[7.0] "Awesome different style fight that deserves more attention. Massive props to Johnston who made Ogawa work for everything and didn't pull his strikes too much like a lot of MMA guys do when they crossover into pro wrestling. This resulted in a legitimate feel to the match where there was constant back and forth with both guys being saved by a rope break on multiple occasions. I love a good styles clash and that's exactly what this was - Johnston is a much more well rounded fighter and had Ogawa in trouble often, until he would suddenly pull out a devastating throw. The lead up to the finish really puts the cherry on top. Ogawa tries and tries and tries to hit the STO, but every time Johnston manages to counter in a new way. Then after wearing him down enough, Ogawa pulls out the single best STO ever hit. Johnston takes a high angle neck bump and is basically out, Ogawa just puts on a choke and then the ref calls the match because Johnston is totally unconscious. Definitely recommended to anyone who can appreciate a good different style fight now and again. (3.75*)"
