[4.0] "At the same time, this match had a lot of action and wrestlers were quickly transitioning from spot to spot and did a little bit of everything, at the same time nobody really stood out, nobody did anything really memorable and the end result was 'a match that happened'. Waller doesn't come across as a wrestler that can get over with just one big spot and Escobar surprisingly got lost in the shuffle, AJ was just there."

[7.0] "After some weeks of just good, ok and painfully average matches, this four deliver a great TV match with non-stop action, pretty cool spots, an excellent Pete Dunne, a solid AJ, a surprising winner in Santos and Grayson, who was part of most of the action but he has a lot of room for improvement. The Tower of Doom spot looked bad actually, as the timing was off and the cooperation was evident. A bit of sloppiness in some sequences, maybe two or three, but nothing that takes away the good show this four men put on here. That ending keeping the Kross vs AJ feud ongoing was the worst thing of the match. Just stop with that, nobody cares. (*** 1/2)"

[4.0] "[4.0] Not a fan. It's fast-paced, but the triple power bomb spot where 3 men just stood on the ropes for ten seconds to set the move up was unbelievable and really took me out of it. I'm not feeling Escobar or Waller either. There was a nice spot where Butch reversed a Styles Clash, but the rest of the match was quick and flashy to the point of most moves feeling they had zero impact. As always, Styles carries the match, but is taken out by the insertion of the garbage Kross "storyline", a barely-developed feud that's been present on SmackDown for the past month. For some reason, Kross's interuption on the titantron provokes Styles to exit the ring and turn his back on his three opponents. Bad psychology, really took me out of the whole thing. Theory is also genuinely horrible on commentary, sounds like a kid just barely able to keep up with Barrett and Cole."

AJ Styles played his part well, but this is a disappointing use of such a megastar. At least pulling him away via the Karion Kross shenanigans protected him from truly taking an L to three guys nowhere near his league, but that feud is a rubbish waste of Styles too, so hardly redeeming. Nice surprise winner in Escobar, but we all know hes not winning the right to face Theory, which dampens it somewhat."

[7.0] "This was a solid and decent fatal 4 way match, unfortanely was a short and not long enough match, it couldve help butch and grayson character and in ring grow alongside the crowd and the audience but it wasnt put any value to that and they rather keep the match short and have over 15 minutes on the show showing what happened the week prior and stuff like that, a real shame cause it couldve work so much better for the talent in the ring, is more then time to give more wrestling in this smackdown shows beside just storytelling."

[9.0] "Very enjoyable Fatal-4 Way Match, I had Santos Escobar winning so I was very happy to see he won Triple H been booking him well as of late which is good because I do see him as a future star of this company. Only downside of the match is seeing AJ Styles & Karrion Kross feud is still going I thought it would've ended last week but it seems to be continuing after Karrion Kross took out The O.C. backstage and seeing Grayson Waller take the pin I didn't like but over very fun Fatal-4 Way Match. I do hope LA Knight is the one that wins this #1 Contender Tournament to face Austin Theory for the WWE United States Championship."

[8.0] "This match was fire , so many well timed spots and sequences , Santos Escobar gets a win but he will most likely lose to La Knight in two weeks . This was fun match and maybe at some portions it was sloppy, but it made people like Grayson look good even if he took the pin."

[8.0] "Really good four-way right here between all these great performers and I find it hard to understand why it's so underrated here when we saw some quality spots with a lot of creativity and all executed perfectly, the crowd was into it and everyone played their part as they should. We couldn't have expected more from this cast and they really delivered in my opinion, even if I don't know what to think about Waller getting pinned, but that's no big deal. Great win for Santos Escobar."

[6.0] "A perfectly fine four way that had its ups and downs. Everyone got to have their moments to shine, though Grayson Waller stood out the most in a good way with some creative moves. There wasn't any need for a tower of doom spot, it takes forever to set up and more often than not doesn't look good enough to justify doing. Things got awkward when Styles was about to win but got distracted by the big screen showing Kross taking out The OC, continuing a feud nobody cares about, and he completely abandoned any thought of winning. Waller took advantage by hitting his rolling thunder stunner that Butch sold well and for some reason had to lay there selling his own move so Escobar could splash him from the top rope and get the win. A surprising winner with a bigger surprise of Waller being the one pinned. 6/10"

[2.0] "This was yet another cluster multi man match with horrid logic, badly timed spots and a lack of selling. In particular looking at Waller who has a good look but besides moving like a statue in the ring his selling is dreadful. The match end saw him get pinned after he sold his own offensive move harder than anything that had happened to him all match. Send back to nxt. The tower of doom spot needs banned as this was another example of hey why are these guys just standing there waiting to receive this move. They didn't even pretend to be trying to deliver the double suplex as they for Escobar to hit the Tower spot. This was 3/4*."

[7.0] "Good win for Santos Escobar to get him a step closer to a United States Championship opportunity, but it came as a result of AJ Styles being distracted by Karrion Kross and Scarlett attacking The OC who were backstage. I'm a bit surprised to see Grayson Waller lose again after losing to Edge last week, but I reckon they see him as someone who can get heat back with his promos. Butch added further to the great in-ring work. Hopefully the winner of this tournament takes the title from Austin Theory, it's clearly not working with him."
