[3.0] "Bad match, I'm glad this was quick. I think the crowd made this look worse, or maybe the terrible match just completely silenced the crowd. I don't know anymore, but this was a super rough watch, I don't agree at all with the kinda high average rating here, sadly - {*1/2}"
[5.0] "With the amount of talent in this match, I thought this would have been a bit better. Although, it's not like they were given a lot of time either with nearly 6 1/2 minutes. I'm glad Storm got the win here, as I think a match between herself and Saraya for the Women's World Title has the potential to be pretty good."
[3.0] "Ouch this was kinda rough to watch. Why does Tony Khan only use the same like 6 women all the time, especially when they churn out absolute flops like this one. Seriously its been a good while since I enjoyed an AEW women's match, I really want this division to succeed but we're 4 years in and im yet to be impressed by it."
[3.0] "There was a moment in this where all four were trading strikes in silence in front of a dead audience and that really just seemed to sum up the entire match. The audience were out of it most of the night so they can't be entirely blamed for that, but this didn't threaten t pull them back in at all. Baker takes the loss and that sends her reeling right into a TBS title shot."
[8.0] "I continue to find the denigration of most women's matches in AEW a bit confusing. I thought this was quite a good TV match and nicely showcased some of the better and more noteworthy talents in the division. Shida in particular had a very nice showing and it was quite good to see Nyla doing her thing, she's rather underutilized I'd say."
[3.0] "And another terrible women's match, of which there have been quite a few in AEW this year. And it seemed like this time there was a selection of excellent performers, but something once again went wrong. Toni Storm in this image cannot show good fights, so for half the match she simply grimaced. Brit basically felt lost. I didnt expect much from Nyla, although she tried. And Hikaru tried so hard that she even botched in places. As a result, a set of incoherent sequences, most of them just chops or punches, then a short period of time and constant fuss from the girls. And so we get a terrible match that I definitely wouldnt recommend to anyone."
[5.0] "I expected a lot more from this fight, honestly I didn't expect something very far in terms of technique, but I expected to tell a story that was worth it. The fight itself is skippable and irrelevant but that doesn't mean it's awful, I hope they know how to manage the women's division well, I think they need to do something interesting with them."
[3.0] "I really did not like this match. There was a lot of (unintended) miscommunication, downtime or straight up stuff that just did not look believable -- too much for the talent involved. Only Nyla seemed to rise to the occasion work-wise, although Toni did great character work to be fair. Not sure about Shida and Baker, though, something just did not click for me here. In the end, the hottest act of the four won, setting up the Outcast breakup next week in NY. Maybe Shida and Britt can develop a story about their miscommunication, because right now their characters are just super cold."
[5.0] "Has Britt Baker insulted Mrs Khan? What is she doing taking the pin in this match? There have been a million four way womens matches in AEW, there has never been a good one and there never will be a good one. No point moaning about the womens division in AEW, it will never change."
[1.0] "This is again the same 4 women only ever in the title picture. Its constantly just fatal 4 ways to do with the title and thats it. I feel bad for the other women not getting any storylines. Why is Toni getting another shot at the title again? She lost it to Shida then got a buy in to try again, lost the match to Saraya, but now is going for it again against Saraya? Whats the point."
[6.0] "Toni Storm going over was the correct booking decision (as she has the most character momentum in the women's division at this time), and the manner in which she won fits her character/story. The deteriorating partnership angle with Britt and Shida is fine, but not especially well-executed from an in-ring perspective (maybe it's just a communication thing because it all moves too slowly). Maybe it'll lead to a solid Britt/Shida singles match down the line at least? Shida and Rose were the key performers in this match's best spots."
[4.0] "Really poor until the end, with all four standing around looking gassed during the picture-in-picture break. Britt and Shida's issues were dumb, given what was at stake. The Toni roll-up was obvious, and Shida did a poor job of bumping for Britt's curb stomp."
[5.0] "Toni's current character is the most interesting I've ever found her (definitely needs a new theme though) and it was nice to see Nyla show up again. The match was pretty mediocre, though. Nothing all that interesting, and Britt is flat out bad now. Everything she does looks weak and unathletic. She is so slow. I'm not sure if she is working hurt or what but she doesn't look good at all. Other than her poor performance, this was fine, just nothing memorable."
[5.0] "This wasn't bad at all, but it also wasn't that good. I really like all women involved and I really thought it would be better than it actually was. My biggest issues were the weird slow and awkward moments that happened occasionally, and also I think Britt really needs a small vacation. (**3/4)"
[6.0] "Shida's great, Toni's great, Nyla's good, so a multi-woman match with them should be really great right? Well Britt's there too so it's not THAT good. It's become way more obvious despite some wonky booking that Baker is the weak link in the world title scene, and I can only hope she's going to stick to keeping Hayter's spot filled until she's healthy. That said, when Britt's not in the match this is some solid action with a lot of good spots from Shida. I also really liked Nyla rolling back so that Shida's penalty kick nails Toni instead of her before rolling back to pin Toni again. Toni's excellent new gimmick taking a quick win at Britt's expense is the best possible outcome too. Honestly a really solid sprint of a match given most of the competitors can go and the correct finish went down. ***+"
[5.0] "The match was more than just okay; it offered an enjoyable and engaging bout. While it may not have reached the heights of a classic, it certainly wasn't a disappointment either. Toni Storm, with her current character, proved to be a shining gem in the women's division. The way the match unfolded and the eventual victory felt perfectly aligned with the storytelling in the wrestling world. It's clear that if this trajectory continues, Toni Storm could very well be the future face of the women's division, a prospect that has fans eagerly anticipating what's next."
