Despite the dynamic, a lot of the crowd was very into KENTA but Wayne had a number of fans of his own still. Crowd was very into it. The two ref bumps at least protected Nick in defeat. Low blow and belt shot prior to the G2S felt a bit excessive but sold the dynamic well. Crowd seemed genuinely surprised by the title change. 7.5-8 |
| 3 | 30.06.2023 | boymeetsworld | 7.0 | This match didn't try to subvert expectations - KENTA worked heel that was very much respected by the crowd, Wayne was a young valiant babyface champion, it was well-paced until the finish that was all about ref bump and cheating, but the crowd treated KENTA after his win like he's a god. He was milking, milking and milking it as much as he could while trying to hide his smile at the same time, which was hilarious to watch. I guess there are levels of this game in terms of being over for different crowds. |
