Adam Cole vs. Kyle O'Reilly

[9.0] "Both guys start off with a face off rather than a tie up, lots of MMA influence there with leg kicks, judo throws, then moved to ground and pound by both an an armbar by KOR. They trade off from strikes that dont look overly choreographed, but all dodged and countered. Theres a spot where Cole gets so frustrated he just starts punching KOR. Cole is working over KORs knee, KORs working over Coles arm. They do a dueling boots spot where they both hit a bicycle kick at the same time. THEN ADAM COLE GETS HIS FUCKING LIP SPLIT OPEN AND THERES FUCKING BLOOD EVERYWHERE. Nigel and Kevin Kelly sell it as his front teeth falling out, even though thats not the case. Hes just fucking spitting blood everywhere. The crowd then fucking goes crazy at whats happening to him. KOR has one of the best sells to a superkick Ive ever fucking seen where he just melts from the ring to the floor. Kyles too exhausted to even run the ropes off an Irish Whip, but then lulls Cole into a false sense of security and hits a rolling armbar, reversed into a sharpshooter, reversed into a modified armbar by KOR, reversed into a figure four lock and Kyle taps. Really good match!"

[8.0] "Pre-match promo did a good job giving this match needed context, they set the stage for a very heated match with a decisive finish - action was very good (some spots were great) and O'Reilly looked impressive enough, but there was a fuck finish which hurt the match for me."

[9.0] "This is great, a heated feud in the ring, with a lot of intensity. Both are great wrestlers and it's a non stop technical match with some brawl elements and the conclusion is smart. ****1/2"

[9.0] "One of the better matches in the Cole vs O'Reilly rivalry. These guys wasted no time in going after each other right at the bell as both guys had hatred they needed to let out on each other. There was some great storytelling/psychology used in this match with Cole attacking Kyle's leg throughout the match, and Kyle attacking Cole's arm towards the latter half. The sequences in this match were superb as both guys have proven before they have great chemistry. The ending was also perfect with Cole using the ropes to get the cheap win, but Kyle wouldn't let him out of a submission, ****1/2."

[9.0] "Great match with constant action and excitement. The only problems were that selling kind of faded towards the end and while the ending was smart to keep the rivalry going, it felt a bit anticlimactic. Still a great match tho ****"

[7.0] "Fine match between Cole and O'Reilly. Kyle worked Cole's arm and Cole worked Kyle's legs. However, I think the match was too fast. I felt a lack of emotion in the submissions. However, It was a hell of a match."

[1.0] "I have watched this 2 times now, and I didn't like it. These 2 had a great match in ROH few years ago, so I was pretty disappointed in this. I am a fan of O'Reilly, but I thought he was pretty awful in this match. His strikes looked awful, his selling was bad & his submission spots weren't interesting. Cole also wasn't much better, as his control segments weren't any good. This was a bad match all around, in my opinion. It missed the intensity of their 2012 ROH match, and that's a shame. *1/4"
