[9.0] "Man, maybe I was am too high or I enjoy the Young Bucks too much but this match was super high on the fun factor and the in ring work was also pretty damn good. It's fairly spot heavy with comedic sequences throughout. Not a massive amount of storytelling or psychology but everything else was pretty good. I also can understand why the average is noticeably far from where I am."

Really nice spot fest with plenty of fun highlights, every team was really good in this match and I feel like I would've liked the match more if the crowd was more invested in it throughout the match instead of only caring about it at the very end."

The crowd is super quiet to start and every time the wrestlers yell at each other it's quite distinct, although the crowd does finally get more involved towards the end. There's an endless amount of jumping to the outside of the ring onto piles of wrestlers in this, and some big comedy spots that are kind of a miss for me, but the best parts are probably anytime Reddragon get to do some double team work. Most of the match just feels like one long run-on sentence honestly."

[8.0] "The match started off a bit sloppy when The Young Bucks attacked reDRagon from behind. They kept control for a little bit. The match got better and was pretty even from then on with each team getting a chance to be in control. There was a lot of high flying style but there was still a mix of styles. The Young Bucks bring a bit of comedy to the match which I guess is pretty good. Ricochet and Sydal get a bit of a comeback on The Bucks with lots of fun offense. Sydal hit a really cool Moonsault onto all the men outside. The Bucks had a lot of control in the match where they were in for a while and they have a lot of good offense not to mention Cody Hall on the outside helping out. reDRragon got some good team offense mainly consisting of great striking and mma style attacks. There was a pretty nice comedy spot with a 10 man suplex. The Young Bucks pretty much stole the win. Ricochet and Sydal hit stereo shooting star presses on Roppongi Vice and then the Bucks came in after sneak tagging and hit More Bang For Your Buck to Roppongi Vice for the win. Lots of action and very fun opening match."

I would've liked a lot more from ReDragon and a little less from the Young Bucks, they were pretty much leading the match even though they were just one of three challengers. Some memorable spots and a nice finish to boot. (***1/2)"

[7.0] "This was a fun, lighthearted spotfest with each team getting enough time to showcase their abilities. Ricochet and Sydal really stood out for their amazing high flying skills, but The Young Bucks and Rocky Romero were very entertaining as well as they got in all their stuff. ReDRagon were pretty good but I felt that they didn't perfectly fit this junior tag spotfest style since they are more serious and more hardhitting. Beretta wasn't bad but he's never really impressed me too greatly and I didn't feel he did much to deserve praise here either. A good match if you don't take it too seriously. ***1/2"

[6.0] "An okay match, did just feel like another Jr Tag match at this point but quite enjoyable nevertheless. Had a lot of good double team moves and it was all very smooth and fast paced. I think Ricochet was the most impressive in the match in my opinion. The dives to the outside were good though at times looked very fake, the 8 man suplex was cool though I believe I could hear the wrestlers counting down which is very kayfabe breaking. Another issue for me was the young bucks, I'm sorry but selling that consists of you shouting 'Ow that hurt! ' has no place in a wrestling ring, just awful. My rating of the match overall though is about ***1/4, decent opener."

[8.0] "-This was another spot mania that we're used to see in these junior tag matches. This was a very good match. Matt Sydal & Ricochet really shined here. This match started with Bullet Club attacking everyone. This match also had some Cody Hall interferences. Young Bucks picked up the victory pinning Rocky Romero. reDRagon is still a very protected act in NJPW. ***¾"

[8.0] "Fun, fast-paced, and full of flips. This is pretty much a Wrestle Kingdom tradition at this point, the big multi-team Jr. Tag clusterfuck, but I feel like this one was definitely strong. Ricochet and Sydal add a lot to it, specifically, while ReDRagon do their thing and RPG Vice play fantastic bases. Plus, I always feel the Bucks are best when they're contributing to chaos around them rather than doing a basic 2v2 tag. The match got very heated towards the end, which is pretty good considering all 8 men are foreigners to the crowd, but the finish was dampered by the Bucks stealing the pins and the belts. Overall, a very good, fun spotfest opener to a great show. ****"

[9.0] "I loved the fast paced action and spots. I don't think it was as much of a spot fest as some call it, but it was nonetheless. The beginning had good wrestling then they went hard in action. I think people need to understand that it's an opening match, and opening matches are meant to livin the crowd up and this was an exciting match to do that ****"

[7.0] "New Japan loves these Junior Tag multi-team spotfests, but they always deliver. Some interesting spots were the 8-man suplex and Ricochet's vertical leap into a springboard Shooting Star Press. Strange decision to put the Bucks over; the belts have been bouncing around recently so I thought they'd have let reDRagon retain, or at least put the gold on the fresh team of Matt Sydal & Ricochet. Great fast-paced opening match and I'd have scored it a little higher if we hadn't already seen basically the same match at every PPV over the last couple of years."
