[6.0] "A highly entertaining marquee gimmick tag. There's not much "work" to this, but it doesn't need that to be fun. As an abstracted standalone, it does less for us than for the arena crowd, but it still does plenty."
[8.0] "This match is just fantastic in so many different ways. First off, just seeing Hulk and Andre as a tag team is pretty amazing, kinda like seeing a volcanic eruption during a solar eclipse or something. The four heels do a tremendous job of getting their asses kicked from pillar to post, but every now and then they do manage to gain a (temporary) advantage over the dynamic duo. This was back when pro wrestling was essentially a morality play starring the Three Stooges and this match had me smiling from ear to ear for 27 minutes straight. This thing is pure spectacle and I enjoyed every second of it; it may not be "great" wrestling from a technical standpoint, but from a pure entertainment perspective is phenomenal stuff."
[7.0] "It can be a little hard to comprehend what is going on sometimes because of the camera not always focusing on the right man. Still this match is just pure dumb fun and we can see that Hogan and Andre are having a blast tearing off the Heenan group."
[9.0] "Excellent old match here, this was a hoot. Hogan and Andre are the super strong babyface combo, very hot with the crowd, taking on Heenan and Bock and some of their top men in a wild fight. Very enjoyable."
[8.0] "An absolute morish affair that will leave you grinning like Andre does here as he gets under the skin of Heenan's family. Andre is still agile here and he run though his catalogue of giant spots. There's plenty of things that modern big men could steal here, such as how Andre uses his giant arse to stop the heel as they are running the ropes. Hulk is super intense here and works rather snug, with his axe bomber and leg drop having an extra layer of stiffness that what you wouldn't usually expect out of him. Herman and his goons do a tremendous job stooging about for the monster babyfaces. People who claim that Andre and Hogan don't know how to wrestle need to get their eyes on this bout."
[7.0] "Until about 70% of the way through this match things were really creatively done with the stipulation of the handicap match, the crowd was super into it, but after that point things got a bit messy in the ring, including Andre breaking up his own partner's pin at one point. Still though it was an entertainment match over an athletic competition and I think it did that pretty well."
[7.0] "Amazing hidden gem. Hulk Hogan, whose Hulkamania has not yet reached the WWF, is teaming up with Andre the Giant against Heenan's Family, his worst enemies. And it was a lot of fun watching their duo deal with 4 opponents at the same time. 7 points."
