[7.0] "Very charming piece of television that's entirely at home in this setting. The PC is fully invested in the soap opera backdrop and responds accordingly, with the work gleefully meeting them halfway. Briggs and Jensen's clobbering is a theme throughout but Henley's fire is swiftly the centrepiece, embracing this atmosphere with refreshing aggression and intensity. ***1/4"
[7.0] "A perfect example of how a long term story can lift a match. This soap opera storyline involving the romance between Kiana and Brooks has been so camp but it has elevated all 4 competitors in the crowds eyes. The crowd were hot throughout this match. Especially when the women were wrestling, however Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen wrestling was awesome. They hit so hard and had amazing chemistry. This was the rightful end to this sort A true gem on NXT"
[4.0] "If I was rating the storyline this would get a 0. Ignoring that, the match wasn't good either. Boring and overly long. It wasn't the worst thing you'll ever see but I can't make any sense out of the current rating. Even the Full Sail crowd seemed disinterested in a lot of this."
[6.0] "Solid match that's boosted by the entertaining storyline. Glad to see Jensen didn't permanently turn heel, and I'm excited to see where things go from here."
[5.0] "Decent mixed tag team match, though it did go on a little too long. The action was fine, nothing special. The story involving these four has been stupid, drawn out and impossible to care about, so thankfully it appears to be over. 5/10"
[5.0] "... What? This match was okay at best. An alright tag match that had almost no heat and the big moment where Jensen kits Kiana with the purse he missed by a mile. This swhole story was very bad with atrocious skits. It's over, I guess."
[9.0] "A very good story match, the match was entertaining, Fallon looked very good, and Brooks and Kiana showed improvement, Briggs delivered a nice lariat to Brooks"
[5.0] "It was okay for a mixed tag team match that was heavy on story. James wanting Jensen to cheat with the bag while the referee was standing there in the ring is a dumb spot to do. You should at least try to distract the referee because it looked too silly. (**1/2)"
[6.0] "This match with Josh Briggs/Fallon Henley vs Brooks Jensen/Kiana James did NOT need to go as long as they did here. It should NOT have lasted over 1 commercial break either. It's a midcard storyline where none of the 4 workers here are THAT good in the ring. At best, this tag match would've been better off if it lasted under 7 minutes. I personally thought this match dragged, and this is coming from someone who can be REALLY generous with my evaluation of wrestling matches."
[5.0] "Struggling to understand what other people saw in this. It was basic, standard and predictable action that hopefully wrapped up a storyline no one could possibly care about. **1/2"
[5.0] "OK match given the storyline. Hopefully it's over now with Kiana James having given up on the whole thing. Poor Brooks Jensen still hasn't scored."
[7.0] "This was easily the best match of the show. The opening portion between Briggs and Jensen was dull and uninspired but things picked up once Fallon and Kiana got in there. Briggs and Jensen then also upped their game, picked up the intensity and were laying in some nice forearms. Jensen knocking Kiana off the apron was a bit clunky, I'm still not sure what supposedly happened, but it led to the finish when a distracted Jensen was wiped out by a nice lariat from Briggs. Post match, Kiana finally kicked Jensen the Goofball Virgin to the curb, which I liked, but I was less pleased that Briggs immediately comforted him, far too fast of a turn around given the goofball's recent betrayal and antics, but there you go."
[9.0] "This was actually my match of the night and I felt like it was a true showcase for the longest running story in NXT. Everyone got their shine here, especially Josh Briggs who looked like an absolute beast here."
[7.0] "They were put in a tough spot after following Grayson/Carmelo but this was my second favorite overall segment of the show. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the Briggs/Jensen exchanges especially. Reminded me of the Briscoes in when the Briscoes had to get back in the swing of things, they fought it out with each other (and typically brought out the best in one another.) Fallon showed some great intensity at points and I feel is a bit underrated. Im glad the story is continuing at least as it is one of the most intriguing from the brand. Placed in a spot that did not follow Grayson/Carmelo and the crowd may have been more energized for it."
[6.0] "A surprisingly good fight. No wonder they say that former best friends are the best rivals in the ring, and this time it turned out the same way. I really liked the interaction between Brooks and Josh, she and the girls also tried. But the crowd was somehow too dead, especially in the end. Although the duel clearly deserved a normal reaction."
