[8.0] "A match full of stiff strikes and a few sick bumps, but which went on too long for its own good. This could've been an incredible sprint at half the length, ala Necro's classics with Joe & Danielson. Still, they really stiffed the dogshit out of each other and that finish kicked ass. ***3/4"

[9.0] "A brutal, striking-heavy clash that delivers most of what fans want when two indie legends go at it. While it can't quite match the mythic aura of Necro's 2005 war with Samoa Joe, it carves out its own identity: a wild brawler against a precise assassin. Ki's kicks, dropkicks, and chops land clean and vicious, while Necro's punches are thunderous, turning every swing into a moment of real danger. Their dynamic, Ki's calculated strikes vs. Necro's chaotic brawling, drives the match, from rope tangles to double stomps, creating tension in even the smaller, scrappy spots. Necro's selling is superb, particularly during Ki's extended heat segment, giving the match a Funk-esque feel of genuine agony and desperation. The action occasionally suffers from pacing issues; the middle section drags a bit, and the table spot, while shocking and effective, feels slightly contrived. Still, those are minor quibbles in a 20-minute bout packed with intensity, character, and pure fighting spirit. In the end, it's two of my all-time favourites beating the hell out of each other, and that alone makes it worth watching. A thrilling scrap that falls just short of classic, but still a standout performance. ****1/4"

[8.0] "Extremely watchable brawl that's in the vein of the much more famous Samoa Joe vs. Necro Butcher IWA-MS match where we see Necro get an unholy ass beating from a much more traditional 2000s indie legend. The very hot crowd is largely behind Necro the whole time which really helps and Low Ki does a great job putting over the offense (especially punches) that Necro does get in"

[8.0] "This is basically the inverse of the Necro Butcher vs Samoa Joe match from the year before. That match was basically a fast, violent, bloody sprint and this is a drawn out slow build to a big finish. I think this proves Necro Butcher is a better wrestler than some people give him credit for. His selling is really great in this as well. Low Ki with hair is really cursed and I don't want to see that again."

Necro hit Ki with one of the gnarliest Tiger Drivers I've ever seen, and Ki follows that up with a badass Warrior's Way through a table, before making Necro pass out with the Dragon Sleeper."

[6.0] "I usually like Butcher's outside brawls thanks to how he sells and how much punishment he's willing to take, but I feel like this really didn't work with Ki for some reason, I'm not sure if it was the match itself or if Ki and him don't have much chemistry in this department. Everything in the ring though, is pretty good, some really insane stuff here."

[10.0] "Oh boy, a clash of two of the toughest whack jobs you could hope to find out there. I don't think I'd much like to have a conversation with either of these guys but holy hell can they ever beat the crap out of each other. There's no doubt that Necro, star of The Wrestler (never not funny to remember), has the size advantage, but Low Ki is as explosive a wrestler as you're likely to see. What's more he approaches the match with a definite strategy, entering from an unexpected direction and pretty much blitzkrieging Butcher from the word go. Despite the size difference Low Ki dominates much of the match with just ridiculously great looking offense, beating Butcher all around the ring with chops and devastating looking kicks. Don't get me wrong, Butcher gets his attacks in as well and they look damn good, but Low Ki applies the pressure tremendously through this whole match. And good thing he did, as Necro is not a guy who can go down easily and keeps fighting back from every barrage of attacks. Even after a wild looking double stomp through a table, Necro will not stop. Low Ki ends up having to apply a smothering submission that separates Butcher from his consciousness, as the ref (our man Bryce Remsburg by the way) finally calls the match over. Truly awesome stuff."

[7.0] "A real indie mudshow match (though that's not really a bad thing). Low Ki looked good here and he pulled off the stiff kicks well. Still don't really like the guy, but he was pretty impressive here. Then we've got the Necro Butcher, who is one of the most un-wrestler type of wrestlers I've ever seen. He can really bump his ass off and his Tiger Driver didn't actually look half bad. To be honest, this isn't my type of match but I'm sure this is a real classic if it is your cup of tea."

[9.0] "It's easy to dismiss Low Ki due to his size but he was an absolute killer in this. He was scary with his stalking of Necro and his violent kicks. Even the soft ones to the end as a warning could've knocked someone silly. Necro, to his credit, took it all like a champion. His selling was outstanding and his hope spots were well worked. The Double foot stomp through the table was insane. ****1/2"

It was just an insanely physical match but Necro absolutely got the worst of it and he sold like death accordingly. That table spot was insane."

[9.0] "The only other really great Necro Butcher match lol. This match was an awesome brawl with both guys just beating the hell out of each other. This started very hot with both guys brawling from the opening bell; while I would've preferred they keep the match going like that, they slowed down to take the match back in the ring. Butcher obviously wasn't on Low Ki's level, but he was booked damn strong and capable of having an even back and forth match, ****1/2."

[10.0] "A relatively unsung classic, one of my favourite matches ever. 20 minutes of utter barbarism. Both Low Ki and Necro exude this genuine aura of danger and it makes the whole match so compelling as they absolutely kick the heck out of each other and the crowd react with a kind of gleeful horror. Low Ki is the better pure striker and obviously the better overall wrestler but Necro has so much heart and puts in an incredible underdog performance; he may be outmatched in almost every department but he goes down with an amazing fight. This is an awesome reminder of how wild and unhinged and scary and addictive pro wrestling can be. I could watch this match twice a day every day and I don't think it would lose much of its impact."

[10.0] "An amazing strike fest and true classic match up. It told a great story of this epic battle from start to finish. Low Ki starting the match by aggressively ambushing Necro was the perfect start as it made Ki look like he knew he was in for a fight and him being the smaller guy he played the role of "small but deadly" kicking machine perfectly and Necro Butcher gave everything to the crowd with those crazy spots and awesome selling. I can`t believe that the rating is not actually higher and also i can`t believe someone would give this under **** stars. Even if you`re not a fan of these guys you would have to agree that it was a instant classic. Also the guys had a couple of re-matches and any of those did not quite match the intensity and brilliance of this one so it was one of a kind match. ****¾"
