[6.0] "A satisfactory match but really nothing more than that. It seems a lot of people are lukewarm on the New Eras for the obvious reasons of MIRAI being overexposed and both of them being fairly nondescript. When combining this with the fact that the Goddesses belts haven't really mattered for quite some time, the notion of them going from one 'meh' team to another 'meh' team doesn't really blow anyone away or instantly make the tag team scene unmissable. Should also be mentioned that the submission spot in this match, sadly, basically fails on every level because the crowd barely get involved despite Ami's excellent selling (which is kind of sad for her). Also, she lasts forever in it which buries the submission hold (anyone who watches MMA knows that lasting forever, and also not tapping out, whilst in a submission hold literally never happens unless the move isn't applied correctly and that situation clearly doesn't apply here). In summation, this match happened, there was a belt change (which at least Rose Gold sold as if important; MIRAI can barely be bothered to sell it when interacting with Mina in the post-match). Then the shit really hit the fan with Tam coming in to try and make everyone forget what had just happened, did her crappy tweener schtick and pulled someone's hair for the 300th time, and then sold a basic lariat like she'd been shot (even though she, on a weekly basis, no sells getting dropped on her head). MIRAI tried to show some complexity in her emotions, but mostly looked like she was about 12, screamed for the millionth time, hilariously forgot where the mic was so just double backed on herself like a geek and then cut a promo that Tam completely buried as soon as she could talk (which just defies belief as an intelligent booking decision)."

I didn't really care for MIRAI and Ami as champions, whereas I've really enjoyed previous champs like Meltear and 7Upp. Here's hoping I will enjoy the Goddess titles in new hands. Looking forward to singles adventures for the former champs, interesting that there seemed to be a lot of focus on Ami in the match."

[6.0] "MIRAI being a complete and utter charisma vaccum that somehow is overshadowing Ami Sourei's own run is actually depressing me. That aside, I'm glad the bland team lost. Mariah May is actually incredibly underated and worked wonders in this match and Mina Shirakawa has been redeemed, if only slightly, for her baffingly poor Wonder run."

[7.0] "Good match. I feel like Ami and Mirai had no fire, had no passion, and were a disappointing championship run. Ami is not nearly there as a wrestler and has very little personality but has an incredible x-factor that made me keep hoping this was the match that would make me love her. Mirai is very unlikeable and has no charisma. Mia Shirakawa & Mariah May are 100% the opposite. Mia is an A+ worker who absolutely kicked ass in this match and Mariah is the most improved wrestler of 2023. She's growing leaps and bounds every single match. She has no signs of stopping. As for the match itself, it was good. It's kinda funny how hard Mirai had to work to get the crowd to cheer them and it really didn't last very long. When Mia and Ami were in the ring, Mia led to a good chopping down storytelling and both of Rose Gold did very well with Mirai."

Ami and Mirai also combined well, while Shirakawa showed that she could sacrifice herself for the sake of the commanders."

[8.0] "It was the first match in The New Eras that didn't leave an incomprehensible aftertaste for me. It was a very clear story about how Mina and Mariah simply excel as a team. Throughout the match, they constantly supported each other while Mirai and Ami tried to handle everything on their own. At the end, Mina turned the match around and Mariah helped her a lot at the end."

Neither team come across as worthy champions, and the title change doesn't feel like anything special. This could have been done on any random show. 5/10"

[5.0] "Another mediocre match. I can be considered a fan of Shirakawa, I like Mirai, this match has a promising story based on Mina's attempt to rehabilitate herself, but most of the time it was just boring and without storytelling, only Mariah pleased with her cool things. The moment when Ami could give up was bound to be tense, but there wasn't enough good work done on Sourei's leg for that. The final was a little better than everything else, even though there was nothing special there, and the only difference from the usual ending of a third-rate tag team match is the ultimate finisher at the end. I am glad of Mina's triumph, but the match is weak (**3/4)."

[7.0] "Another pretty good match with a title change thankfully. MIRAI and Ami are good wrestlers, especially MIRAI, but they don't work well as a tag team. Mina is so good at the moment that she deserves a title and Mariah deserves one too, as a reward for all her continious improvement. ***1/2"
