Preston Vance getting a Triplemania pay cheque was not on my bingo card. This was two singles matches merged into one and it was very clunky because of it. Only in AAA could an Apuestas match featuring Rush and LA Park be boring and bad. Tirantes who earlier in the night attacked his son for being a shitty biased ref was a shitty biased ref favoring the rudos. The violence was devoid of anything substantial. There was a ref bump leading to outside interference in a no disqualifications four-way match. Thats AAA. La Faccion Ingobernable and Sam Adonis beat the life out of Psycho Clown but everybody refused to pin him. So Psycho stood up nonchalantly, hit Sam with a light tube, and hit a Spanish Fly for the win. Sure, okay. Thats a finish, I guess? What a disappointing main event. Rush and Park got paid. Adonis is bald. LA Park grabbed a live mic to shoot his own angle and was cut off. |

A mask vs hair match and the focus of the match isn't on either of the rivalries featured, no Konnan the wrestling genius builds the main event of his biggest show of the year around a Heel referee. I also think that it was a somewhat vague decision for this Triplemania that Adonis lost, I expected Park to lose, because of his age and such. |

They wanted to do two singles matches at the same time and what they got was less than the sum of its parts. Rush/Park singles would have blown this out of the water, but since it's modern AAA, we can't get that. Apparently meant to be No DQ, so why did they need a ref bump to do the interference spot? Psycho Clown no sells a beatdown long enough for the finish, then does a random stretcher job so the HEEL of all people can cut the show-ending promo. About as good in-ring as a 2 but too infuriating to rate that high. |

If you clip some spots and post them on Twitter, this would even may look cool, but I can't say any of those rare interesting parts made this bout any exciting. I really liked most of their Tijuana match (right until the botched finish), but this one really lacked any real heat or captivating character dynamics previous encounter showed. Just some nonesense with poorly featured cheating. Finish is so rushed, yet after 20 minutes of boring mess I felt a relief after seeing it. Adonis going bald is expected, but I think the right call. *1/4 |

Match absolutely stunk, some baffling booking here. There was a ref bump on a heel ref so the heels could have a beatdown and then the ref just watched and didn't care anyway, not sure what the point of that was at all. There were full parts of this match where the two pairings would just sit and do literally nothing on the outside while the other 2 were in the ring for extended amounts of time. Would've been better if it was just 2 singles so the match didn't get so damn convoluted. Sweet cash grab to get people in the seats for the LA Park Rush stuff just to not deliver on that whatsoever. this stunk. |
