[10.0] "This is one of my favorite match of all time, a tremendously outstanding match which gets overlooked for some damn reason, Lyra Valkyria is such a star in the making, her performance and selling was top notch in this match and Becky was great as usual, Becky really deserves alot more credit than she gets"
[7.0] "7, 5. It grew a lot towards the end. I couldn't stand Becky calling the spots in a so much obvious way. Loved Lyra's selling, especially when she received the first of the two Man Handle Slams."
[4.0] "The match started real slow and strike were off.I think the crowd carried this match.It was alright match and I seen way better this year conmpared to women matches.I think Becky v Tiffany on NXT for example was way better with the same crowd.Still it was right result in the end.Both women have had better matches in their career and this one isn't one of them not close The crowd helps this match from being worst imo.Very sloppy and it felt like they weren't on the same page at times during the match."
[5.0] "I was dissapointed in the match tbh...I expected better because I like Lyra and know how good she is in the ring and Becky has had some great matches recently.Let me start with the amazing which was the crowd wow which stops it from being lower for me.The in ring for the first 9-10 minutes was bad.The strikes seemed soft and a good amount times I can see them communicating throughout the match, I assume that was the camera man's fault because I don't remember ever seeing it that much. There was some good stuff towards the final stretch of the match and I love the result.The finish was terrible because that finish seemed out of nowhere I would have liked it to be a clean finish.I still think Becky had a good reign for 40 days she was champion."
[7.0] "All right, let's see what you got Lyra. Becky talking all the way through this, not even bothering to cover her mouth. She's usually bad about this, but this is probably the worst I've ever seen her with this; it's obvious spot after spot after spot in this match. Lyra's strikes aren't looking quite as good as Becky's. There are some nice sequences in this though. This develops into a pretty good match, with a decent comeback. But Becky sure is running her mouth literally every spot in this, I have to mention it again because it was so brazen. Pretty good TV match."
[10.0] "Becky Lynch's first and only reign as NXT Women's Champion, Lyra Valkyria deserved so much after becoming one of the more hottest new young acts in the women's division and what we got here is a really fantastic match that told a brilliant fan vs hero story match and their respect after the match was the cherry on top, great way to end Becky's title reign, Lyra truly deserved this big win. I love this match both as a wrestling fan an Irishman myself."
[9.0] "This was an amazing match. Great show of technical ability and strikes. They have good chemistry together. Lyra is the ultimate underdog and Becky is still one of the best wrestlers ever."
[6.0] "Not the biggest fan of NXT in general but this was pretty good. Becky Lynch is a master at storytelling. A really mechanical wrestler who isn't the most athletic but a great base for younger wrestlers and knows how to dictate the pace by slowing things down. This was a really scrappy bout which really sold the idea of these two as equals. There weren't many set ups and there was an overall sense of urgency is walking out as winner. This made Lyra and the eventual main roster win will put her over as a proper main event star. Heres to hoping we don't have to wait too long for that."
[9.0] "This was a really good match for the nxt women's championship , Lyra looked really good in this match and had some solid strokes , Becky carried the flow as always , and yet again put on another fantastic match , it's kind of like Becky doesn't miss , she had a great match with tegan , than indi , and now Lyra . The Lyra and Indi match are on the same level , regardless she doesn't miss which showed in this match. Eventually when Lyra goes to the main roster , I would love for them to run it back , really good match and a well deserved win for Lyra , which was kind of shocking."
[7.0] "Lyra deserved this win after grinding so hard here & in the UK, and to endorse her reign by defeating one of the best in Becky is a true gift. There were times when Becky looked dominant while Lyra scratched & clawed as the underdog, but she suited that role very well. The excitement after the kick out of the Manhandle Slam was spiked up and I felt that it was well capitalized by a shocking finish. 3.5 out of 5 stars!"
[10.0] "this is a terrifically focused match, one on one with no interference, a clear story coming in and a fantastic story unfolding in the ring. an absolutely star-making event where i went in just expecting a good contest, but got much more than that. if you know the match length and the result going in, it's maybe not quite as stunning, but as it played out, this was my favorite match of the entire year."
[8.0] "This was a really good match. The two women went back and fourth and the match started slow and sped up as it went along. Lyra winning was the right choice and Becky did really good putting Valkyria over big time."
[9.0] "I like that this match looked like a struggle all the way through, between two all arounding brawlers, some European wrasslin' action. Becky Lynch adds a charismatic atmosphere to all of her matches and she's one of the best workers in the division. She made Lyra Valkyria here where she had a star making performance. The finish to this match was excellent, with Lyra kicking out of one Manhandle slam and then reversing another Manhandle slam into a flash pin. That was an unexpected finish and it sets this up as a classic in the NXT era."
[6.0] "Valkyria was ready to have individual performance that would get her over with NXT crowd and make her look like she belonged (maybe too ready based on some of her awful looking offense here and there and certain DDT sell that looked hilarious), but she wasn't ready to win - she's a natural underdog babyface and is good at drawing sympathy, but her win looked and felt unearned simply she doesn't have enough convincing offense. Middle portion of the match had enough positives (while there were plenty of negatives) to make me say that it was a match that's worth your time, but not much more than that. Lynch was never a high-floor wrestler in the ring, so her level effort was telling that this match was important for her."
[9.0] "Becky Lynch deserves credit, she actually made more defenses in her short reign than any other current champion. Moreover, it brought attention to the women's division, and provided opportunities and a needed boost for girls whose future seemed uncertain. And now the time has come to pass the torch into the hands of a new rising star from Ireland - Lyra Valkyria. And they showed a truly exciting and unpredictable match. I've been rooting for Lyra since she first appeared on NXT UK. She is an incredibly talented performer and I am very happy for her. ****3/4"
[7.0] "I am not the biggest fan of Lyra, and I did not expect much out of this match, and the first half of it was proving that i was right to watch it with low expectations. But holy shit, they decided to REALLY knock it up a notch on the second half, and I gotta admit it was really fun, especially in the last 4-5 minutes. If they kept that same pace for a bigger portion of the match, we could have had one of the best women matches in the 2.0 era. Honestly i think giving Lyra the title was not a great idea, but I guess it was bound to happen sooner than later. Also seeing Lyra kick out from the MOST WICKED AND HARDCORE ManHandle slam Becky ever pulled off made me go absolutely bonkers. 7/10"
[4.0] "Quite a few botchess, a very monotonous technique, fromm timme to time the intennsity was lowwered or the blows and attacks had no lettthality at all, Becky Lynch definitely no longer gives matches like before, I am happy for Lyra that she won, this match was more or less adequate, adequate fffor my taste, good executions and some good rhythm. I hope it is not a transsition reign so that then Lyra Valkyrie is dethroned by former AEW champion Jade Cargill, which coming from WWE, would not surprise me."
[8.0] "I thought that the first few minutes or so for Lyra was rough, as she was hesitant to do stuff but she got much better as the much went on and this turned out to be really good. They had an energetic back and forth match all the way, and the big stuff at the end ended up really hitting, especially Lyra kicking out of the manhandle slam. Becky a little bit after would end up going for another manhandle slam, but Lyra would end up countering it into a pin and winning the match.***3/4"
[8.0] "A good main event for the show that does a good job of building a new star in Valkyria. I'm really glad Valkyria won clean, even if it was with a surprise pin. This was a fun title run for Lynch and I think she really elevated everyone she worked with, which is what I believe one of the goals of this was."
[8.0] "Very good match and correct ending of Becky's NXT title reign. Perhaps Valkyria was too much in underdog mod here and I would have liked some offence more and especially a strong finish. Anyway despite this didn't happen this is still a star making by Lyria and probably the best way to close the show. ****1/4"
[5.0] "This wasn't that great at all. There was a lot of hesitation while they tried to remember what they were supposed to be doing next and the action was a frenetic back & forth blur where nothing was given the chance to sink in or breathe. NXT crowd comes across like a part of the performance with its robotic cult chanting. And why did they keep cutting to "a bar in the United Kingdom" when neither woman is from there? **1/2"
[8.0] "Really good main event for the NXT Women's Title. Unlike some of the matches Becky Lynch had in defending the title, this one felt like it had a real build with an actual story with Lyra Valkyria wanting to be on the level of the woman she's looked up. The match played into that with how Lyra would try to one up Becky and Becky would raise the bar. Lyra kicking out of the Manhandle Slam was when the momentum shifted. Becky went for it again, but was countered into a pin and Lyra is the new champion. The title change is surprising, but it was to the right opponent considering the connection they have. Becky respectfully handed over the belt and hugged Lyra. This was a nice passing of the torch moment that gives Lyra a boost in her career, hopefully she can continue to improve and become a bigger star from here. 8/10"
[8.0] "Shame Beckys NXT title run has to end but Im glad she went out in a blaze of glory. A scrappy match between two fierce, driven women with something to prove. Lyra had so many good spots here, with a couple brutal looking kicks and some great pin reversals. Listening to the Lyra chants get increasingly louder as the match went on was so fun, I cant wait for her to become more over than she already is."
[6.0] "This was a very scrappy match. Seemed very disjointed early on with some poor footwork and miscues here and there. Becky is a star but not a great athlete, so in non-gimmicked matches it can get kinda rough. Lyra is leagues ahead of her in that regard but not a star (yet) and so this title change seemed a little unearned to me but I'm hoping she gets to where she needs to be with this run. That being said, the Manhandle slam looked nasty and the kickout was surprising, as was the counter that got Lyra the win, which looked great."
[8.0] "Really good match. Crowd tried to hard to make chants the whole way through and I think didnt let the match breathe because of it. Great result, semi shocking too. I have no idea what Lyra's gimmick really is, she's good but that part is missing to me, so I wasnt sure if they'd go in here. Glad Becky lost in the process of making someone over dropping to Tiffany again who they dont have to try to make at this point. Great showing for the future of women's wrestling for WWE."
[9.0] "Great match here between Becky and Lyra and a great way to cap off Beckys NXT title reign. A match reminiscent in ways of Sasha/Becky at Takeover: Unstoppable years ago (only with a title change, ) a breakout performance for Lyra and a great showing from Becky. Crowd was very split and into both competitors. I liked the ways that Lyra had Becky scouted for a lot of her moveset which made sense with how much of a fan of Beckys Lyra said to be. The way Lyra won was a good way to give her a win while also protecting Becky in defeat. Beckys reign while short definitely got more eyes on the product and helped further establish both Tiffany and Lyra in the process. The significance of the moment helps raise the rate by for me as well considering Lyra just went toe to toe very well with the first woman to be in the main event of Wrestlemania and managed to defeat her in her first try. 8.5-9."
[7.0] "And it was great. I liked the buildup to the fight. I believe that this is exactly how a student should be led into a duel against a teacher. In addition, in three weeks they managed to create the ambiance of a really big event, which, by the way, should have given rise to the idea of the result. The match itself matched the plot. Lyra starts right off the bat and puts pressure on Becky with her pressure, which the champion did not expect. Then Lynch began to answer, but Valkyrie answered in kind. She worked on the principle: whatever you do, I will do better. And it looked impressive in the fight, because the closer to the climax, the more Becky had to come up with some moves that were atypical for her. The tension at the end was so great that you could cut the air with a knife. And how appropriate the nirfols were here, which made you take your head in your hands. But the ending itself confused me, because such epics should not end with a winding down. I was just interested in seeing what they would come up with next, and then there was a sudden ending. You can talk for a long time about the correctness of the decision to remove the title from Becky, but the moment itself was implemented as correctly as possible. I think that it was necessary to do this later, because Lynch could have squeezed out of the Rhine and there were preconditions there. And the same story with Lyra could have been done on PLE and at the same time preparing the Valkyrie character for this, but it happened too suddenly. And yet, I am sure of one thing for sure - it was Lyra who should have taken the title from Becky and no one else."
[9.0] "Becky Lynch Has Done It Again This Match Got Under Way Quick with the crowd strongly behind the MAN but as the match went on Lyra picked up steam and started gaining momentum on her mentor you can tell Lyra Study a lot of game film because as the match went longer she had a answer for almost all Becky moves and I sense the crowd pick up on it and started rounding support for a BIG title turn , LYRA VALKYRIA more than proved her own and wasn't timid in a BIG situation in the end protege got one Up on the Mentor to become the NEWW NXT WOMENS CHAMP and a true passing of the torch moment Becky Lynch did alot in a short time as NXT Womens Champ helping evaluate the mid card scene on both RAW and NXT."
[10.0] "Becky Lynch proves once again why she is one of the best women wrestlers in the world, Becky just like she did to Tiffany gave Lyra the best match of her career, Lyra also did a great performance she didn't look out of place, The ending with the false finishes was great when Becky did The Manhandle slam I thought the match was over, Having Lyra beating Becky clean was a good choice, I hope Lyra reign gets good booking. I like that the crowd was hot from start to finish, Becky looking at Jade before giving Lyra the title was interesting"
[7.0] "I really liked the way it ended with the false finishes, and I think it was a good decision for Lyra to be the one to end Becky's reign. Overall I think it was a good title match, but I have to say that the beginning of the match seemed a little slower than usual, it's as if it was hard for them to get into rhythm. I really like the opportunity they have given to Lyra Valkyrie, but I fear that it will happen like with Tiffany and that it will be too early, it seems to me that they have what it takes to be a good champion, but I don't know if both in ring and on the mic is polished enough."
[9.0] "That match was amazing. It started very strong with a great story of Valkyria having answers to every of Lynch's moves and often using Becky's moves as an aswer. Then Becky had to find new moves to try to beat Lyra (like that 3rd rope stunner). Lyra had also a ton of great offences, especially great dropkicks. The finish is amazing : Lyra kick out of the Manhandle slam with an incredible selling from Becky to then counter another Manhandle slam to roll her up for the win. A great finsih and a great win to put Lyra's over. Hope, WWE don't botch that reign for her, and have a much better booking for Becky than she had for a year before that reign. 9/10."
