[6.0] "Tbh I actually think the main problem with this was the lack of time. We needed more than 5 mins of this. Vamp and Ric did their thing in the ring and Lex and Sting had one of the funniest brawls I've ever seen. Luger takes a tray from this waiter to hit Sting with and then shoves the waiter into the pool for no reason LOL. Sting gave Lex a piledriver in the water in total darkness for the win. I would've given this higher rating if it got more time. Criminally short but a lot of fun"
[9.0] "It's that weird period between Russo runs where he's not around to actively ruin everything but his influence still hangs over the show, hence this barely getting any time because longer matches are verboten, but honestly this is one case where they probably didn't need any more time than they had. Flair and Vampiro have an unremarkable fight in the ring while Sting and Luger have one of the most fun interactions of the year, fighting in the pool and even on the beach. Gotta be the only match ever to feature a 3 count under 6 inches of ocean water."
[6.0] "God forbid they give em more than 6 minutes at any point during this build. This match was still very cool in a unique venue. Lex got dumped into the pool by Sting. They went all over really, including the beach. Both were covered in food and sand. Haha Lex again dumped into ocean and Sting pinned him in the water. Very fun."
[8.0] "This match is in two very distinct parts after a quick opening brawl. Vampiro & Flair work a really standard but solid pro wrestling match in the middle of the ring with mat wrestling, submissions, sunset flips, etc. while Sting & Luger are doing one of the wildest walk-and-brawls you'll see in terms of setpieces. Back body drop into the pool (which Luger pushes a waiter into later), salsa and queso, surfboards, a floaty ring, and ultimately one of the coolest finishes of Sting's career: a piledriver in the OCEAN while he pins Luger underwater (the splashes of each count were great too). I'm sure anybody only watching Vampiro vs Flair would've been really confused, but as a TV match this ruled. ***3/4+"
[7.0] "This was one of the most fun walk and brawls I've ever seen that perfectly took advantage of the unique arena the show took place in. Oh and Vampiro and Flair were also there I guess."
[8.0] "The match didn't excel in the ring but in its innovative use of the Spring Break festive setting, transitioning the action from the party atmosphere directly to the seaside. Sting and Luger fought their way to the beach and ultimately battled among the waves, creating a uniquely entertaining and memorable brawl that felt genuinely fun and spontaneous. This underappreciated moment capitalized on its unique environment, delivering a creative and exhilarating wrestling experience that set it apart from typical wrestling fare."
