[9.0] "This was a wild, chaotic brawl between the Freebirds and the Von Erichs. Hell, even Mike wasn't bad in this wild fracas. Not as good as their previous year's encounter. I remember being less impressed with this on a previous viewing, but this was fantastic. One of the few victories the Freebirds would gain."
[7.0] "Blood dripping everywhere, women screaming, boots flying - what more could I ask for? It's a well-executed Street Fight, light on flashy spots but heavy on raw intensity, with six guys settling a grudge by stiffing each other while the crowd loses their minds. It's believable, chaotic, and gritty - exactly how it should be."
[8.0] "Now this is a wild brawl, back and forth, with neither team on offense for a long time. This is the kind of match that comes across more like a fight than a wrestling match, and it's a blast. Killer Khan runs in to take out Kerry Von Erich so the Freebirds don't win clean, to continue the feud with the Von Erichs. Just great stuff. Four Stars."
[2.0] "This match was impossible to follow. I don't really even know if we can call it a match to be honest, it's just six dudes that hate each other in a fist fight. It's ridiculous, there is no story being told, there is no climax, and there isn't even really a true finish. They just hit their time cue and the Freebirds get a pin. The crowd is absolutely RABID for it, so I can't give this a zero, but yeah, you can skip this match."
[7.0] "Absolute chaos throughout the match. It was nearly impossible to keep track of everything on a single viewing. I get the short match time but I wish there was a little more order, personally, so we could pay better attention, and the interference ending wasn't great to me. But the brothers working together so well was great to see. This is a better angle than a match in my opinion."
[8.0] "10 minutes of absolute carnage. It's crazy to see how wild the crowds went for wrestling in the 80s. They were in to every punch, kick and bump. Shoes flying into the ring and all sorts. The chaos really adds to the sense of real hatred between these two trios, but without having the benefits of having seen the entire feud or having lived through it first time round, it does start to get a little over the top. I was ready for it to end about half way through."
[10.0] "A hell of a match. The von Erichs had a lot of great matches and this clash with the Freebirds (one of the best feuds of the early '80s) is one for the record books. This match perfectly exemplifies their feud better than most feud matches do: two groups that just hate each other's guts and want to hurt each other."
