada and Danielson facing off got everyone in my section on their feet. Class wrestling from everyone involved throughout, though slightly hurt by the abrupt finish. I'm still not entirely sure what happened there, but Claudio putting away OC as quick as he did didn't feel right."
[8.0] "Okada returns to AEW! This was a fun continuation of the Danielson and Okada rivalry which now includes TWO injuries to Danielson. I couldn't tell what did it in the match but the ending was weird and unfortunately it does look like he's sidelined. The match was cool though and Claudio was my personal highlight."
[9.0] "This was a super solid main event that worked for me and kept me engaged. Claudio is actually just an athletic wrestling machine and Bryan and Cassidy have their first ever encounter in the ring that personally is something I've been wanting to see. BCC played heel and worked over OC before Okada finally got the tag and so did Bryan at the same time leading to their second ever face off and exchanged blows. Bryan brought the intensity and sold the story of wanting to injure Okada for breaking his arm. They picked up the pace, didn't hold back, and put on an incredible sequence with Okada repeatedly trying to hit the Rainmaker and failing before an Orange Punch into the Rainmaker on Bryan. The ending came with Claudio hitting a perfect springboard european uppercut on Okada and a Swiss death to OC for the win. Beautiful Dynamite main event utilizing the talent they have on the roster and also acknowledging the NJPW faction of Chaos with the stories of Bryan/Okada and Mox/Cassidy overlapping."
[10.0] "Ah, what a tremendous collection of legendary talents. Also Okada is there. Ok I kid, I liked Okada back in the day, but I admit these days I find him rather bland. He did fine here though, some of his interactions with Bryan made him show a little more fire than usual, and Orange coming in for a hug on the rainmaker pose made me laugh out loud. Truly though, whenever Orange was in there with either Claudio or Danielson the match was truly rocking, those are two singles matches I'd love to see (and looks like I'll get my wish shortly with Claudio). Interesting as well that, although technically now Bryan has defeated Okada twice, both times Bryan has come away worse off, this time seemingly selling some sort of eye or face issue. I've no doubt they will wrestle again to make up for the unfortunate asterisk in their previous match, and I'll be interested to see it because even as an Okada doubted, I think Danielson can get the best out of almost anybody in wrestling. Top notch main event for a so-so show."
[8.0] "2023 - I am surprised Dave went so low on this. I thought this was great. Orange Cassidy is one of the best babyfaces and sellers in the world. Claudio is a tremendous base, these two have excellent chemistry with Okada and Danielson mixing in very well too, teasing and calling back to a lot of things. Some nice power spots from Claudio, Cassidy is exceptional at receiving those. ****1/4"
[8.0] "Danielson not taking any of Cassidy's shit at the start, and immediately started kicking his ass which ruled. The Claudio/Cassidy dynamic throughout the match was awesome because it mainly focused on making Claudio's strength being highlighted. Claudio/Okada interactions were the least interesting to me, but it was still cool seeing those two interacting at least. The Bryan/Okada bit got the longest focus of the match, and I thought it was the best thing about the whole match. They kept this thing hot from start to finish, and also kept the Dragon undefeated vs Okada. This was a good piece of business.****"
[9.0] "The second half of this match was some of the best and most enjoyable wreslting I've seen all year, the crowd was going nuts and so do I. Okada and Danielson finally meet again and it was fabulous as we expected but Claudio and Orange lowkey stole the show here with some amazing lucha. The rainmaker pose followed by the best friends hug was great, the orange punch rainmaker combo was great, these mind blowing uppercuts by Claudio to end the match were great... It was an amazing match with 4 of the best wrestlers in the world and a red hot crowd. Plus I love the upset finish"
[8.0] "Great match, but the ending felt really strange. The match overall was very entertaining, as most Okada matches are. It was awesome to see the Rainmaker on Dynamite, and seeing him and Orange hug was such a simple but sweet thing for me. Overall a great match, hope they team up again in the future."
[7.0] "I felt it was a very good main event for a Dynamite. It's always fun when you get the caliber of wrestlers in this match. It was a great introduction on Dynamite for Okada, and overall I felt it was very solid. The ending was somewhat weird, but the match was very sound."
[6.0] "Regarding the logic of scheduling this fight, I would like to remain silent, but I wont. When last week's Collision came off the air, BCC left the ring in full force, and Orange entered his match at Best of the Belts and there he crossed paths with Moxley, where he made contact with him. But Claudio and Brian quickly began to separate them and pull Mox away. Then in the interview, Cassady says that if Bryan and Castagnoli want to fight, then I will bring Okada to Dynamite. Logics? Left the chat. And here BCC, who relatively recently became faces, are leading the match as heels. For what? Well, for Okada to be on Dynamite and to bring him together with Danielson. And yes, the fights with Brian were good, and the teaser for their next solo album was obvious. The match itself was good in parts. Danielson and Okada's segment was good, then Castagnoli and Cassady were also good. But in general, nothing interesting was shown to us in 16 minutes. The pace was average and only the two above-mentioned segments were interesting. You probably expect more from such a large, albeit random, sign."
[8.0] "Great match: Okada and Danielson's first meeting since Forbidden Door was a great moment and their exchanges were simply magnificent. Castagnoli and Cassidy has also a great chemistry. The crowd was hot for this and the action was intense, hard-htting and fun with an exciting closing stretch. The post-match angle was kinda strange but I think it will lead towards something, maybe Okada vs. Danielson II. 8/10 - 4*/5*"
[10.0] "Awesome match with a great crowd. A very physical encounter with great chemistry throughout. A spectacular performance overall. Claudio and Cassidy had some of the smoothest wrestling you'll see. Great displays of timing and psychology here. The finish was so good and kept you on the edge of your seat."
[8.0] "8.5 - Two main factors to this - the already legendary rivalry between Okada and Danielson, and the excellent in-ring chemistry between OC and Claudio. Okada and Claudio also worked well together. Glad to see there'll be more coming out of this match, with Claudio getting an International Championship match."
[8.0] "Claudio Castagnoli, my goodness. What a fucking stud. This was a super fun big time 2-on-2 tv main event. Cassidy had great interactions with both Danielson & especially Castagnoli, and the continuity of Dragon vs. Rainmaker was simply electric. Great fun!"
[7.0] "Somewhat mixed match. The Claudio/Orange moments were the best part of the match and the most unpredictable. Claudio did most of the heavy lifting (literally and figuratively) in this, and I was both surprised and pleased to have a clean ending where he swings Orange into oblivion and eventually gets the win. The crowd popped loudest for Bryan and Okada facing off again, but most of their exchanges felt tepid. The ending where Bryan is "hurt" was also very odd, because the locker room clears of the respective factions, but literally nothing happens and there are 25 people just loitering in the ring as the episode ends."
[8.0] "Exactly what this needed to be. Four excellent workers doing a very hectic but well-paced tag where multiple singles matches are intertwined (past and future). Claudio vs OC had tons of excellent strength moments, Okada vs Claudio was a show of strength, OC vs Danielson showed a great deal of chemistry in a small amount of time, and Danielson vs Okada was just more of their awesome singles match. The Orange Punch to Rainmaker combo and Orange Punch catch into Giant Swing were incredible, and this both sets up Claudio vs OC for the International Title and keeps Danielson undefeated against Okada in a roundabout way so that their next clash (in the Dome? ) will have big personal stakes for Okada. ****"
[9.0] "Solid main event, Okada and BD sharing a ring will always bring hype, Claudio stole the show, he should win the International Title someday, this match possibly sets up Okada vs Danielson II at the tokyo dome, Okada needs to ne on AEW more often, and Claudio is definetly ready for the G1"
[6.0] "Yet another Okada x Danielson match, yet another letdown, perfectly fine TV main event with a flatter than flat ending post match bollocks, very cool to see Okada, Orange did his usual great stuff, Claudio is an amazing base and Danielson is Danielson, but we're back to murky waters of are the BCC face or heels, when fans just want to enjoy Danielson's last run, another rushed match as I assume stuff went over time and really you didnt even need to do the ROH trios title on TV, but cool, whatever man, perfectly fine but I don't care."
