[8.0] "Really good match between aj styles and finn balor and was far better than their underwhelming match last year at Survivor series. With AJ Styles past his prime this is one of his best matches this year"
[6.0] "Saying that these two are insanely talented is like saying water gets you wet, but that's the explanation behind making a nearly random match so rushed in time and full of interferences that killed the vibe so good. The veteran ring awareness, the flawless executions, the chemistry between former Bullet Club leaders. Pure talent and experience to deliver one of the best under 10 minute matches of the year, but like I said, the constant interferences killed the momentum these two built so well (*** 1/4)"
[4.0] "This was honestly a really limited match given what Balor and Styles could do, too much judgement day interference as always , Jimmy and Solo also interfered for no reason. Balor also won by roll-up which I didn't like , with more time and no interference these men can put on a barn burner as seen in their tlc match. AJ was good as always in this match , Balor was good too it's just that the interference took too much away from the match itself."
[6.0] "The match wasn't bad, but very disappointing, considering the talent of Balor and Styles. I know that age is now a factor, both of them are now above 40, but having two top guys on a match that didn't last 10 minutes is lame. Again, not bad, but forgetable. ***."
[5.0] "Im really not into the jimmy uso stuff. This match was fine for the most part, if not a little unrememberable. The match was just completely derailed by the finish in my opinion. These 2 deserve better, and so does jimmy uso. Not a great start to the show"
[7.0] "The wrestling itself is pretty good and with its back story also makes it interesting, the ending is a bit meh because it's a careless pinfall but the development of the wrestling was tremendous and for me it deserves this rating. I hope something better develops for AJ Styles after seeing the end of this weekly episode."
[7.0] "A short but sweet TV opening match however AJ Styles and Finn Balor have such good chemsitry that they obviously made the best of the time they were given. Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio getting ejected was good to give us an almost clean finish but then Jimmy Uso showed up. I am glad FInn went over. Some good flurries of offence throughout this one."
[6.0] "A pretty good TV match. AJ Styles has been feuding with the Judgment Day recently, so naturally a match against Finn Balor was bound to happen. It was a nice back and forth between two veterans, everything looked good but there was nothing that would really excite you about this and it didn't go long enough to get that next level. The referee tossed out Dom and Damian after they predictably got involved. While he was distracted with that, Jimmy Uso interfered which allowed Balor to get the cheap pin. This match was used more to advance the story than anything, and that's perfectly fine. 6.5/10"
[5.0] "It was a good TV match, but alas, it was cut up with advertising and, to be honest, the match between two former leaders of Bullet Club obviously should not take place so short in time, you cannot throw such signs around just like that. In addition, AJ Styles' botch and Jimmy Uso's intervention at the end did not add optimism."
[5.0] "Bizarre ratings in my opinion here as this match got killed by a commercial break and some shenanigans involving Judgment Day and Jimmy Uso toward the end. The match was not bad but I thought overall below of what both are capable of delivering considering how good both still are."
[7.0] "This was a decent opening match, with some decent back and forth between two top shelf superstars. The Judgement Day involvement was totally predictable and probably overdone, but at least we got teased with the ejection from ringside from WWE went full WWE with the same old Uso interference thats been done and redone a million times. The carny nonsense really pulled it down."
[8.0] "Slightly less disappointing than the match they had at Survivor Series a year prior, maybe they need to cut off from the commercial breaks somewhat that it doesn't deviate too much from the match itself but the action that was telecasted was great as expected from the men, just wish they had more time and a better finish."
[8.0] "Styles was largely dictating the tempo, wielding numerous opportunities to unleash his finishing maneuvers. However, Balor astutely countered both of these pivotal attempts at every turn possible. Uso's interference served as the benefactor, paving the way for Finn Balor to clinch the victory through a cheaply executed rollup for the win. These two can deliver much more but this was not half-bad considering the advert in between."
