Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn vs. Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy

[5.0] "I like the push the Gunns are getting but its hard to get excited for a Hardys match these days. Both of their bodies are absolutely wrecked and they can barely move. Jeff I will say has looked marginally better since his return/recent rehab stint. I genuinely hope he sticks with that, but please let the brothers move into a full-time mentor role for Private Party or something."

[4.0] "The Hardy's just can't bring it anymore and while I like the Gunn's they can't carry a match alone. I think it's time for the Hardy's to hang up the boots."

[6.0] "Definitely better than I expected; both Matt and Jeff looked much better here than their DoN performance, and the Gunns definitely played a huge part in that. A solid choice for the first team to beat the Hardys in AEW."

[6.0] "A fun tag team match for sure. I thought Matt Hardy looked great in this one, including an explosive hot tag. Jeff Hardy also looked pretty solid to me. The Gunns really impressed me with their tag team work, especially in the minor details beyond the moves. It may have been a bit traditional in its structure, but I do not see anything wrong with that. 3 stars, 6 out of 10. A perfectly solid match to get the show started."

[4.0] "This match was whatever, The gunns entrance was the highlight for me, I think they could have gotten a clean win over the Hardyz as they have shown they're capable of being a top team and then still done the BC Gold stuff as I think they'll be great in that group"

"Enjoyed this match more than I would have expected. Matt's been very slow for a long time and Jeff's finally starting to catch up to him in that department. Match was good in large part thanks to the Gunns selling so well for the Hardyz signatures. 6/10"

[3.0] "I think AEW is using Jay White and Robinson too much, I don't know what role they have in that story, the match was very average, going bad, I didn't see anything remarkable, I just pointed out that the public is hooked on Matt Hardy's Delete and that there is an improvement with The Gunns, but this match is not very profitable."

[5.0] "The Match itself was not great not bad. Both teams just wrestled and were sloppy. This is not what I would want if I was TK. Colten Gunn pinned Jeff Hardy after BCG interference + 310 to Yuma. 5.25 out 10. **1/2"

[2.0] "The Gunns tried hard but this was a dud for me. The Hardys are just busted, they'll always be over but there's just nothing left you can do with them in the ring."

[4.0] "Did this decide who the best Brother Tag Team in AEW is? No. But it did show that the Gunns have a bright future, and that the end is nearing for the Hardys."

[5.0] "A decent fight that although it is not at all memorable, I found something interesting as far as it fits the way they made The Hardys lose and the way in which they justify their defeat at least is something positive, but I see them pretty bad in technique, the years are noticeable."

[4.0] "Not a great start to the show but I do like the Gunns more than most and the crowd loves the Hardyz so it was alright, just not a hot match to start with."

[2.0] "Hardy Boyz are 100% washed. Really sad seeing them trotted out as a nostalgia act and moving like they're half their age plus half."

[5.0] "Decent match. A little underwhelming considering the talent involved with a screw job finish that really did not do anything for the match."

[6.0] "This was a nice classic style match with the Hardys being good faces to root for and the Gunns being good heels to hate. Their heel antics were well done and fitting. Thank god Jeff has improved since Double or Nothing. He looked a lot better here. The match itself wasnt very long, so it wasnt able to reach that second gear. The ending was good. The interference from BULLET CLUB Gold made no sense though. And the post match brawl was overbooked to hell, but at least it leads to a match for Collision. 6/10. ***"

[8.0] "the gunns are sick, they've grown to be so good over the past 2 years. truly one of the most entertaining heel acts in the world right now they are a perfect fit for BC Gold. also glad to see Jeff Hardy looking good here."

[5.0] "You know you're not in good shape when The Gunns of all people have to take the lead in your match. All the time I was thinking "man, longevity is not alway a good thing, you gotta know when to hang the boots". At least the post-match brawl was pretty entertaining."

[5.0] "A serviceable opening match that got the Gunns over, deepened their alliance with Bullet Club Gold, and gave Jeff Hardy a storyline exit as he is unable to enter Canada, where AEW will be for the next few weeks. More storyline than match, thankfully, given Jeff's limitations."
