[10.0] "This was my 2016 match of the year. Just watched this for the first time since probably 2016. I probably have less patience to epics than I did too still holds up very, very well (for context in 2016, alot of stuff I have rewatched have not held up. This felt earnest and emotional. Engaging all the way though out Andrew Everett doing the shooting star press on a standing Trevor Lee ruled. Trevor Lee becoming more aggressive rocked. Trevor Lee's CWF Mid Atlantic Championship is probably the best championship reign I have seen in real time. Great match!"

There was little rhyme or reason to anything that happened, which seems to be a trademark of Trevor Lee matches. And all this whilst listening to one of the worst commentators that I've ever heard."

[7.0] "As I've completely stopped watching TNA there's a lot of Trevor Lee/A Everett matches/work I have not seen. However, the T Lee/A Everett I have watched over the last sixteen months in AAW/PWG are very different performers than the grueling slow-burner they showed me tonight. At the aforementioned shows it's about T Swift inspired wacky dancing and a much higher workrate pace. I guess, though, b/c this is CWF & Mid-Atlantic territory, the T Lee/A Everett dynamic parallels what fans would have seen at the Greensboro Coliseum some four decades back. In fact, the weakest parts of this match include instances when the wrestlers had to 'get their shit in. ' For example, near the end, A Everett facebusted T Lee to the mat and seemingly took forever to hit his 630. Most of this match followed the 'King's Road' logic, but this was an instance in which a simpler high spot executed in quicker fashion would have assisted the match's, especially as it was climaxing, momentum. There are other small gripes I had - Lee kicking out of a second 630 from the shoulder that was being held down by AE, and not by the one left free to rise - but this is a fine battle. The crowd was 70-30 behind Lee, and as someone who doesn't often watch CWF, I couldn't tell by the behavior of T Lee if he was a face or heel. However, I don't believe I have the right, as a very unfrequent visitor to CWF-land, to say if T Lee here should add more color to his act or if his gimmick as champ is as a tweener who is just having epically lengthed battles during his reign. 7. 25"

Solid technical work at the beginning, the match built was well done, the crowd interaction was good, both guys were awesome playing their roles. The only negative things was the small audience, the length of the match, if it had been a little shorter, it would have been better and in some cases, but still ****1/4."

Excellent back and forth action and versatility between these two men. Started off with some striking exchanges and escalated properly eventually ending with a submission."

Loved all the limb work, joint manipulation & Trevor working over Everett's cut. Just a masterful performance by the man. Everett was a really good underdog as well, well timing his comebacks & hope spots. Amazing match. ****1/2"

Loved the storytelling and the working of limbs as well. Match built really well and probably a match I could watch any day. (****1/2)"
