[9.0] "Früher hätte mich dieser Comicbuch-Bösewicht Akt der Elite sehr gestört, aber mal ganz ehrlich, man muss auch einfach mal dieses ganze Pro Wrestling Zeugs mit mehr Spaß nehmen. Hier waren so viele geile und erinnerungswürdige Spots dabei, da kann man nur das Match geil finden. Elgin hat klar auf Seiten der Faces am meisten überzeugt, aber Tanahashi und Tatsu waren solide. Hätte einfach richtig viel Spaß bei diesem Match(****1/4)."

[6.0] "Für mich war das zu sehr ein One Man Elgin Show bei den Herausforderern. Sein Standing am bei der NJPW Crowd ist schon krass, doch hier wurde das Spotlight zu sehr auf ihn gelegt. Yoshitatsu kenn ich nur aus WWE Zeit, hier ist er bei den ganzen Hochkaretern ziemlich untergegangen. The Elite st hier meiner Meinung nach etwas wacky unterwegs Der Titel ist einfach so unbedeutend das es egal ist wer ihn hält Match war Okay, mehr aber auch nicht(***1/4)"

[8.0] "The NEVER 6-Man Championships seem to exist to prove my theory that the Young Bucks are best as two-thirds of a heel trio. The Elite as a sub-group of Bullet Club has been killing it, putting on great matches in NJPW and ROH, with this being no exception. Tons of neat heel antics here against the always-over Ace of the Universe and the inexplicably over gaijin hoss Elgin, along with Yoshitatsu, who at times seems to be more along for the ride than anything. Still, a great trios match, and a good setup for Elgin vs Omega later on. Aerosol cans are the future of heel tactics."

[10.0] "I might be in the minority, but I thought this match was absolutely great. The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega are really in their element in these PWG-style six man tags, and it feels so different than anything you usually see in New Japan. All six guys worked their asses, the comedy worked really well, and the finish with Michael Elgin intercepting the Indytaker was fantastic. I love these NEVER Openweight Trios belts. ****1/2"

[8.0] "Sehr starkes Comeback von Yoshitatsu und ein richtig tolles Match mit einigen starken Szenen. Ich fand das so lustig wie Hiroshi und Michael die Sprühdosen nahen und damit die ELITE attackierte. Inzwischen finde ich Hiroshi und Michael als Tag Team richtig stark und mit Yoshitatsu kann es auch gut werden. Sehr schönes NEVER Openweight Six Man Tag Team Championship Match (***1/2)."

[7.0] "Good match, kind of similar to a Yano match in that it's kind of difficult to rate because it wasn't really a proper match. For what it was though it was definitely good. It was essentially a crazy PWG style brawl around the arena with trash cans, dives from balconies, and lots of hairspray. If that's your thing then you'll definitely enjoy this one"

[6.0] "I surprisingly didn't like this. It was too spotty for me and Tanahashi is not suited for those kind of matches. Omega's antics are too over the top and take me out of the match. It doesn't help that the Young Bucks, who to me typically find the sweet spot between workrate and character work in their matches, also turn up their gimmick a notch too high when they team up with Omega. I loved Elgin in this though."

[8.0] "Wirklich spaßiges Match um den New Japan Never Openweight Trios Titel. Elgin, Tatsu und Tanahashi sind die "serious Contender" die wirklich kämpfen um sich das Gold zu sichern. Auf der anderen seite ist die Elite! Die 3 sind einfach nur sowas von Whacky. Sie fliegen durch die gegend, Shooten gegen die WWE und sprühen mit Haarspray den Gegnern in die Augen. Ich liebe es! Klare Empfehlung von mir wenn man etwas spaß zwischendurch haben will."
