[7.0] "[3.25*] This may be the best match on Action Andrettis whole career. This had a high level of technical wrestling, mostly from Zack, but Andretti did hist part really well. This was a nice mix of technicals and high-flying."
[8.0] "Even if an Andretti's victory was unthinkable, ZSJ did everything to put over his younger mate, while Andretti took this very chance to shine. He had the crowd in the palm of his hands, and had the occasion to display some great comebacks in the face of a Sabre Jr. who took a lot of pleasure to bully his challenger. A great mix of styles, while ZSJ put on a great limb-work to emphasise the babyface in jeopardy story with Andretti kept up with those spots. The finish looked absolutely ruthless. A superb showcase for Action Andretti, he deserves it."
[7.0] "Very predictable yet very good: both men's styles matched up well and the action was good throughout the entire match. Sabre Jr. worked very well on the arm and Andretti's comeback was well excecuted. And the ending was great with that sick submission to both arms by ZSJ. 7/10 - 3.75*/5*"
[8.0] "Another pretty good match for this edition of Rampage. This was Andrettis best Singles Match yet, to be honest. It definitely helps that his opponent is one of the best technical wrestlers in the world at the moment, in ZSJ. However, Andretti has shown promise as well. I think he has the tools to be a star someday, but he just needs to put everything together."
[6.0] "Zack Sabre is so good at making me watch his matches even with non-entities. Earlier this year it was his bout against Blake Christian and now Andretti. I don't want to write AA off but he hasn't impressed me since his win over Jericho late last year. His selling throughout was inconsistent but has room to improve. I did love the suplex though I don't know if that was a botch or actually intentional"
[8.0] "First match for Zack Zabre Jr on a AEWs TV show and a very strong match. Action Andretti deserve better in the future, he was a strong opponent in this match. The crowd give to the match a very good feeling overall."
[8.0] "This was a match that left me scratching my head because I thought them 2 having a completely different style of wrestling would mess this up, but it didn't. ZSJ and Andretti had a fun mix of technical and high flying wrestling. ZSJ wins with a double armbreaker . 7.5 out of 10. ***3/4"
[8.0] "Very nice match. Zack was great as usual with his arm work. Andretti showed some good comeback and fire and was given time to shine. The action overall was good. The crowd reacted well to the finish in particular and the whole match in general."
[8.0] "What a brutal ending with that hold! My husband was cringing while we watched. Zack is a master. Contrast his mat work to the dull mat work of the Shibata match, and Zack is leagues more entertaining."
[9.0] "Loved Sabre Jr limb work in this match as always and Andretti played the babyface well with him drawing sympathy and having a great comeback in this match. Everything worked very well in this one. Best technical match on the card."
[7.0] "There is Zack Sabre Jr. and then there is everyone else. No wrestler makes me rewind a match more than ZSJ. Everything he does is thoughtful, precise, and with a purpose. And while he typically goes from target to target in a seamless manner, he proved to be beyond capable of working the style that American fans are accustomed to from technical wrestlers as he focused precisely on the left arm of Action Andretti. And that final sequence was genuinely superb. The commentators questioning why he was going after the right arm after working over the left, only for the setup to lead to Clarky Cat was magnificent. As for Action Andretti, the upside is clear. He has explosive athleticism on his side, which always helps. His comebacks seemed to come at the perfect time, as well, making me genuinely believe in his status as a viable contender. All in all, a damn good match that I am happy to have seen on American television. 3.75 stars, 7.5 out of 10."
[8.0] "Really impressive work by Zack, and good on Andretti to keep up and hit his spots. ZSJ imposes his will early in a creative take on wrist control, then sells very convincingly on a few big spots, and finally looks ruthless in the finish. Especially given the relatively short amount of time, this is a great example of how to do an emphatic submission victory without necessarily diminishing an up-and-comer. I appreciated that there was no commercial break, too."
[8.0] "Now this was a wrestling match. Zack Sabre Jr. continues to be one of the best technical wrestlers active today. Props to Action Andretti for being able to keep his own in this match. Hes a star in the making alongside Takeshita and Garcia. Keep an eye on him. My only real complaint having to die with this was the pacing. It was kinda slow for a while, but it wasnt really boring, so that kinda evens it out. Anyways, this was a nice break from AEWs continuous spotfest bullshit. Fingers crossed for an eventual Danielson/ZSJ match (possibly at Forbidden Door or All In). ****"
[7.0] "Excellent work from Zack in the early going. At one point thought it might be a near total squash but Andretti got some great comebacks late on that I really enjoyed. Another banger from a great title reign"
[9.0] "Very solid technical work for ZSJ as per usual, the work on the arm the ending submission really stick out to me. Action worked well here and had a good showcase of offence although the result was never really in doubt."
[7.0] "Solid bout with Zack Sabre Jr. dominating for the most part, although Action Andretti had a late rally. Never in doubt with the big Jeff Cobb match coming up this weekend at Dominion."
[8.0] "Very qualitative sprint right here between Sabre and Andretti which for me is surely the best match of the show and I thought it was really well worked with an arm-work from Sabre that allowed the babyface in peril, Andretti in this case, to make very cool comebacks with the crowd behind him and it's a recipe that always works perfectly. Andretti puts in good performances so I thought it was really fun that he had this opportunity against Zack, he logically lost but it was a solid gain of momentum for the champion before his Dominion match with Jeff Cobb, maybe where he'll lose the title by the way."
[6.0] "Good presentation of ZSJ's strengths, especially now he's more comfortable in front of American audiences. Andretti's arm selling was inconsistent but good when focused on. Crowd was impressively hot given how different this was from the opener."
