That bit with the kid at the beginning was gold (ditto for Wagner). They spend the first five minutes in there together, and Wagner was really selling Psycho as a ghost of his past while Psycho just made sure to let the crowd know he's a big deal. Alejandro and Ninja Mack work well together, and while I certainly wouldn't call this match clean (and probably sloppy in parts), the moves they did with Dragon Bane and Alpha Wolf were judt creative and fun. Those two are like Fenix and Penta 7 years ago; absolutely awe-inspiring, just without the polish the Lucha Bros have now. They also really spared their pin attempts, so the ones they made mattered. That rana Code Red Psycho hit was nuts, as was the Spanish Fly that finished it. And ending it with the family ... Psycho is over in two appearances; he knows what he's doing when he plays to the crowd. I'm pretty hyped for the National Title match."
[7.0] "This match was fun but I preferred the 4 way match at EDION Osaka compared to this match which to me felt somewhat like a tag team rerun of that 4 way just with Psycho Clown & Hijo Del Wagner Jr in it. Seems that Clown brought his kid and maybe some of his family to Japan which is nice."
[8.0] "Psycho Clown did a masterful job of getting himself over to a new crowd, the Shinjuku Face crowd was a bit hesitant to chant along with his antics at first but by the end of the match, they were loving him just as much as his home crowd back in Mexico. Every body played their roles well, lots of big dives and the finish was a nice stretch between Wagner and Psycho Clown with Psycho Clown solidifying his title challenge with a strong victory over the champion. Love everyone involved in this match, especially the Luchadores who are a refreshing change of pace within NOAH."
[9.0] "Psycho Clown made his entrance and was as over as anyone could be in Shinjuku FACE, he was carrying one of his kids who was wearing his mask, which also got a great reaction. El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. wouldn't be one-upped - he also came across as a big deal and had his kid in his mask accompanying him to the ring. They had the crowd on the palm of their head before even touching, anticipation of what's to come was massive. The most interesting thing I guess is that there was no brawling or even a thought about turning this match into a bloody brawl, because I wanted to see a clean match. All four other wrestlers used crowd's attention to leave a memorable impression themselves, especially Alpha Wolf and Dragon Bane - they are the next challengers for Junior Hvt. Tag Team titles, so here they did a bunch of awesome double-team spots, crowd loved them. Finishing stretch was all about big moves and near-falls and there was a clean finish, and because how over both wrestlers were here, it raised my interest in their upcoming National Title match. While I don't think that this match will be talked about at the end of the year (mostly because it happened on a regular show and talking heads/taste-makers only care about big shows), in the moment it was a tremendous experience that I thoroughly enjoyed - not everyone these days can own the room and draw in the crowd just by their presence alone like Psycho Clown and El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. did it here together."
