[7.0] "I was initially impressed at how Fujinami could keep up with Ishikawa, a man 13 years younger than him. These legends work a match that is subtly brilliant. It doesn't hit you over the head with how great it is. Hierarchy is established with Fujinami just being that little bit better than Ishikawa, Fujinami gestures to Ishikawa as they break the clinch and you could read this as Ishikawa feeling condescended to. There's also a moment where I was starting to think that they were spending too much time in a hold, but you can Fujinami play it strategically and he is able to put on a toe hold and wrestle his way to a dominant position as the patient audience show their appreciation for Fujinami's ring smarts. We get all the signature Fujinami spots to end this one on a high. Don't expect a Battlartseque match put of this and you will have a lot of fun with this."

[6.0] "A match like this almost feels too good to take place in a notoriously not great year for wrestling as 2010, it's obviously not the best thing it could be with Fujinami at 56 and Ishikawa still great but past his peak. It's also on a produce show which typically never bring out many all-time classics or anything but Kana is a real one for it nonetheless. With these two though you get something interesting, even the matwork feels better than most who attempt it not so much at speed but with attention to detail and struggle. Not much in the way of stand up, Ishikawa gets an enzui and backdrop and Fujinami pulls out a couple dragon screws as well as the dragon sleeper but ends it with the figure four."

[6.0] "This is a 56 year old Tatsumi Fujinami vs. a 43 year old Yuki Ishikawa. I did expect this to be a pure mat based affair knowing there are some limitations you gotta take with Fujinami considering his age. Ishikawa is a little underhanded in this one, grabbing at Fujinami's eyes to break a hold, going after Fujinami's leg after a rope break. I'll give it to Fujinami, he's surprisingly fast getting into these holds. and towards the end of the match he does some cool submission transitions. Luckily they start doing some more strikes and Fujinami even takes a back suplex. If you expect Ishikawa to through some gnarly ass strikes like he does in Battlarts, that doesn't happen, even his headbutt looked kinda protected. But it's still an okay match."
