715.03.2025Wrestlingfan08089.0One of the more underrated trilogies. Each match was different. And then what happened after the match was probably the biggest talking point of the night. Brock showing Cody his respect by shaking his hand which wasnt planned. What Michael Cole said about this after it happened was why the feud happened to begin with. Brock probably wasnt so sure about the hype Cody was getting prior to his comeback so he had to see it for himself. Cody took a beating and went out of his way to show not only Brock, but the fans how tough he is and to show that he was going to be the guy going forward after Roman. ****1/4
813.03.2025KA10 Meltzer7.0This match was pretty good and a pretty good end to their rivalry. One thing I really didn't like though, was how Cody just hit Brock with the steel steps and the ref just watched it not caring. Other than that though, the match was solid.

1020.02.2025Rassle Fan2.0Sometimes the disconnect between what I watched and what other fans watched fascinates me. I'll admit I've been a fan for a very long time and with that comes a jaded viewpoint. This match was just...a match? I don't know how else to put it. Their previous two matches were reasonably successful because they were both under 15 minutes. This match was longer and it was a chore to get through. This whole feud was very weird anyway.

1212.02.2025mj26099.0The best match of the trilogy. Cody Rhodes came off like a superstar and Brock has a really good performance. A classic david vs goliath wrestling match with Brock dominating majority of the match but Cody showed a lot of resilience throughout, escaping numerous near count-outs, and the Kimura lock which was why he lost at NOC. Brock then shaking cody's hand at the end was a sweet moment.

1813.01.2025Smi-486.0As is so often the case, the Lesnar match is no showstealer. But with his three-move set, consisting of shoulderblocks, suplexes and F5s, he really puts the young Rhodes to the sword. The three finishers in the armbar are too much for the Beast, however, and you have to wonder why holds on the rope have to be released but strikes with the ring steps are allowed. Half an extra point each for the show of respect after the match and for the fact that the Cody experiment in the WWE was not ended, which would have been possible.

2201.01.2025JediSaiyanMaster12039.0Okay, so I recently decided to revisit the Lesnar/Cody trilogy since I felt like my previous judgement of 2/3 of their matches (didn't watch NOC aside from a few matches) was in need of an update, and I can say that I appreciate these matches way more than I did initially. While I liked this match beforehand, I didn't get the praise from people like Dave Meltzer and Ibou, of WrestlePurists who were uploading it to the high regard that they placed it. But now I can finally get it, this match was easily the best of the 3. While I do have an issue with Cody using the steel steps and not getting DQ'd, that's my only issue with the match. I hated the spot where Lesnar kept trying to win by count out since I felt it was excessive, but now I can see why they went that route with how the story was being portrayed of Lesnar digging into his arsenal and couldn't put Cody away after only winning their previous match by a ref's decision, likely eating up Lesnar that he didn't win by his own hands. It's also very different from most Lesnar matches where he just, straight up, dominates the entire match and comes off like an unbeatable boss, now he's finally met his match with Cody Rhodes. I can definitely see the Sting/Vader comparisons in these guys matches together. I'll end it with this match is severely underrated (along with the rest of these guys' bouts) by the fans and should be given another shot. It's crazy to me that I actually attended this show, live and in person, and this was my first and (possibly) last match I saw of Brock Lesnar's in person. Having him shake hands with Cody at the end felt, almost, poetic in a way, like Lesnar knew this was the end for him. It pains me that Lesnar has to be involved in the Janel Grant case, aside that it's horrible that a man would even do the things that Lesnar has been said to have done, because I would have loved to see what other matches we could have gotten from him. While I thank Brock Lesnar for all he's done for the industry and all the countless great matches (despite some of his weaker moments in his career), I also hope justice prevails and men like him are put in their place. Thank you and fuck you, Brock Lesnar.

2528.12.2024Gilensky4.0This match is so stupid, I can't understand why the fans in the arena was so happy for the development. The referee was blind such as Byron Moreno, who is a fucking dick head for me as an italian moron. This match is a fucking shame, I don't truly understand why the DQ was not called when Cody used the stair. Also the post-match, after this stupid feud, is scary as the shit after Christmas lunch. (4/10)

2724.12.2024Pineapple9.0Surprised by the relatively low rating. This was a fantastic match in terms of storytelling and drama. Brock dominated the match, but Cody showed resilience throughout, escaping numerous near count-outs, and the Kimura, until he was finally able to score the victory.

3329.11.2024piotrusjasigma0.0a completely unsuccessful match and I agree and I am the only one with a certain person who gives this match 0/10 but what was it, I totally didn't like it, for me it looked like a real circus, do you love me, fight? no, I don't love you, lach me dudu, I don't see any potential in this, because damn it, I didn't like this fight into oblivion 0/10 I didn't like the idea of the fight, not only was there no stipulation, but the judge didn't disqualify me 50 times Brock threw Cody out of the ring, you can't, it's not a sign of a good fight, I won't give it anything more, it's complete crap, I don't know what else to write here, I didn't like this fight, no I recommend watching her and coming back to her, there were better fights, I don't understand such a high rating, I will understand ratings up to 4, but not higher, because how could it change anything and some perception triple H booked this fight poorly for real

3516.11.2024Nolan Green8.0This is the match of the night. It did move at a slow pace each did hurt the match for me, but the story was great. Both men played their parts well and Cody defeated Brock felt like the last step for him to step back into the main event scene. And the unscripted part at the end with Brock shaking Cody's hand was a great was for Brock to go out if we're never going to see him in WWE again. Great finish and a great match

3919.10.2024tlaugh087.0This was a ***.75 for me without that illogical stair spot that the ref was staring right at, shouldve been a dq & it made no sense it wasnt. Besides that, told a great story throughout this match & Brock putting Cody over after the match like that was awesome ***.5

4115.10.2024artisticxavier8.0Good match not great, too much resting in between but if they just focused more on the fighting the match wouldve gone places, maybe a stipulation here or there you can't have 3 matches and they're all the same thing but hey this was good enough, it's no masterpiece it's just Brock telling Cody he's not ready for this and after the match he sees he's ready to climb the mountain.

5112.09.2024FelipeTalksGraps6.0[3.0*] I am writing this right now just because I forgot to do this before but now the third match from one of the most average trilogies of all time lol. The third match was slightly better and the ending stretch was pretty good but the overbooking ruined it.
5208.09.2024Hollywood Hangman8.0
5305.09.2024danzitorock6.0The third match between them was slightly better in terms of storytelling and thrill, but was extremely overbooked, I don't think I've saw more overbooked matches than this one, this really crossed the line. If you analyze emotion, it's a hell of a match, but again, it was all very cheap and lazy, I didn't liked. The booking and then the hug with Brock in the end... Cody's really being built like a superman - {**3/4}
5403.09.2024bookbag57.0The best match from the trilogy it made Cody look like an even bigger star. It was a bit dragged out with the amount of times Cody had to beat the count but the crowd, of course, was firmly behind Cody. Pretty good match, nice end to the trilogy. [***3/4]

7029.07.2024KingofKingsHHH7.0
7125.07.2024Freakin Bema4.0the match just sucks, I'm so sick of Cody's overpowering every time, the only thing I liked was after the match when Cody and Brock shook hands, and so I thought not to rate this terrible match at all, but still decided that 4 points is the most suitable.

7813.07.2024Hatef7.0yes, few moments of this match were boring(like every time Brock beat Cody, and threw him out of the ring and Cody came back in last seconds). but i feel like it's a little bit overhated, because we also saw fascinating moves by these two, and i gotta say that this match, was better than their last 2 matches totally. so i think 7 would be enough. 8505.06.2024DestructiveDanyah9.0Easily the best match of the three with the 2nd being the weakest with Cody in the kimura for what felt like forever. If this is brocks last match then its a good one to go out on as his final run has been very mixed from an in ring perspective. Great match
8626.05.2024PhillyHarden9.0Cody conquering the Beast, a really great underdog story between two fighters. Crowd was red hot and it definitely helped up the atmosphere. Cody is really great at taking a beating, and Brock is really great at giving them. A good match at building up Brock as the one to be beat, and Cody as the one to do it.

9106.05.2024cactus8.0This was a stadium spectacle where the triumphant babyface is able to finally slay the beast. This is the end to a trilogy that helps successfully rehabbed Cody after the Reigns loss took a lot of wind our of his sails. This starts out as your typical Lesnar fare, with him pulling out suplexes that Cody takes well as Lesnar takes his sweet time. Lesnar trying to win via countout was a brave creative choice as no big US PPV match had ended in a countout in a long time, but they are able to get the audience to bite when Cody looks to not make the count. We get some nice callbacks to their other matches with the turnbuckle cover coming off and Lesnar looking to breaking Cody's arm again. If this is Lesnar's last match, this was a damn fine way to go out, with him putting over the new guy in the process

9528.04.2024Heartbreakkid20038.07.5/10 enjoyed the match more than i thought I would. Best match of their trilogy by far. I thought they told a great story throughout and I felt it was similar to Brock/cena from ss 2014 only this time with the baby face getting the victory. Loved the postmatch moment as well 4/5
9625.04.2024jcheng7779.0Easily the best match from their trilogy of matches. Helped by an electric crowd and was an absolute banger. If this is the last we see of Lesnar in a ring, this match wouldnt be a bad way to cap it off. Loved how lesnar put Cody over at the end though.

10016.04.2024yamom9.0****1/2 MOTN: Type of match that just makes you rip your shirt off and scream. Crowd hot as balls, pure underdog vs goliath vibes. Brock as scary as ever and selling his tree off. Yeah if Lesnar never comes back he tweaked in the end and I'd be happy with this. I get the low average for the most part. This just unlocks something primal in me.
