IYO SKY vs. Michin vs. Piper Niven

[6.0] "Match was actually good, some fluid sequences, time for everyone to showcase themselves, and Io being the amazing wrestler she is and getting a deserved win. I would've loved to see some little storytelling between Io and Piper due to their past in Queen's Quest. The thing is this match doesn't make any sense to begin with. All three wrestlers have been losing lately, so why make them compete for a title shot? I think it would've been better if they made a tournament, a Battle Royal, a Gauntlet (well, this one not really, they overused it on SmackDown), or have Io directly challenge Bianca. And if this doesn't lead to something, I don't find sense in Bayley stepping back out of wanting a Title shot because their lackeys are unhappy with the lack of singles opportunities (***)"

[6.0] "Wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Michin was decent but the crowd do not care about her at all which was a bit awkward at times. Niven used her size well and Sky did her high flying stuff. Not bad. ***"

[7.0] "Very good match considering those involved. Thought everyone got in equal amount of offence and really couldnt tell who was going to get the W. To advance the Bayley storyline it made sense to have iyo sky go over in the match. Really picked up the pace towards the end and was entertaining throughout"

[8.0] "Surprisingly good womens triple threat here, as Michin and Piper have not really had many opportunities to shine on the main roster, so this fight did them justice."

[6.0] "I think Ill never understand the purpose of these titles. Apart from Damage Ctrl (and again I am nice the reign was not flamboyant either), no team is credible and has a reign barely drinkable. In short, a predictable goal with Trishs heel turn, thank you goodbye"

[7.0] "Not sure how any of these 3 deserved to be in a number 1 contenders match but it was a good match. Iyo starred while Piper and Michin looked good. It was good fast pace match to get the most out of their time. Iyo winning was nice and continued the Damage Ctrl story."

[7.0] "A good, solid triple threat match to determine a number one contender. IYO came out to Tokyo Shock, which was a very welcome relief from the Damage CTRL theme. While Piper and Michin were good, this was for sure meant to showcase what IYO can do when she's actually allowed to do her moves. The hurricanrana off the top rope was awesome. IYO won by hitting a moonsault on both Piper and Michin to break up a pinfall, then getting a pin herself. Bayley and Dakota celebrated with IYO in the ring, and while Dakota was happy, Bayley was noticeably annoyed it wasn't her in that spot. Damage CTRL's breakup and IYO's singles run were well set up here. 7/10"

[7.0] "A really good match. Big fan of all 3 of these ladies and hope it leads to more. Io & Bianca should be very good."

[8.0] "Far better match then the earlier womens tag match but I suppose that is what happens when the booking choices arent poor and revolving around the tag titles. Loved the story of Sky having a standout/breakout performance and showing she is ready to have a shot at Bianca and show those who havent seen her NXT work how dominant of a champion she can be."

[8.0] "Sweet and short match between SKY, Niven and Yim right here to the surprise of nobody because everybody knows normally the talent of these three great wrestlers so it's not surprising, we saw only five minutes of it and yet it was much more qualitative than some that last the triple. Creative sequences & spots, perfect execution with a crowd that followed well and a solid rhythm set up by everyone, this was very cool and a great showing for the beginning of IYO's singles push."

"Solid match, showcased Iyo pretty well with the spots. Really looking forward to the eventual Iyo vs Bianca match. Not sure what you do with Michin & Piper from here though, overall the woman's roster seems pretty dead atm."

[6.0] "IYO SKY won this match and was definitely the one that was meant to shine in this match - which she did. Everything else was just alright, though. Stoked that IYO's finally getting a push."

[8.0] "Very good women's fight, it lived up to what I expected, and although I didn't think it was going to be a great fight I say that I was surprised."

[8.0] "Up to this point, I feel like IYO had been held back. Whether that was because she was in a new environment or being in a tag team, I don't know, but she showed glimpses of her former glory here and impressed me with her performance. Of course, Mia Yim and Piper Niven were good here too, and the matc had a good pace that gave everyone involved a chance to shine. The finish was good too. Hope the Damage CTRL split benefits everyone involved. [****]"

[6.0] "One of the better performances from everyone involved since Hunter took charge. They all had time to shine and Iyo winning seems like the direction of a singles push. Damage Control already is done so I guess this is for the better."

[8.0] "I'm all in for the iyo push and this match proved why everyone else should be iyo has been getting back to her old self before she injured her foot"

[8.0] "Very good match, all three delivered as I excepted them to do Iyo winning was the right choice, and I hope she beat Bianca, and I liked the way they started Damage CTRL ending storyline"
