[7.0] "Roop is so good - most of his matches flow nicely and are usually very well put together. Here we have two big guys slugging it out, with Bob working a bit more heelish while George out-wrestles him for most of it, but then we get a very well-executed finish with Mike hitting the post and a brutal kick to end the fight."

[6.0] "Technical Ted is on commentary with Boyd Pierce. He's sizing up his next opponent, Roop, which tells you who is going over here. The awesome old couple are in the front row. Love the setting for these Mid-South TV matches."
[7.0] "Yeah, this was the sleeper hit from this episode. This was a fun little hoss fight. Plenty of struggle as these two bulls lock up. Bob Roop was fantastic here, as was his opponent. Roop is a master technician who will start throwing out fists and breaking the rules as soon as things don't go his way. It's a great heel performance that shows a bit of subtly. It's never over-the-top and it makes his opponent look great. There's a great moment where Roop tries to jump off the middle rope only to immediate abort this when he sees George cocking his fist on the ground below. We some nice bumps involving the ring post and the concrete floor when Roop continues to play this dirty."
[6.0] "This was the longest match of the night, and also best match of the night. This one surprised me, I expected nothing from it going in. Bob Roop didn't come to play around here; I've seen a few matches of his before but this was by far the best one. Mike George pulled his weight in this one too. I genuinely liked this one."
