Alex Coughlin & Gabe Kidd vs. El Phantasmo & Hikuleo

[5.0] "this wasnt as good as the last 2 matches but was fine enough, Gabe is still a lil Green, same with Hikelou but ELP ad Coughlin look good but the match itself felt a little lacking"

[6.0] "Not a whole lot to this one unfortunately. The BC War Dogs guys were fine as the dominant heels and Hikuleo did a couple of powerslams. It was all quite inoffensive and watchable but just didn't particularly grab you at any point. Slightly strange for the War Dogs guys to lose when the faction seems hot but guess they need to give ELP and Hikuleo something to do. ***"

[6.0] "I had a lot of fun watching Hikuleo and ELP figure out their team dynamic as the match progressed. It was exciting each time they tried something and it was successful. I dont love that the last two teams that held these titles failed in their first defense, and as such wouldnt be opposed to this G.O.D. tandem holding on them for a little while. I do hope Coughlin and Kidd keep tagging as well, they have a good thing going."

[8.0] "Good match to crown our new champions, God bless El Phantasmo to be making a title reign that includes Hikuleo interesting. The ending was really cool and it made Coughlin look like a legit gladiator and general he and his partner look like pretty strong despite their defeat. Curious about what 'll happen at the BC Wardogs. ***3/4"

[5.0] "Gabe Kidd and Alex Coughlin are pretty good at being dangerous heels, although Gabe might be laying it on a bit too thick. ELP is a great babyface and his finishing splash was great. Hikuleo was just there and barely did anything, which might've improved the match. Skippable."

"Kidd is losing hair by the min and needs to get finasteride, minoxidil and/or a hair transplant. Its a cosmetic industry, what else can I say. Coughlin looking too much like a carnival strong man for me. I like seeing his quads and hamstrings but I think he needs knee pads. Hikuleo and ELP had cool chemistry during their entrance. Impressive, snug and powerful would describe opening minutes. Great doomsday device by war dogs with a unique setup. Early hot tags a bit flat for GOD. Kidd sells the knockout well. Great camerawork on the chokeslam and tope suicida. Wasnt feeling the title change. I think War Dogs really outshone GOD. I cant lay all the blame on GOD for that, War Dogs also responsible for getting heat on the baby faces, I just dont think they pulled that off but Im happy to see gold around ELPs waist."

[7.0] "War dogs theme is horrible. Their boring camo ring gear also leaves much to be desired. Anyway, match starts off with an ambush from Kidd. All participants look good in this and the match has a steady and digestible pace throughout. Phantasmo adds some high flying, and Hikuleo looks way smoother than the last time I saw him, and is a nicely athletic giant working alongside ELP. War Dogs bring the raw aggression, a nice spot near the end with the hanging of ELP into the doomsday device. Good match. 7.5"

[7.0] "Strong match. Kidd and Finlay look strong out there, have an old school bruiser tag team vibe. That one closeline from the middle rope in particular looked devastating from Kidd. ELP and Hikuleo have some really cool comebacks and their big man and high flyer dynamic is really cool."

[7.0] "ELP held it down this match though Gabe Kidd and Coughlin make a great tag team. I am surprised ELP and Hikuleo won but I have a feeling Gabe and Coughlin are going for the IWGP tag titles now. Solid tag team match but it does move slow due to the wrestlers in the ring. They could have leaned into some beefy spots more often."

[7.0] "Another surprising title change on this show, I wonder if this opens up Kidd and Coughlin to win the World Tag League? Wouldn't be against it as Gabe has been the revelation of the year for me. Great storytelling and ELP and Hikuleo are a very fun team. They need to figure something out for those Strong titles though."

[6.0] "The team of Hikuleo and ELP is actually decent to my surprise, and they manage to pick up a win over Kidd and Coughlin. Still, ELP is definitely above this GOD business, and I'm not sure putting the STRONG tag titles on him is a good thing. Kidd and Coughlin do their usual schtick here, and the finish was enjoyable. 3.25 Stars."
