[6.0] "An actually good triple threat main event, but Roman Reigns winning is always most predictable ever, Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar feud is too pointless and basic to care. Dean Ambrose being the star of the match to glue everything up as expected, just like any other third or even fourth party to make the match involving Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns look actually great. It should be 7/10, but I give 6/10 since it is a typical match involving Brock and Roman. [***1/4]"

Ambrose was an awesome underdog besides clearly being worse in-ring wise than Jon Moxley. Lesnar was a beast as always and Roman was good too. The crowd was hot for Ambrose and they showed great chemistry and storytelling."

Going in im sure we all thought and knew roman would win but there was times in there where it looked like ambrose might get it done. Huge pop for when reigns and ambrose started going at it finally. 4.25 stars"

[8.0] "This match is a very fun little gem. A bit like the more famous Fatal 4 Way of Summerslam 2017, it was almost 20 minutes of beating and fun, with the crowd very invested and the great intensity of the 3 participants. As mentioned, a lot of fun, and it allowed Fastlane 2016, overall a quite lackluster PPV, to end with something positive."

[8.0] "Brock Lesnar to me was easily the best part about this match, his interactions with Ambrose specifically. Dean selling the pain of Brock's move while also fighting back in the process was great. Brock dominating the early going up until Reigns and Ambrose are able to take him out with the table spot was awesome, then doing it again really put Brock over as a monster. Roman, Dean one on one interaction was solid. There's a cool spot when he comes back with the double german suplex. Brock has Roman in a kimura at one point after Reigns had just hit a spear and Ambrose smacks Brock with a chair up until he is out of the match. When Ambrose turns around he gets hit with a spear and Roman wins. I dug the story of Roman and Dean trying to fight each one-on-one for a title match at WrestleMania and taking out Brock at all cost but he keeps getting up.****1/4"

They worked fine together, but it was pretty formulaic and predictable, not to mention the insistence that WWE had at this point in trying to force Reigns as a face and resulted in him being booked to win when he absolutely should not have been. A few good spots, but probably not really worth a second watch."

[8.0] "The winner of this will go on to face Triple H for the title at Wrestlemania and the crowd is clearly rooting for an Ambrose win here. Ambrose might have weak-looking strikes, but Lesnar doesn't sell them as death blows, so it didn't look too hokey. We get some nutty three-man spots such as Reigns spearing Lesnar as he had Ambrose for the F5 and Lesnar German suplexing Reigns at the same time as Reigns had Ambrose up in a fireman's carry. Brock was booked to be unstoppable here, with Reigns and Ambrose having to work together and put him through two announce tables to neutralize him. Reigns and Ambrose work some flashy sequences until Brock is able to return to the match. Brock has Roman in the Kimura, but Ambrose pummels him with the chair until he's out of the match for good. Roman spears Ambrose just as he's finished with Brock and wins the match. This was a moreish three-way match that went just the right time and had plenty of big spots and momentum shifts to keep you interested."

[8.0] "Great spotfest between Ambrose, Reigns and Lesnar here as you'd expect to close this show and it was the absolute best match of the night without a shadow of a doubt as it was so qualitative, I can understand that it's not everyone's cup of tea but I find this match quite underrated in the conversation of the big main events we've seen in the main roster in recent years. It was a multi-man match that reminded me of the big three-way attractions of the Attitude Era with big names, star power and just a great selling poster that will make people sit their asses in a chair and also make them want to subscribe to the WWE Network to watch it. This match was non-stop action for seventeen minutes and it was a blast to watch, all three performed well and it was especially the Brock Lesnar Show because it was all about him. It was cool to see Ambrose & Reigns team up to take down the monster with two Shield Powerbomb's through the commentary tables, and it was even cooler to see Brock come back as a real beast. Lots of finishers, big moves, a hot crowd, real stakes, it was definitely excellent even if the result wasn't the right call given that HHH vs Reigns and Lesnar vs Ambrose at 'Mania 32 were both very bad."

[7.0] "As with all WWE-style three-way matches, this one followed a pattern one guy getting taken out of the equation so that the other two could go against each other. This was a really good match, but nothing about it really stood out beyond the well told story that Brock Lesnar was a monster."
Shiza kun wrote on 28.05.2018:
[7.0] "A pretty solid triple-threat, even if it was sadly very predictable. Ambrose was the MVP of this match for sure, provoking Lesnar on many occasions and directing traffic to keep him out of the match with Roman's help powerbombing him through 2 tables. I liked the dynamic of the two friends teaming up so they themselves can battle it out, but overall, this match was a weaker version of the Lesnar/Cena/Rollins match a year earlier, even if the action was borderline great at times. ***3/4"
Dragon Fighter wrote on 30.12.2017:
[7.0] "This was really good main event in a not very good show. Lesnar did his usual suplexes, which looked great. Ambrose was definitely the most over guy here and he played face role well. This was what you expected from a 3 way formula. All moves and fast action. I would have given higher rating if it hadn't been for the ending. Reigns almost no sold the chair shot stood up and hit the spear for the win. Very underwhelming result which the crowd didn't like it. Ambrose as i thought at that time was added just to eat the pin."

[9.0] "I understand why people hate this match so much. Coz Roman won. He basically unsells Ambrose's chair shots and wins rather oddly. But truth is before all that went down, we got great action and some great storytelling moments. Dean and Roman working together to keep the big guy down was awesome. Dean getting into Brock's face was as well. And Dean bringing out the chair to level Roman and Brock was a great character moment for Dean. Dean clearly was the star in the match, and Brock came off as the most unbelievably monstrous human being of all time. No complains."

But it was unpredictable results, and not on the effort to make a WWE match those. Pro tricks performed in the match, even to say no, none of them showed nothing. If I Meltzer, I would not put up a triple."

Lesnar was really well protected, Ambrose was indeed a crazy bastard, and Roman Reigns was.. Roman Reigns. You know what it means. Overall I would call it a **** 1/4 match, but the ending sucked, so I give it *** 3/4."

[10.0] "Not as good as the triple threat match at last year's Royal Rumble and marred by a terribly illogical finish, but this was easily the best match so far this year in WWE and one of the best WWE matches in a while. A motivated Brock Lesnar not relegated to house show squash matches is still incredible, and it was a fresh matchup executed well up until the finish."

[7.0] "The match has great moments, even tables can't escape the destruction, with some Shield classics. The only thing that does not work is the ending with Roman Reigns who can do everything after being hitten with chairshots. Brock Lesnar was on mode Super City from the beginning to the end, Dean Ambrose proved again to be the perfect main eventer, too bad he is not going to win that title. ***1/2"

[4.0] "Meh match. They did tell a pretty nice story w/ Ambrose & Reigns taking out The Beast together, because they knew they couldn't win without him completely out. BUT the action in the match wasn't gripping or engaging at all, and the best parts of the match were definitely the Ambrose & Lesnar interactions, and there weren't nearly enough of those. This wasn't a totally awful match, but it definitely wasn't good either. **"

[6.0] "Alright match. For the first time Ambrose really impressed me, and I finally saw what everyone else who was saying "Ambrose should main event Wrestlemania! " saw. His selling was phenomenal here. He made Brock's moves look even more powerful than usual, and the way he struggled to his feet and still dished out his best shots despite his injured state was great. As expected, Lesnar was an absolute powerhouse and put on a great display. Reigns was eh the entire time. Every time he got involved with the other two it was heavily booed, and rightfully so, as he was taking away from the enjoyment that Ambrose and Lesnar's chemistry was creating. I did like when Ambrose and Reigns put Lesnar through two tables and buried him, although there should have been a shot of Lesnar bursting out from the rubble. That would have been really epic. The ending was completely ridiculous. Ambrose gets a steel chair and beats down both Lesnar and Reigns, but then Lesnar rolls out of the ring, Ambrose gets distracted by it, and suddenly Reigns is up on his feet, clearly not remembering that he was just beat down with a steel chair, and he spears Ambrose and pins him. It was completely unrealistic, or maybe WWE had just started buying really cheap steel chairs, hence why Reigns could shrug off his beating so easily. We all knew Reigns would win because, despite knowing what the fans want, it's basic knowledge that WWE is stupid enough to think that pushing Reigns on us will eventually work. ***1/4"

[9.0] "I really enjoyed this match. Of course I didn't like the finish but the match was fun. The structure of the match was similar to Lesnar vs Rollins vs Cena, however this was different in the storytelling that came when Ambrose and Reigns faced off. I thought this was exciting but maybe I'm just in the minority"

[7.0] "I really wanted this match to blow me away. It really didn't. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but it wasn't really great, and definitely not enough to salvage an overall really poor PPV. Ambrose's role was awesome, I will admit, and Lesnar is as fantastic as usual, but the overall structure just felt a bit too average for a match on the level it was hyped up to be, and the finish was just about the most flaccid ending to a PPV main event I've seen in quite a while, and that's saying something when talking about modern WWE. No amount of Lesnar offense or Ambrose selling is enough to make Roman's misguided push come across any better. I really wish this match was fantastic, and WWE's first great match of 2016, but it's not. This is just a decent three-way match with a bad aftertaste. ***3/4"

[7.0] "I gave this match *** 1/2 stars out of 5. Really enjoyed the narrative of the "brothers" taking out the "beast" in order to fight each other for the WrestleMania spot. Dean Ambrose was the stand out star of this match. I also enjoyed the nice spot with Ambrose trying the tope on Lesnar only to get it countered into a belly to belly suplex. Good match, but I wouldn't consider it great."
