Daisuke Sekimoto & Yuji Okabayashi vs. Kohei Sato & Shuji Ishikawa

[10.0] "EPIC match, this was a battle for the ages, Strong BJ and Twin Towers did a great job pacing this match while having some the stiffest and most wicked looking strikes in this exchange. Kohei Sato was amazing with his strikes especially his forearm strikes to the back of Seki, it had alot of impact behind it, Shuji Ishikawa what else i can i say that he was a literal demon in this fucked up match, Okaabayashi was stellar as always giving life and grit in this, But man Sekimoto was very very GREAT, seeing him bloody up after taking a headbutt and throwing a huge lariat to Shuji was amazing and possibly iconic and ending it off Yelling and delivering his deadlift german to Ishikawa, This is possibly their best match against each other, and i don't think that'll be changing for me. *****"

[9.0] "A truly EPIC match. Big thanks to the Twin Towers and Strong BJ. A festival of stiff action, with a perfectly managed pace, slow at the start then exploding by the end. When it's done right, it always hits the mark. Kohei Sato deciding to wrestle like that, what an incredible performer wow. Big Shuji was amazing, Okabayashi was excellent, and Sekimoto... unreal what he delivered that day. The image of him covered in blood is just iconic. When all four participants are that good, you're bound to get something truly special."

[9.0] "Very reminiscent of Hansen/Gordy vs Tenryu/Kawada, these four men absolutely tore the house down in a stiff, brilliantly paced affair that you come to expect from Big Japan. Twin Towers dominate with Strong BJ doing absolutely anything they can to survive, before a final rally manages to get them the win - the image of a bloody Sekimoto yelling before delivering a German to Ishikawa is absolutely amazing. Fantastic stuff. (****1/2)"

[10.0] "Arguably the best Twin Towers vs Strong BJ match to date. This was absolutely crazy towards the end. The match started off slower than usual, but that would be fine as the craziness later on would be worth the slow build. Maybe there were a bit too many kick outs towards the end, but I can't complain when there is an amazing spectacle going on in the ring with four behemoths literally killing each other. The amazing visual of Sekimoto deadlifting Shuji with both of their faces having blood pour down because of a vicious headbutt is just a sight to behold. This was only just the beginning of the year as well, ****3/4."

[9.0] "What you expect, super strong hitting with lots of extremely powerful moves. Would have liked it even more without those nasty headbutts, but still in terms of offense this is very top notch and a great example of the style. Okabayashi and Ishikawa were the standouts. Couldn’t believe how bloody Sekimoto got at the end!"

[8.0] "This match went from a 7 to an 8 within the final 10-15 seconds. Seeing Sekimoto get hardway color from a running headbutt leading to the win elevated it."

[9.0] "What a match! The first great tag match of 2017 so far. As you'd expect these guys beat the living hell out of one another, but this bout actually told a great story of Sekimoto being a helluva underdog, Okabayashi as the hot fip, and Sato & Ishikawa were just great as the beaters. Ishikawa busting Sekimoto open with that headbutt, only for Sekimoto to finally end the match and finally win the tag titles for his team was awesome. Great match, if you're into the hoss style of wrestling. (****1/4)"

[9.0] "Very good match , Started a little slow but towards the end it was very entertaining and unpredictable of who was going to win. Until now this is the best tag team match of 2017. ****1/4"

[10.0] "BJW's first 2017 MOTYC, likely of many. This match was just like almost every Strong BJ/Twin Towers match you've seen, and it was just as awesome as each of them. Shuji is a giant, Sato hits like a sack of bricks, Okabayashi is a dynamo, and Sekimoto has incredible strength (physically and mentally). Sekimoto being beat down over and over again as he reaches out to Yuji (one of the best hot tags in the business right now) was really great stuff, and Shuji's headbutts are not just over as fuck with Korakuen but deadly; Daisuke is busted open hardway by one of them. Strong BJ's friendship is what motivates Sekimoto to keep going as the crimson mask forms on his face, and after a long war of big men slamming into each other and throwing one another around (the double German spot with Strong BJ and Shuji is a sight to behold), Sekimoto finally hits that final deadlift German suplex for the 3-count, and Korakuen ERUPTS. Fantastic stuff here, with Sekimoto becoming a double champion in BJW. This is my kind of wrestling, right here. ****1/2"

[10.0] "Strong BJ vs Twin Towers round 123212414. This never gets boring, I could watch those 4 beat the living shit out of each other every day. This ruled, all 4 guys were outstanding, everyone brought something different to the table, the closing stretch was incredible and Big Dawg Shuji busting Sekimoto's forehead with that Headbutt added a lot to an already awesome match. And yeah, the Korakuen Hall crowd was amazing as usual. An early MOTYC from Big Japan. **** 1/2."

[8.0] "This ruled. Borderline great tag match to start off the year - it told a great story of Daisuke overcoming the odds - he was one helluva underdog here. He took quite a beating, and he was really damn good at taking that beating, and once he made his comeback - it was amazing. They built it up so well. ***3/4"
