[6.0] "A brief sprint of impressive spots, with little to no selling or story. I admire this match purely from an athletic standpoint as I can't even imagine how tricky it must be to get the timing right on all these flashy sequences, but I strongly prefer the more fleshed-out Scurll vs. Ospreay singles matches where these moves have more drama and meaning behind them."

You had two thirds of the match being Scurll and Ospreay who just have 10/10 chemistry whenever they're in the same ring, and add Dragon Lee to the mix and you have a recipe for nonstop action. Of course not everyone likes these types of matches, and that's fine. As for me this was a perfect way to introduce the UK guys to the ROH fans, ****1/4."

[1.0] "Awkward match. Example of how a spotfest should not be. Just a spots without any kind of sell, zero heat. Bad pacing. No memorable spot. ****1/4? Congratulations to who can see quality in this match, because it's really hard. (*) for this match. "

[9.0] "Best match of a very good show and the first in a trio of awesome matches that elevated Final Battle from somewhere between not bad and pretty decent to the aforementioned very good. It's not for everyone but I like a little bit of everything in my wrestling from hard hitting brawls to mat classics to hardcore wars. And I like a good spotfest too. This, unashamedly, was the latter. From start to finish it was wrestled at a frenetic pace with downtime at a minimum. I've not been particularly impressed with Dragon Lee, mostly because I think his supposed great matches with Kaimatachi were terrible but he was just as much a part of this being great as Ospreay and Scurll. Ospreay is great in his role as ultimate spot monkey and Scurll's just one of the best going today. Everything from his entrance to his presence to his charisma and wrestling just screams star. A good spotfest this was but Scurll stood head and shoulders above the other two. Really exciting three way with the right winner and Meltzer nailed the rating ****1/4."

[6.0] "For all those that rated this ten minute sprint a '7' or higher please watch Ospreay/Scurll from 'Reach for the Sky: Night 3' and check out what a true championship-level contest is between these two athletes who give it their all for the ROH TV title. Not that this wasn't entertaining as Ospreay is as great of a spot-monkey as there is. For example, he flips out of a (soft) Scurll cl, handsprings off the rope and hits a wonderful backflip Pele kick on Scurll/Dragon Lee. I love Meltzer for almost everything but his ratings."

[1.0] "I couldn't care for this match even if I tried. The match had zero selling and they packed way too much stuff in so little time. Ospreay & Scurll are starting to bore me with their constant 1v1 matches and adding Dragon Lee to the equation didn't help as he's a spot monkey just as well as both Scurll & Ospreay. I understand the hype but I just didn't like the match although some of the things they did looked cool but just ruined any chance of me enjoying this bout. (*)"

[9.0] "An awesome match, this one. Not that most people would've expected different. This match had to be changed at the last minute, but it was just fine without Fish (who I wish the best for, sucks what happened). Scurll and Ospreay's odyssey of a rivalry throughout 2016 was the glue that kept this match together; Will and Marty are incredibly well-versed in each others' offense, but neither has experience with Dragon Lee, which lead to both them and Lee not knowing what to expect either way. There was something of a contrived 3-Way pose towards the beginning, but everything else was really fluid and interesting stuff. Scurll sells the despicable act of snapping his opponent's finger more than most wrestlers sell their opponent's offense; love that spot, and love The Villain's work. The hurricanrana to the outside reversed by Ospreay landing on his feet was truly incredible stuff, too. The best part is that the ROH crowd wasn't very familiar with Scurll or Lee and had not seen Ospreay at an ROH show before even if they knew him, so these three proved their worth in the company in just under 11 minutes very effectively. Truly great stuff, here, even if it goes for a little more style than substance. ****1/4."
