Also, crazy to see MCMG haven't been in NJPW in awhile and they haven't loss a step since. The Trio of Okada, Ishii, & Tanahashi I never realized how much I enjoyed them together and I gotta watch more of their title reign!

The impact trio was incredible in this match, Alexander did a great job and a brutal suplex on Ishii, Sabin and Shelley shined with their teamwork. The end of the match was frantic with a lot of action from both teams and a very good ending.

So many stories playing out between the different guys. The overall NJPW vs Impact rivalry, Tanahashi vs Shelley, Alexander vs Ishii, Okada being pissed at TNA still. And the action was incredible too, MCMG had a fantastic showing, and seeing Josh Alexander in a NJPW ring was very cool. Great spot when Ishii headbutted Alexander and his ear guard came off. Tanahashi had one of his best showings in a while, not prime Tana, but moving better than I've seen in a while. Chaotic six man fun. I would highly recommend. Edit: Probably not a MOTYC, but still a very fun match. Worth checking out if you like the guys involved, and pretty easily MOTN.

I really love how in every title defense (and even on build-up matches on Road To shows) they're telling this story between Hiroshi Tanahashi and Tomohiro Ishii trusting more and more in each other, to the point of actually becoming friends. Everyone here did a good job, but for me, the real stars are MCMG, they were on fucking fire and delivering some AMAZING sequences and displaying great chemistry as a Tag Team, as usual. ***3/4
