Mariah May vs. Saori Anou

[6.0] "Mariah did good job selling her leg, but in general the match looked kinda unnatural. I think they didn't really find a chemistry. I'd prefer they did more personality work as theirs characters have some similarities, but they showed just a plain wrestling match which was primitive and didn't get the crowd hot. Hopefully this was the worst Saori's match on the tournament."

[8.0] "One of my favourite matches in recent weeks. I really like both these wrestlers. The opening was frantic with Mariah hitting her brutal powerbomb outside the ring. Saori sells everything like death but would go on to work her opponents leg and eventually pick up a submission victory."

[8.0] "This was basically just as good as the main event. The 9 minute length made it so there was no time for BS they just went at one another and it was really good. I liked Saori's leg work which we rarely see and loved the start with the Backdrop + Powerbomb on the outside."

[5.0] "This is skippable. Not bad in any way but not particularly good either. It was just there. Saori Anou has been a good addition to Stardom and Mariah May has continued to approve. With a bigger, more heated crowd it may have been something worth going out of your way to see but as it is I don't think you will regret missing it **1/2"

[6.0] "They did better in the first 5SGP match but i liked Saori better here, Mariah is still on the road to getting better maybe because his storytelling is still not that good and even some seling problems in the midway during the match probably. The tournament is long so maybe it was a bit holdback."

[8.0] "Why is Mariah May's theme scary? It rocks, but it doesn't fit her at all. Mariah May starts this with a backdrop driver and a sunset bomb to the outside, MA'AM. Poor Saori Anou's been getting beaten to shit in this tournament. Anou decides to work the legs of the taller Mariah, which work to her advantage. Mariah kinda sells her legs but not often. Mariah's got some pretty sick chops though. I liked Anou's counter to the stratusphere with a single leg crab, I've never seen that before. Mariah May then does that one 2K move they call the Stunt Rider Stretch, It's Not, Shut Your Mouth players know what I'm talking about. Mariah then hits a sick Angel's Wings. Anou wins with her Armbar/Figure Four/Choke thing that is incredibly hard to describe. This match was very good, Mariah May is actually really damn good, and I'm excited for the rest of her tournament. Anou I can tell is gonna have a tough tournament to get through but she's got been undefeated so far."

[7.0] "Really enjoyable match from these two with Saori having to adapt a bit and find ways to chop Mariah down to size. And my goodness, I hope she's able to survive this 5*, Giulia already did her best to murder her in the first round, and now one of the first moves she takes is a powerbomb on the outside. It's a good thing she's tough as nails."
