Timothy Thatcher vs. Yoshiki Inamura

[7.0] "Underated match for both. It's a slower more methodical style of encounter so it rewards the more patient viewer. While I feel that Timothy Thatcher's facial performance can sometimes be a little over the top at times, I can't fault his ability to tell a story with a quality dance partner. And I think Yoshiki Inamura helped him achieve this."

[5.0] "This match had the potential to be better, however, unfortunately, the wrestlers showed almost nothing interesting. A couple of good reverses from Inamura and a tough, as usual, submission from Thatcher at the end. I hoped to rate it at least 6, and it seemed like they were close, but the ending was too abrupt."

[8.0] "Suprising to see it so low rated, I thought that this was a really good match. The grappling and submission work was excellent from both of the wrestlers. The match felt like a struggle to gain control. Good selling especially from Inamura, not quite four stars, but closs enough to get an eight, especially given how others rated this matcb so low. ***3/4"

[6.0] "Even though this only ran to 13 minutes, it felt pretty long. The grappling exchanges here were decent, and the arm work actually paid off with both Inamura's selling and also his big power offence when trying to come back. Interesting to see Inamura lose by sub on the second straight night."

[6.0] "Thatcher simply outclassed Inamura, forced him to tap out and made it look relatively easy. The way how Inamura was selling and trying to make small comebacks, made it feel like it was by design to get over Thatcher as a threat - can't say he didn't need it after losing to Lee on Night 1, but the way how Inamura lost of his matches makes him look like a jobber."

[5.0] "Inamura sold like crazy, screaming and writhing as Thatcher bent his limbs in every which way possible. The quick ending with the Fujiwara armbar was cool, and you could even hear a woman shriek at the quickness of it all, but I found it a little plodding with Thatcher mostly grabbing holds. When Inamura was on offense I was into it, as was the crowd clapping along for him, but like they always do, NOAH jobbed him out. Im hoping he at least gets one win in the tournament."
