[7.0] "When matches like this are on a "Road to" event I usually temper my expectations. These two teams overdelivered and was easily the best match of the show and honestly the only thing I'm glad I watched. Naito and Okada were both motivated and always feels like a special pairing alongside Rush and Hiromu who have one of the most refreshing dynamics in all of NJPW in 2023. ***1/2"

[7.0] "I could probably watch Tetsuya Naito and Kazuchika Okada wrestle each other for all of eternity but with the addition of the two junior heavyweights, this match hit different. It's been awhile since we've had any solid junior heavyweight action, possibly since the Best of the Super Juniors, so it was great to see this match dominated by the Lio Rush and Hiromu Takahashi feud."

[7.0] "This was a good tag team main event match on an otherwise mediocre Road To show. Lio Rush was able to score the pin, which I really like, and all wrestlers were made to look really strong. Rush and Takahashi were definitely the MVPs of this match. (***1/2)"

I don't know why Naito and Okada are keeping on wrestle to each others but at least the booking of the triple threat was good and the final stretch was awesome. Takahashi has been pinned but since both Okada and Rush smashed him in the ending this didn't hurt him so much. ****1/4"

[7.0] "Rush pinned Takahashi, but before Okada was at the right place and time to assist, he struggled and at one point was on the verge of defeat. Okada/Naito didn't phone it in, but they had to walk the line between giving the fans a satisfying enough performance and not taking the spotlight away from Rush/Takahashi. Not a match to remember, but a very solid build-up Main Event."
