[9.0] "Awesome match! I really liked how Asuka used the mist at the start - it added uncertainty to the match. Also the fact most of the action was with all 3 included is impressive - their chemistry was awesome and you could tell they know each other very well. Bayley coming out and almost costing IYO the belt and shortly after she was the reason she retained was very good idea, it added another layer to Damage CTRL story. Overall it was one of better women's triple threat matches in recent memory. ****, 25"
[7.0] "(Grade:C/***1/2) A really enjoyable match though whilst some clunky moments. I liked Charlotte usage in this one, getting hit with the mist early on and coming back with the upper hand and pulling off some impressive moves especially that diving moonsault to the outside. Asuka & Iyo had their moments to shine as it felt like it was a one on one match whenever it was just them."
[6.0] "It is the strength of the division that is revealed in this match, because even with just over 60% of the potential of all participants, this is still a very presentable match. If everyone had pushed themselves to the limit, and if they hadn't focused on almost always performing with just two active competitors in the ring, there could have been a lot more here. The fact that in the end it's Bayley who keeps the title and therefore the stable intact with her distraction speaks for storytelling, but not for ingenuity. It is what it is."
[7.0] "[3.25*] I really really thought this was better than the matches rated above this one. Charlotte even tried to do stuff and was not terrible like she has been on SmackDown. The crowd was very bad and quiet but the match itself delivered in my opinion."
[5.0] "Just another triple threat title defence in women's division. The title wasn't booked well in 2023 and this match is as forgettable as this whole reign. Despite having three great talents the action was fine at best and still they botched quite a lot."
[9.0] "Dude, that match with was totally fucking sick, I mean, the action was off the charts. Tose high-flying moves from Iyo Sky were insane, and Charlotte Flair's athleticism is just crazy.. the match had every spot that you need in a triple threat. The bumps they took in some of the parts of the match looked like they actually got injured. and who doesn't like asuka v iyo. I couldn't belive some of the near falls and close calls in that match. It had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I'd give it a 10 out of 10, 100%."
[6.0] "***1/4 - All of these women are extremely talented, it just didnt feel like everything clicked the way it should have. Never got into a third gear. Felt like a lot of getting into positions for spots and waiting for something to happen. I think a one on one between any of them could have been better. Still a good match. Its a shame past booking affects the way that people feel about Charlotte so much because she is just so god damn talented in that ring. I think the Summerslam triple threat did it better."
[5.0] "Had some okay spots, but in general, they failed to capture me. Normally, individually speaking, I like every worker here, but this didn't mesh well together, i would rather prefer a Charlotte IYO 1v1 match rather than this. The crowd didn't seem not very engaged, and in general triple threat matches don't work within the context of this sport/thing, i don't know why are we still trying it lol"
[8.0] "The odds were stacked and the rivaled chemistry was greatly layered, but the lack of substance (the storyline) and lackluster crowd pull-in made this match look like it happened for the sake of a title defense in Iyo's chain. I enjoyed the typical three-way synergy (Iyo vs. Asuka & Asuka vs. Charlotte) more than the combinational spots from all women together. The ending is expected from a far mile and it's not the only match that had this kind of closure in this show. 3.75 out of 5 stars!"
[5.0] "Shocking that the best match of the night is a 5/10, but there you go. This match was serviceable while Charlotte was outside the ring dealing with her mist problem (but even that was tamed down for the Queen! ). I usually enjoy Flair, but her work tonight was sub-par, and although I have issues with Asuka, she works well with IYO who carried this whole thing to finish line, barely."
[5.0] "Considering the three athletes in the ring you could expecct way more than was finally delivered. I don't know the build-up to this match, but everyone in the audience felt no excitment from this one and were not keen to witness another championship win from Charlotte. That's the only fortunate thing from this one. Eventually Charlotte will win the Title again, everyone knows this, because WWE definetely plans to tie her with her father or even worse overtrump Ric Flair so that everybody knows how women are awesome and better than men in everything... The ending to this match was rather shitty to be honest, it did not make Iyo look strong as a championesse. The WWE women's division is in a poor state. Just skip this match."
[7.0] "This was a pretty good match. Al three women went at it and it felt like two singles match in one. (Iyo/Asuka and Asuka/Charlotte) The finish was overbooked with a referee distraction and Asuka tapping out, as we all breathed a breath of relief for Charlotte not winning."
[7.0] "Sad thing about this match is it was move after move after move after move with little to no cohesion between them, no storytelling, no psychology behind them aside from the beginning spot with Asuka misting Charlotte to take her out of the equation (which she barely sold afterwards). Bayley interference at the end was weird, she didn't affect the course of the match at all, the distraction spot was useless as Asuka wasn't tapping out. This PPV is full of lame booking, but at least the match was entertaining, Asuka and Io had very good sequences and Charlotte put more effort than usual. Good in-ring work, lame booking, zero storytelling (*** 1/2) Edit: I'm watching the SmackDown after Fastlane and I saw Asuka was tapping out. Well, on one hand Bayley interfering wasn't useless, but prevented Io from solidifying herself at the top of the Division. Wasted opportunity with this match."
[8.0] "This was a great triple threat match.Crowd was loving all 3 performers. Charlotte and Iyo were the two best performers Asuka was still real good though. It was choppy in spots but didn't take away from the match. They some great spots and had a mix of fast and slower paced. The finish of the match was great and brutal hope Charlotte is good becuase she took a sick moonsault from Iyo.Top 2 match of night and I like the potential story they have of Charlotte coming close to title 15 doesn't seem like she can get it."
[6.0] "A good triple threat but that didn't live up fully to the expectations and was not at the level of the Iyo-Asuka match a few weeks ago. Iyo and Asuka had a few good sequences but the match lose the steam everytime Charlotte came back on the ring (she was often out of it) to dominate (because she has to dominate for some reason, it's probably written in her contract). Iyo making the pin on Charlotte is good, even if the decision to make Asuka tap prior to that is just plain stupid. A good but forgettable triple threat. 6/10."
"This was a great match with many fun spots, everyone looked strong here ( Charolette most of all of course but I don't mind that). My biggest knock on the match was Iyo needing Bayley again but I understand the story logic behind it. The crowd took a minute to make up as well but I think everyone was invested by the end! Truly a solid match!"
[8.0] "This was a great match that some fun spots. They let everybody eat in this match. There was some mishaps it won't hurt my score because it didn't take away from the totality of how great this match is honestly.Crowd could have been way better, it woke towards the end of the match and had a big pop for Iyo."
[7.0] "This was very nearly an 8/10 for me, but I still enjoyed this. I don't know what the deal is, but both of the recent Triple Threats for the WWE Women's Title have been a little underwhelming, in my opinion. It's really weird considering the amount of talent involved."
[6.0] "This felt like a retread of the SummerSlam match. While I would personally consider Iyo a step up from Bianca (though not by much), there was less story here beyond basically a redo. Was competently wrestled with some good spots (like the ending), but it just all felt like we've been here before."
[7.0] "Its a three-way so there was some odd-looking stuff during this match, that didnt look the best but overall I thought that this was a good match. The best part of this match was probably when they just let Iyo and Asuka wrestle at the start for a couple of minutes. Charlotte did some good stuff in this, but her handspring clothesline is awful IDK why that spot is incorporated into all of her recent matches, and her moonsaults not connecting really isnt shocking. The crowd really got into this by the end, and I thought the finish to this match was really good.***1/2"
[8.0] "This was a great match and i loved the finish with the over The Moonsault with Asuka in the Figured 8. there were a few spots missed or blown but not enough to bury the match. Asuka's mist right at the start was a fun addition. I am very glad that Shirai retained."
[6.0] "The match was cool but clearly there were a lot of mistakes that broke the rhythm. The result remains the good and we now hope that Charlotte will be away from the title for a while.Hoping that Iyo is champion until Wrestlemania in order to close a satisfactory reign we hope"
[7.0] "It was okay, no where near as fun as the Summerslam Triple Threat, I felt like this one lacked the intensity, and with a finish that protected Charlotte it's hard to not groan at where this is going next. Sky is still the champ but the division doesn't feel like it ever pivots too far from the Queen."
[7.0] "This was probably the second best match on the card and I'm glad that WWE despite their short comings actually invests in their women's division unlike whatever Tony Khan does with his division. (this isn't an AEW sucks post either, I watch both promotions.) The finish was kind of cool, even if it was a distraction finish. Speaking of Bayley I really hope she gets a title match eventually she's one of my faves and she can really go. I hope she's the baby face against a heel Iyo though because I really want to see Bayley return to the hugger gimmick and Iyo was good at heelwork in NXT."
Alles alte WWE Krankheiten"
[5.0] "Good performance by the three wrestlers in the ring (I was pleasantly surprised by Charlotte). A few minor botches, one of which (Asuka was a bit too high with the mist) WWE's editors decided to highlight by showing a slow motion instant reply for some reason. The ending just ruined it for me though. I would have been fine with any of the (in-ring) wrestlers winning, but the whole 'Bayley cheated without Iyo knowing' left a bad taste in my mouth."
[8.0] "The women are almost always my favorite matches on WWE PLE, and this was no exception. I thought all of these women put in great effort. The entire ending stretch was very anything-can-happen, didn't overbook itself, and I was satisfied with the ending with IYO's underhanded retaining."
[7.0] "Good triple threat match for the WWE Women's Title. The start of the match with Asuka blowing mist into Charlotte's face was interesting, it allowed for Asuka and IYO to get a few minutes to themselves. Charlotte recovered with some help from the outside officials and got back into the action. The crowd was fairly quiet for the most part and didn't get really into this until the final stretch, not sure why because the action here was good overall. There were a few sloppy moments, mostly from Charlotte not selling and lazily doing moves. Asuka and IYO were for sure the better wrestlers. The near falls at the end were well done. Charlotte had Asuka in the Figure Eight and had her tapping, but the referee was distracted by Bayley so he didn't see it, which gave IYO enough time to hit the moonsault on Charlotte and pin her to retain the title. The right person definitely won. Good match that went as long as it needed to and would have been better if a few moments were better executed. 7/10"
[8.0] "This match was good. Iyo was the MVP for sure, she always give her best, Charlotte was very good, it's true some movements that she makes doesn't look smooth but in this match was good and she didn't have botches but if this match wasn't that good is for Asuka..... I don't know what happen with her since the last year, her strikes are so weak, she always bad posicioned when the opponent does a highflying moves, she never sell well when she gets hit big moves.... she still good in submission moves but that's all."
[5.0] "The crowd wasn't into this at all until they started kicking out of finishers and from there it picked up to some fun drama, but it still wasn't especially good or anything. They made a big deal about IYO not earning the respect of the lockerroom just yet at the start of the match and then had her win via Bayley, so even though you know where that story goes it doesn't seem great to have her champ run being defined that way."
[7.0] "Probably the best in ring match of the whole show which isnt a high bar to pass. But nonetheless this match was good The crowd felt kinda of dead during majority of this match unfortunately but they did get into it as it went on. I will say that this 3 way was definitely better than the summerslam 3way for sure. Ill give this 3.75/5"
[4.0] "Another bizarre Io Shirai title defense where the match lost steam in record time, which led to it being surprisingly boring and empty - the finish was the most memorable thing, but only because Bayley again helped Io win. There were even less exciting moments and fun spots compared to Shirai/Asuka singles match because Charlotte didn't really help make things better."
[4.0] "I dont understand the hype here? 3 of your supposedly best women and they put on this sloppy performance? WWE's women's division needs work and needs it asap. This match had basically nothing going for it. Everyone was sloppy here, Asuka was not so bad and seemed to mostly just suffer from the other's botchy work. I really thought Iyo was meant to be something but she's no better than Charlotte when it comes to the botchs and mistimings so I really don't understand why everyone blows smoke up her ass."
[8.0] "Match of the night by far. Just a shame the crowd was terrible for it because these women put in the work. Much better triple threat match than the one at SummerSlam and Charlotte Flair finally stepped up and performed good for a B level PPV which she usually doesnt. Iyo retaining was surprising but very much welcomed for me as I expected Bayley to cost her."
[6.0] "I'm not saying this was bad, but I gotta say that this was just like a normal, Non Title Triple Threat match in a weekly show, not the Women's Championship match at a PPV! it was like they are tired, and don't wanna put too much energy into the match, and if they did, we could've seen one of the best Women's matches of the year, because all three of them, are very top level at Women's division. (***)"
[6.0] "I legit don't get it how this didn't hit like it should've. Charlotte control segments sucked, Iyo and Asuka weren't at their best and when it started picking up they slowed it down again. It was just a disappointment. It thankfully got better near the finish but it wasn't enough to call this a good match. It was decent."
[8.0] "This was a good triple threat as you can axpect. A lot of good action and good spots and even some callback. I wasn't axpecting to look at Charlotte pinned like that, I know this wasn't a clear ending since Asuka tapped out but it's still pretty strong. ****1/4"
[5.0] "That was one of the most basic and generic three ways i have ever seen. There was no heat in this match. So many miscommunication moments. Iyo , as usual , is always the better part of the match. However Asuka came out as the weakest , just like Summerslam. They got plenty of time that would make the match perfect but it didn't. Overall an ok match. ***"
[4.0] "Nothing of a match with absolutely no psychology or story implemented into it. It's just a spot after spot after spot with nothing in between - they're literally ending one move and immidiately go into another multiple women move that wouldn't make any sense in a real fight. They don't build to anything and considering the fact that it's almost 20 minutes they really should have, because if they wanted to just have a spotfest they should have limited it to about 10 minutes to not overstay their welcome. Then the finish is weird, as it's a No DQ and Bayley somehow manages to distract the referee. Overall it's just a spotfest that's too long to be good."
[6.0] "A solid if disappointing match between three of the biggest names of the womens division over the course of the last several years. The match served well in showing Iyo at being on the same level as talents like Asuka and Charlotte, as she should be. They implemented some good moments with the triple threat stipulation and the result worked well in giving Iyo some more credence. Some of the match seemed a bit off at times in execution particularly in Charlottes case but it was a solid match."
[6.0] "I'd like this a lot more if it wasn't stained with sloppy execution, because in concept, this was a good match. IYO and Asuka had a few more choreographed moves that either lacked impact or occured too slowly, particuarly when Charlotte was in the ring. I'm sick of the tower of doom spot, too. It's never timed well, especially not in a match that's already peppered with timing issues. I think Charlotte is the weak link here, and an IYO/Asuka singles match easily would've been preferable over this. The sequences with just Asuka and IYO were notably better, even if they still lacked the cohesion you'd expect from them. I don't know, IYO isn't getting great crowd reactions and I think that has a lot to do with how she's booked in these weird, triple threat/tag matches instead of shining on her own in singles. Just okay."
[7.0] "Fun match , nothing too crazy. There were some sloppy and awkward moments , the crowd also could have been more active. Iyo looked good , Bayley coming out at the end was a little silly. Charlotte had some good athletic moves , also enjoyed Asuka in this match. This was not the match of the night , but it was fun enough to garner a good rating. I enjoyed parts of this , but other parts got me wondering where they went wrong. I think Charlotte will probably get a chance and win , she will probably say Bayley cost her."
[9.0] "Great match, great work from all three ladies, lots of cool spots throughout. Asuka going to the mist early was a surprising way to start things off, Charlotte's spear later on was sick, and Iyo's codebreaker was great. The tower of doom spot was nice, too. Bayley's interference was well timed and necessary. Iyo is a heel champion and shouldn't be winning clean; what's the point of doing that? She can rack up the clean wins when she eventually turns babyface. But great work overall and a great match."
[8.0] "I don't think these finishes are benefiting Io or her reign. I was vocal after the last women's title triple threat that I thought Io's cash in was badly handled and detrimental to both her and Bianca, this has a much less irritating finish but is still not exactly flattering to her reign. She wanted to win on her own but only won because of Bayley distracting the referee by trying to enter the ring, in a no disqualification match where that should be allowed, and that did make the story of the match feel less rewarding since it was a clash of styles and physicality (Io the risk taking high flyer, Asuka the malicious technician, Charlotte the relentless powerhouse) and a narrative about who could survive the onslaught. I'm sure the eventual Bayley match will benefit from this established dynamic between them but I want Io to win on her own and be an explicit babyface already."
[7.0] "Not always on the same page, but otherwise a really nice threeway with almost the ideal finish for what this story was going for. Bayley got IYO into this match but also got her out of it while still mostly letting her shine, since her moonsault pinned Charlotte clean in the middle. Asuka looked great here and Charlotte was fine. One of the better tower of doom spots I've seen in quite a while with the top rung being a Samoan Drop instead of a suplex. Asuka tapping so much for several seconds hurts her mystique, though it's not the first time Charlotte's made Asuka look bad, and they did it so Bayley is still in good graces with the champion and IYO vs Charlotte can be at the next show. Good stuff. ***1/2"
[4.0] "My god that was beyond mid. Charlotte dragged the whole action down with sloppiness. Once again Charlotte no sells almost everything, including the mist. Sure she got pinned but they had to make sure Asuka tap first, this literally makes Asuka look like a geek twice in the same match even without getting pinned at the end. This should've been IYO vs Asuka on PPV and nothing else. I don't get why they constantly force Charlotte down our throat even though she is dragging everything she touches down. Let other women shine, especially when the matches will be way much better than this sloppy mess full of overbooking to make sure their favorite girl look insanely strong even in defeat. They can't hep themselves but book Charlotte like terminator all the time, kicking out of everything, not tapping into a double submission, no selling big moves, it is exhausting to watch and make the entire roster look bad. The action between Asuka and IYO was great, they carried the match, but unfortunately the whole thing wasn't great due to how bad the writing is. IYO has successfully defended her title 3 times and yet never felt like a champion since she can't win anything on her own. Asuka's character is dead once again, IYO doesn't look like a Champion despite being Champion and Charlotte looks like the winner despite losing, I'm sorry but the Women's division continues to be a complete joke under Triple H, I can't believe the same guy who gave us so many years of awesome reigns and feuds in NXT, gives us this crap."
[8.0] "Very solid triple threat match, I was happy that Charlotte Flair took the pin to have Iyo Sky retain her WWE Women's Championship, I'm hoping now she has a new challenger for the belt. Now Iyo Sky beat, Asuka, Zelina Vega & Charlotte Flair in her reign now who's next? Charlotte Flair had her best performance since WrestleMania 39 where she fought Rhea Ripley in one of the best women's match of this year. I loved the ending where Asuka was tapping then Iyo Sky hit her moonsault for the win. 4.25/5"
[8.0] "I dont wanna be an party pooper or anything, but the crowd just stunk up this match. However, I will say that IYO SKY did try her hardest to make this work, and it kinda did. But man, these people just DIDNT CARE. Its like if Tanahashi vs Okada being treated like the piss break of a NJPW show. It shouldnt be, but did it really did feel like it. Loved IYOs Springboard Moonsault onto the outside, and Asuka throwing her into the Suicida on Charlotte, as well as the finish with IYO breaking the Figure 8 with another beautiful Moonsault to retain the belt. Ill never get tired of IYO, but this match and the 8 man tag match kinda lived in Cody & Jey vs. JDs shadow, despite this match happening about 30 minutes after the fact.(***3/4)"
[7.0] "So we had another match that really wasnt needing of Charlotte. Rather than having that iyo Sky v Asuka match on a random smackdown, they should have maybe just dont a number 1 contender between Charlotte and asuka. Because I know for a fact that iyo v asuka would have killed on a Pay Per View level. But for some reason we need to continue having Charlotte rammed down our throats. The match itself was average. Definitely dont live up to what it could have been if they let them work. Im just not sure what is happening on this PPV but Im yet to be amazed by anything. So Im hoping something is gonna blow my mind."
[7.0] "Iyo winning was the only right choice here thank god this is what happened. Match was good and made me nervous. Asuka misted Charlotte on the first minute. Some nice wrestling and cool moves but sometimes there were moments when I felt wrestlers have a little miscommunication here. Iyo is very explodive. Asuka and Charlotte played a veteranish roles. Interesting how the storyline between Iyo and Bayley will played out in the future. If aliens ask me what "cool" means I will show them Iyo Sky. I felt this match could deliever more for some reason. Looked like I've seen that match before."
[9.0] "Sometimes, it takes time for a match to win me over. This match won me over almost instantly when Asuka misted Charlotte Flair. Goddamn, what a match. Two wrestlers I have high affection for (IYO SKY and Asuka, probably the best women's wrestlers on the planet) and one I respect greatly (Charlotte) go at it and it's just amazing. I don't know if the other two matches left on this card can match up to this one. I was somewhat worried this match would underwhelm but those fears were utterly unfounded."
[7.0] "Personally I prefered Asuka and Iyo's match on Smackdown, but this was still pretty good, these 3 women ill always put on a good to perfect match. Kinda disappointed that at the start they went for the cliche of one person out of the ring while the other to have a one on one match but once things got going it was good. I don't know why they can't give Iyo a single clean or dominant win and by the finish it looks like they are stretching this story a little bit more which for me is a problem in the Triple H era, let's hope it gets better."
[8.0] "Yeah that was great. All three of these women put in so much work to make this a super entertaining triple threat, with great spots throughout and some solid psychological plays. My only real issue is that the pacing was super uneven in parts? Lots of quick bursts of energy scattered throughout, nothing all that consistent, but those flashes of brilliance kept me engaged. Multiple moonsaults, a Mist play at the start from Asuka, even Charlotte had some great spots in there, showing off how flexible her long ass body is. Really fun watch, match of the night easy so far."
