[6.0] "I don't know man, Atsuki Aoyagi is kind of boring. High-flyers are a dime a dozen these days, and some of Aoyagi's counters and flips in this match were eye-rolling. Ishida is regarded as a better wrestler, and that shows here. His counters to Aoyagi's flips were great, and I popped whenever he would kick Aoyagi out of midair. ***"
[8.0] "Very good junior match right here between Aoyagi and Ishida who are two wrestlers I like a lot and am very rarely disappointed by so I had no doubt this match would deliver and indeed, they did everything we asked of them and it was just very cool to watch from start to finish. Good structure, fast action and big moves with everyone performing very well as expected, nothing to say it was what it was supposed to be."
[8.0] "Personally, I prefered this match to the Doi match. Atsuki's highflying is somewhat more dynamic. While Ishida kept up the energy, while using a more striking style."
[8.0] "Atsushi "Generic highflier" Aoyagi not only won this match over someone way cooler, way more charismatic, and an actual better worker than him, but apparently his stupid high-flying resulted in Kaito Ishida getting his arm broken at the end of the match. Wonderful. I am so over high fliers in pro wrestling. They are generic by today's standards and I think they SUCK."
[8.0] "I think Atsuki Aoyagi has had a really strong year and this was another impressive match in his catalogue. Aoyagi came out of the gate hot and then gradually worked back from underneath against the more vicious Ishida. ****"
[7.0] "This was really good, Atsuki has been great as the junior ace in the past year. Ishida kept up with him until the end Aoyagi lands a 450. Unfortunately Kaito got his arm broken at the finish."
[8.0] "Atsuki Aoyagi is just great and delivers every time he steps into the ring. Another great Jr Title match, this time against Kaito Ishida who looked great in the past couple of months in the Junior Tag League and in GLEAT as G-Rex Champion. They teased this match during the Junior Battle Of Glory and had cool interactions there. Now they showed what they can do together and it worked fantastic. Great bout and another good defense for Aoyagi (*** 3/4)"
[8.0] "One of my favorite junior matches in AJPW so far. Aoyagi has so much potential. Ishida is great on his own too. I am very much hoping Aoyagi has a long title run."
[9.0] "Two wrestlers in their 20s just put gas pedal to the metal and had a very exciting match - surprisingly, matches like this became a rarity in current pro-wrestling landscape which is quite a shame. Aoyagi defended his title, but in the last few minutes it became pretty clear that Ishida is a better wrestler even though he lost, so Aoyagi again has something to chase, prove and gain as the Junior champion. El Lindaman, another hungry shark who proved himself to be a tremendous singles wrestler and champion is Aoyagi's next challenger, and I can't wait. ****"
[7.0] "As expected this is a very good match. Kaito Ishida won their first match so this is a revenge for Atsuki Aoyagi, this time the championship is on the line. Kaito Ishida is brutal when he's on top, his kicks and his domination outside the ring shows it really well but he's also really smart with some great reversals like when Aoyagi does his Cartwheel/Backflip that ends with Ishida kicking him. After losing to Naruki Doi and taking his revenge months after, he does the same against Ishida. ***1/2"
