Jerry Flynn vs. Yoshiaki Fujiwara

[4.0] "Yeah this one was pretty lackluster. Fujiwara's done a good job bringing something interesting against the rest of the roster who are otherwise pretty hit or miss but there was really nothing here to sink your teeth into. As soon as Flynn backs Fujiwara into a corner and does nothing and waits for Fujiwara to advance, I sort of knew this one was going nowhere. Flynn doesn't play up to his striking game as much as he should've and the mat work doesn't have the nice details that a typical Fujiwara performance would."

[6.0] "The only Jerry Flynn matches I've seen were jobs in WCW. I knew his thing was Martial Arts but I didn't expect to see him here. Especially going up against the legend Fujiwara. The fight starts off with Standup quickly but then is taken to the mat. The participants make it back to their feet and Flynn lands a kick that Fujiwara shrugs off. Back to the mat and Flynn manages to get a leg. Fujiwara reverses and gets a moment where he can nail like 6 kicks to Fujiwara's head unanswered. Looked kinda stiff. Fujiwara manages to lock a leg hold on Flynn in the center of the ring, Flynn struggles and can't reach to ropes so he's forced to tap. This was entertaining and I'm not sure if it was just me but it seemed Fujiwara added a little pro-wrestling elements here with his taunting and mild selling."
