Both wrestlers matched & complimented eachother perfectly as they went through various different moves, including speed, power, Dives and even a strong-style test of endurance. Neither man had a definite advantage over the other at any time, and it was only the last flourish of moves that finally sealed the win. A nice change of variety from other matches on the card this night."
[8.0] "Lovely physical fight between Irie and Jacobs right here that lived up to all its promises and will very clearly please you if you come to see this match liking these two wrestlers a lot, they absolutely didn't disappoint and gave everything to beat the crap out of each other in a very rhythmic match filled with interesting content. I knew it was going to be very cool, but it was even better than I'd imagined. 1PW sees something huge in Jacobs, still undefeated in their company and having beaten Irie with a big Lariat (no mean feat when you know Irie), I wouldn't be surprised if he challenges Will Ospreay very soon in a rematch of one of the UK MOTYC."
[8.0] "If you like the European style that Gunther, Sheamus and McIntyre have put on with each other than you will like this one as well. A lot of powerful strikes and the pacing is not the fast-paced cruiserweight style but is not the slow pace of the 80s and 90s, it has a really good pace for the type of match they want to do. A veteran like Irie helps make a newer Jacobs look really good."
