[10.0] "Goosebumps match man. Imagine stepping to work and the literal first thing you have to do is somehow face Aja Kong for an title man. Scary as hell. The first ten minutes were literally Aja Kong beating the shit out of Meiko, and at some point I just accepted. There is nothing Meiko could do technically to counter Komg offensive style. It was brutal at some points in the psycologh side, the pressure on the neck with her arms, the kicks on the floor that gave the feeling that Kong was saying to Meiko she don't value shit. Them, at some point, Meiko start HER offensive. Slaps, strikes, everything he could do to make that beast stepback. Here, there is a funny thing I noticed about Meiko, she is an wrestler that really knows how to use her legs, and I am not talking about just kicks. Her footwork, which is something pretty uncommon to put in value at wrestling wise, is pretty good as well, maybe it was at the best point here. Anyway, I love how methodical and heart feeling that match is for anyone watching, this is an five stars match for me and an truly suggestion if you want to see a match that will make you FEEL. Aja Kong is the type of wrestler I fucking love to watch, the brawler that usually only have 3~6 moves in a match and ends most of them in a unexpected way. Freaking monster."

It was cool to look back at her athletic prime and contrast that to 2025. I loved the way Aja Kong changes throughout this match. She's so good at accumulating damage. it often takes volume to hurt her and she's the best at conveying that. Meiko's offense is suited to be the perfect type that can stagger and drop Kong. I absolutely loved the finish as well which I won't spoil."

Aja was the monster Meiko tried to slay but she couldn't, Kong dominated most of the match with her classic offense (those Uraken's are thing of beauty) Satomura was so young here but she definitely showed she is the future legend - her performance was outstanding. ****, 5"

[7.0] "Aja Kong vs. Meiko Satomura followed the monster heel versus underdog babyface matchbook, I personally felt like I was watching one of the many (always good) Kong vs. Toyota matches, but this time Meiko playing the role of underdog, highlighting the exchange of kicks and the crowd's reactions during Satomura's almost victories (***3/4)"

The Japanese crowd absolutely love the young underdog, and any chance she has to battle back and take control the 6000+ people roar with excitement, its beautiful to witness. Sure there are natural miscommunications and screwups on Meiko's part but to witness such a stellar match beginning her journey... it's crazy. Aja just rules. ****1/4"

Everytime Satomura was able to hit Aja Kong it looked like a big deal and as obvious Kong toyed on smashing her opponents when she was in control. After an awesome underdog performance and a vicious Sunset Flip Avalanche Sit - Out Powerbomb it wasn't enough and the champion retained. ****"

[9.0] "Fantastic match. Just fantastic. Great first third with Aja dominating Meiko and Meiko giving a masterclass sell job. Meiko's comebacks were perfectly timed and had the right amount of desperation behind them. Both women put together some intense sequences, vicious strikes, and tons of false finishes. Aja unloaded some many big bombs in the finishing stretch i lost count. The only downside would be the crowd who was quiet for most of the match but woke up toward the finishing stretch. Overall this is a must watch. ****1/2"

[9.0] "Pretty awesome match. Great opening few minutes with Meiko and Aja Kong kicking each others legs both being chopped down by the other. Some great storytelling mixed with some really good technical wrestling. Meiko was great here selling everything Aja Kong did and showed tremendous fire. Kong nailed Meiko with some nasty looking strikes and unloaded on her with bomb after bomb. ****½"

[9.0] "An excellent match even without knowing much about the rivalry except the reputations of the two involved. A classic big (wo)man/little (wo)man match with Aja tossing Satomura around early, building to Satomura chopping down the gigantic Aja with leg kicks, and finally climaxing in a series of incredible near falls that had me biting on false finishes repeatedly. The level of technical and storytelling skill demonstrated by both women in this match is incredible. The only thing keeping it from being perfect is the anticlimactic finish, and even that makes sense as it excellently builds to a rematch that is now high on my list to seek out."
