[8.0] "Terrific fight. Back when the tag belts were treated as a big deal. This was chaotic, messy, even sloppy at times, but it all worked in the nature of the story they were telling here between 4 comrades who were cordial with another (other than Jey and Kevin but there wasn't as much animosity like there was in the past). The crowd was hot for this and it led to a sick finish with Cody and Jey retaining. Tag team wrestling is pretty cool sometimes. ****"

[8.0] "This match was fine , but the ending looked really dangerous , Cody and Jey have a cool finisher , but Cody lands on his neck and it makes me worried whenever he does it . This match was really good actually , it was also cool to see Cody do a superkick , Sami and Jey have good chemistry and worked well whenever they were in the ring with each other . Sami and Kevin are fantastic , and this was a really good choice for a first defence for Cody and Jey . Cody vs Jey would be a good match for the world title down the line , maybe when Cody dethrones Roman , Jey is really entertaining."

[7.0] "Considering the four men in the ring, I was expecting an all-out brawl like they suggested at the starting moments of the match. The match was good, besides Kevin and Jey spamming infinite superkicks. The tensions between Kevin and Jey, growing large and eventually getting Cody and Sami to tear each other apart was a very good storytelling, but it fell apart as time passed by. They couldn't keep it constant, that's the main problem of the match. I liked the post match, with Kevin showing respect to Jey after a well deserved victory, closing all open fronts before his move to SmackDown. (*** 1/2)"

The rest of the match was a lot of no selling and super kicks which was definitely overused and got repetitive. Action between Sami and Cody was the highlight."

[8.0] "This was an interesting match due to the fact it was two babyface teams, and the whole dynamic with Jey/KO. They start it off with some nice wrestling, especially between Cody/Sami, I wish those two interacted more in this match, but when Kevin Owens got involved this turned into more of a brawl and the friendly manner that this match was wrestled in was gone. After this they had a fast paced back and forth tag match with each team getting some shine, until Cody/Jey won the match.***3/4"

The early 'out of control' fisticuffs felt forced & didn't generate much heat. Cody's exchanges with Sami were super slick and the highlight of the bout. Jey Uso's post-hot tag work was atrocious, the absolute drizzling shits ***"

[7.0] "Good, but could have been better given the talent involved. I appreciate the different matchup, and there were parts of this that I liked, like the Cody/Jey cutter finish and the two brawls, but the superkick exchange between Owens and Uso was too much, and Sami/Cody's sections really outshined them. I think the commercial breaks might have killed some of the momentum here because unlike the standard Judgement Day main event where you know what all the beats are at this point, this probably needed to be seen in full to get a comprehensive view of the match quality. I doubt they'll run it back anytime soon, if ever, so I'll just appreciate that it happened in the first place."

Jey and Cody winning the tag titles was an unintentional shot to Sami and KO especially KO who has had beef with Jey since Jey came back, all the while two of his closest friends are on Jey's side and not his. Always knew this was gonna happen but I was waiting for it to happen on a ppv or special episode or something but to do it right on RAW, that was a treat but we might not have gotten the best they could give. Still, this was a fun match, lots of drama, tension, the tease of it escalating out of control. I loved all four men and the tension between all of them. Good match, should have waited till ppv. ***3/4"

[8.0] "Really good main event for the tag team titles. Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes are definitely an odd couple, but they fit as champions. Going against another babyface team in Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn is at least something different. This was a very fun match, all the different exchanges were good. Owens having animosity toward Jey was an interesting story to tell throughout the match. Cody and Jey's double team finisher is cool and they retained the titles with it. The post-match with Owens finally trusting Jey was nicely done. 8/10"

I'm still not the biggest fan of Cody and Jey winning the titles from Judgment Day, but I can't really be THAT mad when the story they're getting here is good and the match is good."

KingsCrossing wrote on 10.10.2023:
[6.0] "The story with Jey Uso is interesting, but I thought this match was a bit disappointing. I think they have done very well establishing the differing dynamics between all four of these men, and that helped to keep the match engaging, and they did a decent enough job playing off all of these relationships during the match. I just didn't really find the action to be all that compelling. I think they could have done something a bit more creative. As it stands this felt pretty similar to a lot of other matches that we have seen on RAW this year."

[7.0] "It was a good main event. At first, the match had a flair of friendly competition, but by the middle it all went away and the guys forgot about it and started showing cool wrestling. I dont know if I liked this more than the fight with Fastlane, but it certainly wasnt worse. A pleasant main event, and the main thing is that we saw something new. This was the first team main event without Judge Day in a long time and it looked fresh."
Harisb wrote on 10.10.2023:
[9.0] "Kind of guessed why they took the titles off of Judgement Day since it felt repetitive having them in the main event on the weekly, but this as always was a great main event. Why fix that's something not broken, though yes, they need to develop the Tag Titles more booking wise, but never has the title felt more prestigious than being at the hands of Cody. This was a fairly excellent main event as what was to be expected."
SavageTheGOAT wrote on 10.10.2023:
"A very good match for a raw main event with a reasonable backstory and some related acts. Even the match was better than some of Fastlanes match. Abt the match it was different from some recent tag matches starting slowly with increasing speed during the match as well as some memorable moves make this match stand out"

[10.0] "Ah yes, the typical tag team match to main event RAW, while yes, this was again a very worked formula generating much interest and great wrestling as what is to be expected, this also breaks the Judgement Day Curse being in someway shape or form to be in the main event which got tiresome to some extent, at least with Cody/Jey there are some fresher ideas to go with it in the future. A great match to end a fun show."

[8.0] "A very good match in itself which is no surprise concerning the quality of these four wrestlers. I liked that they didn't started by a slow observation phase but that KO directly shown a lot of animosity toward Jey, which makes sense with the story they're telling. The Jey vs KO were clearly the high point of this match, especially the superkick duel. It's still strange though that they did give this match right away without any build-up nor announcement as it is quite a big match-up and one that could've used a bit more story going into it. 8/10."

[9.0] "For a match that was only announced and built over the night, this match used the history between these four characters and had a level of intensity that could make a viewer forget the non-existent build. The first several minutes of this match being nothing more than a long brawl between Jey and Kevin with Cody and Sami both trying to intervene felt right for all involved. The match was unpredictable and the wrestlers had very good chemistry. I personally am not a fan of the amount of superkicks in the match especially Kevin and Cody throwing superkicks in addition to Jey Uso but that is a minor nitpick in a very strong match. The after-match showing that Jey finally earned Kevin's respect was a great way to end the match and the episode."
