[6.0] "Solid match between future rivals, as Hogan arrives in MSG. Obviously the roles are quite different than what we would later come to expect from these two but it's worked well enough, a young Hogan showed glimpses of his potential."

[6.0] "I believe this is the earliest competitive Hulk Hogan match we have complete footage of, and it's also his Madison Square Garden debut. It's a simple but pretty entertaining match. Hulk has the heel antics down, always playing to the crowd and thwarting DiBiase using underhanded tactics, and even though his moveset is still pretty basic everything he does looks good. I liked Ted's fire in his attempted comeback and his selling was great throughout the match."

[5.0] "Fine little role reversal match from what we are used to seeing with Ted DiBiase playing the babyface and Hulk the heel, it's from the 70's so very slow paced, but they got some pretty good heat on Hogan and the crowd really got behind DiBiase."
