[8.0] "Great match from Cedric and Mark Haskins. There was some good counter wrestling. Fast paced match, they threw some strikes at each other. Excellent performances from both guys."

[8.0] "Really good match between Alexander and Haskins right here in what is one of Alexander's last matches in the indies if I'm not talking nonsense, he comes back in PWG right after his instant classic against Kota Ibushi in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic and you can directly see that the crowd was grateful to him and also proud of him because he had clearly earned that big spot against Kota as well as the contract that was offered to him afterwards. And he came to work a damn solid BOLA match against a Haskins who was on the rise and even ended up winning the match, a lot of action during which we never get bored with an effective heel-work of Haskins on the arm of his opponent. The match ended with a beautiful arm bar, which Haskins had to use because there was no other way for him to win the match against a very resilient Cedric."

And at times it was painfully obvious that they'd choreographed certain things. There was no spontaneity and no sense of emotion from anything that happened."

[9.0] "The two locked up with some nice chain wrestling. I liked how Haskins kept getting Alexander in a headlock over and over. The two traded hard strikes from chops to slaps to forearms and uppercuts. The two hit lots of great strikes throughtout the match. It was really cool stuff and the crowd was loving it. The crowd was really great in this match, not unlike the rest of the matches. They were just really loud for both men. I loved the spot with Haskins catching himself in the ropes on one side of the ring and then continued to hit a tope suicida on another side. I liked Alexander's screaming when he sold the attack on his arm. Alexander hit Haskins with a nice series of strikes before hitting a huge tope con hilo. Alexander got a good nearfall after hitting an awesome Michinoku Driver. Haskins had a great counter where he rolled through into a fantastic sharpshooter where he was wrenching all the way back. They were getting great sequences, combinations, and counters and were really great. Haskins looked really great before finally locking in the bridging armbar and making Alexander tap to end a really fantastic match"

[5.0] "Good competent wrestling, and a nice treat to see Alexander, but Mark Haskins has a very dry style and this match was an exchange of move without a hook for it. Nothing offending but nothing you would miss either."

[7.0] "The first few minutes were pretty alright is what I'd describe it but everything past the Sharpshooter reversal was really good. Alexander performed well here but Haskins was the real MVP, he was going 100% with intensity and he was really just trying to impress as much as possible, which worked. Really good match for what it was although the beginning was a little dull compared to the rest of the match. (***3/4)"

[6.0] "A deserved win for Haskins who I felt brought his 'A' game in terms of intensity. There was a moment-in-time where Haskins kneed/kicked Cedric in the upper thigh, and the crowd was about to heel on him, but he reigned it back as if he didn't understand the crowd thought he low-blowed CA. Granted, w/ how the match's final moments were devised a heel turn would have been awkward. Besides, the hesitation CA showed late & the subsequent cat-calling by a member of the crowd, "You'll never be Ibushi... " actually worked in the match's favor and led to MH's turn-around and eventual submission of CA w/ a ripping armbar reminiscient of our K-Dojo friend Mashimo. It's just that, as 'Mizzle' has written, as a character MH is a regional, not global, delight. Perhaps the heel turn might have provided him a different shade of color as to stand-out. Though not at all poor, this was not one of CA's more memorable performances. 5. 75"

Cedric is fun, but this probably could have been shorter, and if they had to put him out so soon they probably could have picked someone more interesting to go over."

[8.0] "Not great, but showed signs of greatness. This felt like Cedric and Haskins each doing their own moves on each other with some nice transitions and reversals thrown in. It felt like these two just didn't have enough immediate chemistry to get past a lack of experience with one another, but they still had a very good match that had the crowd going. ***1/2-***3/4."

[4.0] "Decent match overall but nothing of the significance. Cedric seemed to be not very engaging in his work here and Haskins really lacks that charisma factor to his matches as well. The crowd was dead for most of this and honestly I wasn't into most of this although I did appreciated the arm work Haskins did on Cedric as that helped in the finish but otherwise this was just decent. (**)."

[9.0] "Great match. It's amazing to see the change in Cedric Alexander since the last time he was booked in PWG. He's totally figured it out. He was always an incredibly smooth worker, but he's added an extra layer of charisma that really boosts his matches. Haskins is one of the most underrated guys out there and it was awesome to see how much he got over in his PWG debut. It's sad that this is the end of Alexander's run after not being booked in the company for the past year and a half, but I'm glad he got this chance to go out on a high note. Hopefully Haskins will become a PWG regular off this BOLA debut, as guys like Sabre, Scurll, and Andrews have done in the past few years. ****1/4"
