[5.0] "Great to see New Day back, this was a quick match but at least delivered some entertainment. I hope for the Viking Raiders to receive a better booking - {**1/2}"

[5.0] "I'll patienly wait to the day the Raiders either ask for their liberation or get fired, because they're nothing more than jobbers. I thought maybe the feud with Alpha Academy could be the stepping stone for a better situation, but they just ended up in the same place they began. While seeing Woods and Kofi back was nice (although New Day has been stale for years now) and the match was a perfectly worked exhibition, that doesn't make less sad how the Raiders are treated instead of being the dominant force in the Tag division. (** 3/4)"

[7.0] "This was a really fun match , in only 5 minutes we got enough action to transcend this match to a 7 out of 10. The only problem was the Valhalla interference , Vikings losing to a returning team even with help makes them look weak , and some stalling from new day."

[6.0] "It's great to see Kofi & Xavier back in WWE. While I do wish they could have beaten another team in their return, they ended up having a fairly fun match with Erik & Ivar. Speaking of The Viking Raiders, I really hope WWE starts treating them like a bigger threat soon. They were good in NXT and they were good for a bit when they first joined the main roster, but something happened along the way and they ended up being forgotten a lot. I thought their heel turn would be what they needed, and it was for a little bit, but it feels like they're dropping back into obscurity. That's truly a shame, as they're one of WWE's best tag teams and they've proven how good they are during their NXT run. While I am glad to have The New Day back, I really hope The Viking Raiders start racking up more wins sometime soon."

[6.0] "I enjoyed the prematch promo from the Viking Raiders, and the return of the New Day was great. The match was a little squash like for my liking but it was still good. Kofi Kingston showed his ankle is fully healed with some great dives and Xavier Wood's diving elbow is always impressive."

[7.0] "Really enjoyed seeing the New Day back and both throwing themselves right into it again. Were they at their top flight full throttle? Of course not, it was match 1 back, but they were damn cool and put on a jolly good show. The Viking Raiders got to showcase that they are both agile and menacingly strong, but found themselves doing the honours again. Not sure where they could be headed from here, but excited to see the New Day back in swing and was entertained by this, which is the whole point. Bravo."

[3.0] "Not much going on here aside from the return of the New Day. Xavier seemed low energy in comparison to Kofi. I still don't know why they're saddling the Raiders with this gimmick, it's completely at-odds with the rest of the roster and they're not given any actual characterization or time to explain why they're dressing up as vikings. They don't really do "viking things" either, aside from a mention of the gods here and there. I think they'd be fun if they played into the ridiculousness of it by having them pillage and plunder backstage, maybe kidnapping other wrestlers and trying to sacrifice them. It wouldn't be taken super seriously, but portraying them as deranged berserkers would certainly make the gimmick feel more believable than just two guys who like dressing like cartoon vikings."

[6.0] "A decent fight where we see The New Day again and let's see what happens with The Viking Raiders because they are ceasing to be what they were and in fact, for me they already lost interest and that's why they are making them jobbers again. I don't understand why they made so much around them if then they don't follow the stories or anything."

[6.0] "A classic tag match featuring the return of New Day. It was entertaining but classic, nothing more to note. Too bad the Viking Raiders lost their early momentum. The New Day will certainly be propelled around the tag-team titles, which are in total limbo."
