[7.0] "Fun brawl to open the show. Nothing super exciting, but it was a good way to showcase Knight as a face that fans love and Clark's new attitude and character. The post match beatdown also solidified both men."

[4.0] "4.5 - Cold open with a hot crowd. Connors fits Finlay's Bullet Club in all the worst ways, namely by being a charisma vacuum. Only upside was Knight's athletic moves, and a few didn't hit flush."

[6.0] "A decent fight, I thought it would be more frenetic seeing how it started but there was a normal development and I think it doesn't stand out much, although some moves were good."

[6.0] "Enjoyed this. Connors showed great aggression in his new heel gimmick and every time I see Knight I become more of a fan, he's just ultra athletic. Nice compact story told and a good way to get the tournament started. ***1/4"

[4.0] "This match felt like a long 20 to me. I love Clark but this BC gimmick is way too try hard. Reminds me a lot of Hangman in Bullet Club trying to be a heel. The match was so so. nothing stood out memorable."

[5.0] "Solid opener. Connors does some real boring heel control segments but Knight is great at bringing the match to something more interesting."

[5.0] "Legitimately one of the most boring heat segments of the year. Connors isn't a heel and Bullet Club is cooked. I almost clicked off but I stayed for the brief Kevin Knight comeback, he's very good. Nothing match."

[6.0] "A decent match, but I don't like Clark Connors as a Heel at all. He feels casted in the wrong role. He is a natural Babyface to the core. However, the post match attack was smart, Clark gets Heel heat, while Kevin Knight gets over as a sympathetic Babyface who should sell injuries from the chair attack for the rest of the tournament, while setting off a feud between them."

[5.0] "The first part was really bad but the second part was a good High Flying showcase, especially for Connnors. **1/2"

[8.0] "This wasn't a long match , but there was plenty of nice athleticism, and the technical execution was perfect. It was a really good first step toward establishing Connors as the heel to beat for this tournament. ***3/4"

[6.0] "A really nice way to start the tournament. The crowd was hot and both of these former Young Lions delivered strong performances. Kevin Knight just oozes star potential and Clark Connors has the potential to be a NEVER Openweight Champion many times over. This was raw and physical, and done in a way that made a pretty straightforward set of attacks feel meaningful. Start to finish, a solid bout that continued a story that I would guess is far from over. 3.25 stars, 6.5 out of 10."

[6.0] "After an emotionally charged press conference yesterday, Clark Connors sucker punched Kevin Knight. Knight retuned the favor here and took an early advantage, but Clark quickly came back and proceeded to beat the bricks off Knight for five or so minutes. Worked over Kevin into a good comeback the crowd was fully behind, but a new finisher and Gedo distraction would get Clark his first win of the year. Post match Clark brutally beat Kevin with a chair. Expect this one to be pretty important for both mens BOSJ30. For an extended squash, it was good."

[8.0] "Kevin Knight vs Clark Connors-Super fun opener to kick off BOSJ this year as Clark looked brutal in his offense as Kevin did great as an underdog comeback. That spear on Kevin looked fucking brutal good stuff."
