[8.0] "This was a great match. It was announced right before the match that Angelico was injured and would not be able to wrestle, leaving Son of Havoc and Ivelisse to defend the Trios titles on their own. Each time got chances to shine, but eventually the teams were whittled down to the final two. While it was pretty good before, when we got to the last two teams, it went from good to great, with enough space given for all parties to do their spots. In the end, Rey Mysterio, Prince Puma and Dragon Azteca Jr were able to win the Lucha Underground Trios Championships after a great performance. ****1/4"

[6.0] "Well, I have high expectations with this and I felt a little dissapointed. In part it's because apparently Angelico was injured and didn't wrestle on this show. But also because it wasn't what I expected. The first trios tournament finals was a big match for the personal investement on the Unlikely Alliance, but this was kind of thrown together and there wasn't any hook. I mean, all the teams were created just for this tournament and most of them were full of dissensions and problems between members. Also, Fenix had a weird face/heel dynamic at this match that I haven't seen and it felt strange. So it felt a bit pointless. But talking about the match itself, the first sequences felt really coreographed, and on the first part the only team I enjoyed were Cisco and Cortez Castro doing some good tag team wrestling. But the rest of the teams were just doing flips, although the dive train was quite cool. Then Ivelisse beats the shit out of Joey Ryan and she evens hits a german suplex. That was awesome. But then Cortez saves his partner and when he is about to pin her, Ryan asks for the tag, distracting Cortez and allowing Ivelisse to roll him up and eliminating them of the tournament. After that, Havoc enters the ring doing a cool sequence. Jack Evans plays his heel character at perfection, he is really entertaining telling he is the biggest b*tch in the building and not Ivelisse. She hits a canadian destroyer, but thanks to PJ Black's interference she is pinned and eliminated. The the spotfest gets faster and with bigger moves, it was the best part of the match, but sadly it only lasts 3 minutes. Loved Fenix and Dragon Azteca Jr wrestling. Dragon has a great Jumping DDT. Mysterio does his classic moves and wins the match and the titles."

[0.0] "This was yet another terrible match from Lucha Underground, and by now, you know exactly what to expect from them. And what to expect from them is a match with tons of spots and little if anything in the way of psychology and storytelling. The low point was Joey Ryan, who was awful in this match, just awful."

[7.0] "It is a good but too confuse match. I don't like the confuse booking of Fenix with his heel/face not good defined. I don't like the final elimination, the others are good. There are pretty spots in the match and the three masked luchadores work very well as a team. ***1/2"

[5.0] "This was your typical Lucha Underground Trios match. Lots of flips, lots of leg-slaps, and lots of ridiculousness that you are expected to ignore. It was the exact spotfest that I expected it to be once I heard the match announced. Things were already bad from the start, as Angelico was mysteriously unable to compete in the match. He was the only slightly interesting member of the Trios Champions, so that was a real blow. What's worse is that Ivelisse was actually being pushed this match. She gets the best of many of the male wrestlers in very absurd ways that her image just doesn't make believable. She also makes the male wrestlers she interacts with look bad, as they have to act more slow and awkward in the ring as they wait for her to deliver a move to them. Mixed gender matches just aren't working out in Lucha Underground, and the match-ups definitely didn't work here. There's no point trying to make a mediocre female wrestler like Ivelisse look good if it means making the more skilled male wrestlers look worse. Nothing of interest really happens in the match, although at least the old boring Trios champions are eliminated, meaning that we are guaranteed to have a fresh team take the Trios Titles and, ideally, make them interesting again. The match was dumb fun and pretty bland. **3/4"

[6.0] "This was a pretty fun bout for the trios titles. Ivelisse was quite good in this match; I thought that her interactions with Joey Ryan & Jack Evans were pretty awesome. The best part of the match however was the battle between the 2 final teams, Team Fenix & Team Rey Rey. Team babyfaces showed some fire, and I enjoyed Jack Evans' heel antics throughout it. A pretty good match overall. **3/4"

[9.0] "One of the better matches in Trios division in Lucha Underground. The four teams had excellent time for everything and the spots were everywhere in the fight. Leaving two different trios to fight for the belts in the end was okay to get the crowd enjoy the ending of the match. ****1/4"

Multiple stories were told here and the sequences were just nuts and so much fun to watch as well. I did like how the finish played out and I do recommend checking this out. (****)"

[8.0] "A fun, hectic 4-Way match that worked around Angelico's injury by the sheer force of how much was going on here. A ton of storyline stuff with dysfunctional teams against the Lucha Justice League of Rey/Puma/Azteca and the endearing reluctant bond that the remaining members of Team Havoc share. Plenty of great action from top to bottom, with the trio that had their shit together the most coming out of things as the new champions. ****"
