His presence meant nothing. He hit a splash to outside the ring on one of Jericho's goon lying on the table and then went backstage. Wtf? Wasn't he supposed to be a special enforcer? Then things start a bit slow with Jericho and Cole wrestling inside the ring. Yes it was definitely slow. Cole tries to hit his Panama Sunrise destroyer many times but fails. I liked the part with the fire extinguisher. Britt getting her revenge on Jericho was very sweet. Then Cole beating the shit out of Jericho was another good point of the match. The finish was a bit clunky since referee decided on her own to finish the match. A lot of people think that Cole should have pinned Jericho after hitting him with his chain wrapped knee but I think Jericho submitting would have been far better. |

Cole is coming off of injuries that could've ended his career, wrestling against a legend who, granted is going some amazing stuff in recent years, is no spring chicken. Yes, he's been in some bloody feuds recently, but he has done it in group matches. I can understand the need for him to be protected somewhat. Cole off the table was scary to watch but a good moment, the Kendo battering from Cole and Baker was great but for some reason the crowd was booing it. No idea why... clearly DMD had a score to settle too - this made total, perfect sense in the match. I think just some simple uses of the chair, or Floyd could've been used to make this pack a bit more sting. Still, I enjoyed it. Cannot vote yet, but I intend to give this a 6 out of 10. |
